AV 19 Main Event World Championship - Adrian Kytes (c) vs. Alaina Sanders

Adrian's head popped above the parapet that was the top rope just in time to see Alaina charging straight at her with her arm outstretched, battering the champion and her silver and black singlet straight over the top. Fortunately for Adrian she'd just about managed to hook her arm over the rope and use it so she only landed knees first on the apron instead of face first on the floor. Fully-conscious Adrian would have to thank half-conscious Adrian later for that instinctive act of preservation, but right now they still had an Amazon in front of her to deal with.

Reaching up as she gingerly rose to her feet, she'd give Alaina the collar and elbow tie-up the bigger woman had wanted since the start of the match, only to drop down to the bottom rope, pulling the amazon's neck down into the top rope and letting it spring back like a rubber band to throw her back all the while trying to play the whole illegal move off as an accident "It's nothing, I'm fine." the champion breathed "Leg gave out for a moment, lost my balance, that's all." She waved off as she slipped back in.

"Aaacck!" Alaina choked out as she fell forward, the rope harshly choking her before sling shotting the amazon back into the center of the ring! She landed with a loud crash and kicked the mat in pain as well as frustration at Adrians tactics. She coughed and wheezed as she rolled over to push herself back up to her feet. Adrian had successfully stunned Alaina to buy herself a nice opening to act, something Alaina hated to have given up since she knew what Adrian could do when allowed to string moves together. Alaina was determined to try to stop whatever it was that Adrian had planned but this was going to be much easier said than done!

"Let's try this again..." Adrian whispered to herself as she approached the rising amazon, her right arm already raised and ready to fire off another forearm shot aimed at the challenger's skull, going back to where she was before the champ was unceremoniously swept off her feet by trying to bully the bigger woman back into the ropes for a change.

Alaina was about to get up when Adrian smashed her in the back of the head with a hard forearm strike! Alaina groaned and stumbled back a few steps, a hard covering her head at the point of impact. She shook her head and tried to literally shake off the cobwebs but Adrian was pecking away at the amazon as Alaina was watching her slowly build up momentum. She couldn't allow that to happen.

Alaina wasn't going to just stand there but her capacity to immediately strike back was limited. Alaina slumped against the ropes, holding herself up with her free hand on the top rope. Alaina tried to lash out at Adrian with a desperate kick to her abdomen as she was draped over the ropes although she knew the strike was more a gesture of defiance that was easily dodged.

It wasn't often that Adrian could push people around the ring like this, especially against bigger opponents, but the Bullet Club champion's ego boost was matched by a more aggressive outlook in the ring. She should be the one to boss people around in the squared circle, that was why she was the champ now! That and allying herself with a bunch of like-minded opportunists who were still trying to get a Hot Topic deal but that was beside the point.

The staggering Amazon had put enough space between herself and Adrian that when she did rally back, trying to pay Adrian back in kind for the earlier attack, the former cosplayer had enough space to step back and catch the boot before the big woman pulled away, letting her spin underneath Alaina's leg to take her back down with a Dragon Screw.

Alaina's attack was caught and she shook her head in dismay as she was sent packing to the mat! She landed with a loud thud, moaning in pain as the landing left quite a mark on her! Alaina was flat on her back, raising her leg up and letting it flop to the mat as she was in pain from the dragon screw. The champion was doing a good job of making the challenger look a bit more like a pretender and that was a bit of a blow to Alaina's pride. She struggled to sit up and rise to her feet, knowing that she didn't want to be laying down or any sort of stationary target for Adrian at any point in the match! Alaina was off to a slow start knowing full well she had to really work to dig out of a hole let alone to take control of the battle.

Springing back up on her feet, Adrian wasted little time in going back to work as the champion dashed off towards the opposite ropes and jumping into them, letting the tension build up in the covered cables before it launched her back at the Amazon in a flat sprint. The champion ran as hard as she good, arms outstretched as she ducked down for an aerodynamic boost before leaping up into the air with her arm cocked and ready to throw another forearm at Alaina, this time a flying forearm!

Alaina saw Adrian coming and tried to brace herself. Adrian was low and flying at Alaina who tried to quickly step to the side while reaching her arms out to catch Adrian! "Not today, you aren't going to make me look like some chump!" Alaina said as she tried to catch Adrian and spin, using Adrian's speed against her while attempting to counter the flying forearm smash into a powerslam! Alaina wanted to draw a line in the sand, or on the canvas given where they were and if nothing else this moment was it or so she hoped. She wanted to show Adrian that she also had improved since their last tag battle in the gym all those years ago. Alaina had gotten better just as Adrian had.

Adrian soared through the air gracefully, and was promptly splatted into the canvas with enough speed on the spin that her body only started to register that it was no longer vertical for a couple of seconds after she'd stopped bouncing on the mat from Alaina's powerslam. Looking up at the lights wasn't so bad for the moment, quite comfortable if it weren't for the excruciating pain "...Motherfuck..." She wheezed.

Alaina managed to pull off the counter but Adrian had shown that Alaina really needed to wrestle the perfect match in order to win. No mistakes, no slip-ups. Nothing. Adrian was capable of stringing together smart, brutal offense against any woman in the ring. She had shown that time and time again in her career. It was up to Alaina to show that she could face down a woman like Adrian and still come out on top when everything was on the line!

Alaina quickly adjusted herself to grab one of Adrian's arms and pull it straight up while positioning her legs to wrap them around Adrian's outstretched arm, as well as her throat to lock in a nasty leg scissor choke hold on the champion! Alaina got her down, and now wanted to try to use her power to sap the fight out of Adrian! Alaina was known for power but wanted to show the world that she wasn't some slouch in other aspects of wrestling!
