Of Angels and Amazons

Emily laughed at Peggy's quip. "Oi, even without big tanky muscles, you still hit me wi' a few slams I'll be feeling all week, luv," she replied. "I wouldn't sell yourself short just yet." She rubbed the back of her head. "Anyway, seeing as ye' never got th' chance to personally beat me as ye intended, hopefully I can make it up to ye wi' a drink sometime."

"Hey, be sure to invite me for that," Risako quipped, turning back to Alaina with a smile. "So the score's even between us. Don't think that it's over between us, though, and don't think that you'll be so lucky next time, Amazon." Even though Risako was being good-natured about her defeat, the competitive part of her still couldn't help but trash talk with Alaina even now...especially since this match had cemented the Amazon for her as a worthy rival.

Peggy smiled and nodded at the thought of sharing a few drinks with Emily. Emily may have been bigger but Peggy was curious to see who could put more pints away..... "You just tell me when n' I will be there." Peggy said with a large grin on her face.

"Lucky? This win wasn't luck but I am always up for a match whenever you are. A night out doesn't sound too bad either actually." Alaina added, realizing it had been a while since she was involved in any sort of girls night out. She had spent time with Trent to balance her career and personal life but sometimes a friend night was called for.

Risako chuckled at that. "That makes two of us, then," she said. With how good natured she was acting, it would have been impossible to believe that she had just lost a gruelling, physically punishing match just now. "We'll try to keep in touch...both for the night out, and for a rematch!"

And with that, Emily propped Risako up, and the two of them exited the ring and walked up the ramp. Although they had both lost, their fans cheered them all the same for a well-fought match.
