Of Angels and Amazons

Risako was breathing hard as she leaned against the ropes, sweat causing her normally luxurious purple hair to cling in damp, tangled strands to her forehead. She looked up weakly as Alaina strode towards her, and was powerless to resist as she was grabbed and hauled away from the ropes, her head suddenly getting shoved between the Amazon's powerful thighs.

Risako knew what was coming next, and knew that, even in her battered state, she had to resist it, or it would be curtains for her. The blood briefly rushed to her head as she was lifted upside down, before being brought up directly above Alaina's shoulders. Then, just as Alaina dropped to execute the Amabomb, Risako tried to latch her legs around Alaina's head and arch back, hoping to counter Alaina's move by flipping her head over heels and slamming her down onto her shoulders in a sitout pin!

If the move worked, then Risako would try to grab a hold of one of Alaina's legs and hold on for dear life in a pin attempt. Otherwise, if she failed, then she would be flattened to the mat by the colossal impact of the Amabomb and left barely conscious on her front...

Alaina was about to send Risako crashing down to the mat, but when she began to move forward her opponent had managed to change things up by tightening her legs around Alaina's head sending her to the mat instead with a hurricanrana! Alaina groaned and landed hard as she was rolled over for a pin. Alaina shouted as she began to struggle in her attempt to remove Risako from her.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Alaina screamed as she thrust up, using her legs to break the pin as she prevented herself from being defeated right then and there. The hurricanrana hurt but Alaina was still rising to her feet as she wanted to keep pounding on Risako. She also wanted to get Peggy back in the match as well. For now she was content to rise to her feet and on her guard knowing that Risako wasn't going to take Alaina kicking out lightly.

Peggy saw the amabomb get countered and hopped back to the apron from the top, not wanting to be shoved from there all the way to the ground below. She paced back and forth a bit as she watched Alaina and Risako continue their fight.

Risako was lucky that she had managed to avoid the Amabomb, and luckier still that she had managed her hurricanrana. Forcing Alaina's legs back, she tried to force the pin...only for the Amazon to thrust her off with those same legs, sending Risako rolling away. She had almost had her, Risako knew. Just a few more seconds...

Breathing hard, Risako tried to get to her hands and knees and crawl to her corner. Emily was waiting anxiously, hand extended for the tag. She just had to get to her in time...

Alaina saw Risako going for a tag as she stumbled up to her feet. Not good.... even though Alaina was still stunned she knew Risako was worse off. The amazon gave chase trying to catch up to Risako to grab her but the ankles and pull her back! Alaina knew if she could pull it off things were looking up for her team! However if Risako made the tag she would be out of place and facing a fresh Emily!

Risako gritted her teeth as she crawled towards the ropes. The vibrating of the ring, however, quickly confirmed what she was afraid of: Alaina was already back on her feet and was giving chase. Risako felt her ankles being grabbed at that point, and hissed a curse as she was suddenly being dragged back!

Knowing that the had to move quickly, Risako spun, aiming to drive her free leg forwards, punching her foot straight into Alaina's midsection in the aim of driving the air from her lungs! If this managed to make Alaina release her, then Risako would waste no time in leaping for the ropes and tagging Emily in...otherwise, she would be at the mercy of whatever Alaina had planned....

Alaina was ready to pull, but she was hammered in the abdomen! She doubled over wheezing as she hobbled back. Risako was going to make it to tag Emily no question. Alaina was now hobbling back in an effort to tag Peggy in, hoping that she could counter the fresher Emily! However Alaina knew there was a chance that Emily would make it in to try to prevent her tag. She had to be prepared for that although she saw Peggy reaching out trying to stretch her arm out as much as possible. Alaina stumbled forward trying to reach Peggy in time!

Huffing for breath, Risako crawled over to the ropes, where Emily was ready, reaching over to tag her partner in. Risako slapped the Scotswoman's outstretched hand, and in an instant, Emily was leaping over the ropes and bounding into the ring, running right after the retreating Amazon.

If she failed to stop Alaina in time, then she would be potentially open to whatever Peggy had in store--- otherwise, if she got to Alaina in time, then, with a shout of "Where d'ye think YE'RE going?" she would try to get her arms around Alaina's waist and arch back to nail her in a back body suplex!

Alaina stumbled to Peggy and reached out only to be lift up and back! She shook her head before crashing down to the mat groaning in agony as she crashed down hard to the mat, cradling the back of her head and kicking the canvas in pain in the aftermath of the surprise backdrop by Emily! Alaina was down and now the one who needed to tag in Emily otherwise she was going to be in trouble. The amazon had to collect herself and focus trying to key in on Emily and counter whatever it was she had planned for Alaina.

Rolling to the side after nailing Alaina with that drop kick, Emily would quickly get back to her feet. She knew that she couldn't afford to waste time against the Amazon, but she was also eager for some payback after getting tossed around by her earlier in the match. Grabbing a hold of Alaina's arm, she would try to hoist the big girl to her feet, before driving a knee up into her chest, hoping to drive the air from her lungs. If she managed that, then she would wrap an arm around her head, and grabbing a hold of her thigh with another, and unless Alaina did somethign to escape, she would try to lift the Amazon up into a suplex, aiming to keep her leg hooked for a pin when she brought her crashing down!

Alaina moaned as Emily yanked her up and grabbed hold of her. Alaina reached out to try to push herself free or pry herself away but it was too late. She was already lift up and came crashing down painfully on her back! "Arrrgghhhh!" Alaina howled as she was pinned to the mat after, her arms and free leg flopping about as she struggled to free herself.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

Alaina let out a loud war cry of a howl thrusting to her side as hard as she could, breaking the pin after two. She flopped down on her side, trying to crawl towards Peggy. She knew she needed the tag but Emily would be on top of her in a moment. She really needed to get up to her feet.
