Cowboys & Amazons (for kerflubble)

In the AFW's Arena's locker room, Johnny Laurence undressed, stripping off the black spandex pants that served as his wrestling attire. Grabbing a nearby towel, he headed into the large adjoining shower room. Although the room was currently empty, with several private stalls available, the dark haired American elected to stay in the large open room, where shower heads lined the walls and ringed the tops of several nine foot high metal pillars that were set in intervals on the floor. It was to one of the these pillars that Johnny went to.
Setting the towel aside, he hit the button turned on the showerhead he was under, letting hot water run down his bared body. On an impulse he looked about, then smiled.
"Right, no windows in this one." he said to himself, referring to the time he was taking a shower in the old AFW Sex Wars campus and a girl had fallen out of a tree just outside the shower room's window. Although he had taken the girl to one of the facility's doctors, Kyoko Minahara, Johnny had never gotten the girl's name, eventually having to leave to go pick up his step-sister Tiffany from the airport.

Sighing he let his mind drift to the match he just had. If one could call a five minute skirmish a match. The girl had been one of the many jobbers trying to break into the AFW's main ranks. She had an idol gimmick, which many of the Japanese girls were using. Quick, lithe and agile, like many of the Japanese girls, she avoided the first few attacks Johnny had put out as a way of testing her. However, after rolling under a clothesline had brought the girl to the corner, she quickly hopped onto the second rope and leaped at the Texan, who had turned to keep track of her, for a double axe handle aimed at his head. However, Johnny countered with his superkick finisher as the girl flew at him, almost nonchalantly blasting her out of the air. She was done, and three counts later, so was the match.
Shaking his head, Johnny said softly, "It was over so fast I can't even remember her name. Na...Na...not going to be around for much longer if she keeps fighting like that. There are some guys here more vicious than me that would've took their time destroying that girl...."
Putting that thought out of his head, Johnny focused on the pleasurable sensation of hot water hitting his skin...

Rebecca Tomoko was in the showers, recovering from a tough match against The AFW Samurai Kyo. Her trip to Tension had been a lot different from what she'd heard. She'd assumed that it would be a trip down easy street, but things were never as she expected. No boy toy for her to dismantle, but a wrestler who wouldn't stay down.

"Maybe tommorow I'll get a break." She thought out loud, turning off the water and wrapping a few towels around her. She heard Kyoto was supposed to be relaxing, so she might find something to take away the stress. But she couldn't do that in a towel so she had to head to her lockers to find some street clothes.

After finishing his shower, Johnny turned off the water. Depositing the towel in a basket made for that purpose he headed back into the locker room to change. Thinking back to his match, the Texan wondered when the league would put him up against one of the actual members of the roster. Or at least against someone who had a first match lasting longer than five minutes.
"Heh maybe tomorrow I'll get a break." he mused softly as he came in, unknowingly echoing the locker room's occupant.
That's when he saw her. Most Japanese girls kept themselves small, light and thin. But Rebecca Tomko wasn't most Japanese girls. Johnny knew Rebecca by reputation and the various videos from AFW's Friction to be one of, if not the strongest of AFW's women.
*Hell, she's probably stronger than most of the men.* he thought to himself, her size and apparent strength enough to make him stop and stare in wonder for a moment. Then he remembered his rule about entering co-ed shower and locker rooms and finding a member of the opposite sex in them.
"Ahem, guy coming in, sorry." he said.
Although the locker room was technically co-ed, Johnny was still slightly old fashioned about intergender nude-ness. Not to mention in Sex Wars, showing up unannounced was usually taken as the first step to a surprise attack, so to try and keep the peace, Johnny usually called out when entering places like this. Not that it helped him much in Sex Wars, but at least in Tension the girls had a chance to cover themselves if they were shy about their nudity. Which Johnny figured he should do....except he had discarded his towel back in the showers. Deciding to play it off, he strode to his locker, opening it to take out his clothes...

Rebecca was barely holding up the towel as she opened her locker, not really to bothered about what was exposed or not: her muscles were the first thing anyone saw making most people think twice about trying anything. That and the place was completley empty from what it looked like when she got there, making it all the more surprising when Johnny announced his own entrance.

Remembering a bit about what Adrian (who'd learn't from tapes) and Clyde(who'd lived it) said was the origional way sex wars was run, she couldn't blame him, "Don't worry, just finished a match so I'm not going to pin you to the wall or crush you with my legs or something." She said before turning her head to look at who had just entered, mostly subconciously.... then looked away quite fast trying not to blush. "No towel?" she asked casually, trying not to seem bothered that she just got a full frontal view. A strangley familiar one at that.

Slipping on some panties and a specially made sports bra, she still had the itch that she'd seen him before somewhere, naked as well. Taking a risky look at the hot cowboy changing, she couldn't shake it. "Do I... have we met?" She asked.

"Didn't think someone would be in here, so I left it the bin back in the showers." the Texan replied.
He looked back over his shoulder as he said this, in time to see Rebecca putting on some under clothes. Although he probably should've turned away, he couldn't help but take in the view for a few seconds. The amazon's muscles didn't take anything away from her beauty, but in his eyes, enhanced it, by making her stand out from the crowd of small, petite kawaii types that seemed to fill AFW's lower ranks. Taking out a pair of silk black boxers he put them on while saying "No, I don't think we've met. Trust me, I'd remember meeting Rebecca Tomko."
Turning around to face the bigger woman, he added "I'm Johnny Laurence. You've probably at least heard about Tiffany Laurence back at Friction? She's my step-sister."

Despite Johnny's insistance, Rebecca still couldn't shake the feeling that she'd seen him somewhere, even if he hadn't met her in person before now. "Nice to meet you Johnny," she said, turning to face him with a friendly smile "didn't know I had a reputation here, aren't there bigger people wrestling in Kyoto?" the amazon asked.

"Maybe," Johnny shrugged. "But most of 'em look like mutants from one of those Troma flicks from back in the day. You on the other hand,most certainly don't, if you don't mind me saying so."
He turned away briefly to put on a pair of blue jeans, unknowingly putting his rear on display again as he bent over to pull them up. Turning back around he added, "Not to mention none of them are as dominant in the AFW as you are. What you did to that Poison girl, nice piece of work."

"Tomra?" Rebecca repeated: the reference totally lost on the amazon, was she suppossed to say thanks or grab him by the throat? It was probably meant to be a compliment, so it was best for her to take it as that "Thanks... I guess." she said, still unable to shake the feeling that she'd seen him.

"Why is that the match people seem to remember the most?" She asked "I didn't know when I signed up for it that it was going to leave that impression." the dark skinned woman almost growled, it was fun but still, it was so far her most famous match, which was kind of embarrassing. Like being videoed in the shower...

The Amazon stopped herself mid-train of thought, giggling slightly to herself. "Hey." She said, turning to the Texan "Do you know a girl named Adrian? Carried a video camera, pokemon hat..."

"Video camera?" Johnny echoed. "The only girl who carried a video camera around that I knew was this girl who fell out of a tree out by the old Tension complex."
He shook his head.
"She was up in a tree filming butterflies outside a window by the guy's shower room when she....lost..." he paused as he remembered the hat." "Wait a sec....brown hair, about this high?"
He held his hand up to about Adrian's probable height.
"Could be kinda ditsy, or maybe it was just a concussion?" he finished.
