Alaina vs. Echo: Rookie takes on an Amazon

Alaina was down and hurting when she heard Echo coming rushing toward her. Alaina looked up just in time to see Echo landing painfully on top of her with a big leg drop! "Oomph!" Alaina groaned as her limbs flopped up into the air before landing limply aside her. Alaina felt Echo lay on top of her while pulling a leg up, realizing that she was being pinned!

"ONE!"

Alaina thrust her shoulder up just before the referee's hand hit the mat a second timesaving Echo away before rolling the opposite way in an effort to rise back to her feet uninterrupted although the feisty Echo likely was not going to just stand there and let this happen!

"Darn it!"

Echo protested, slapping her hand on the mat. Her attempt to end the match with a fast victory hadn't gone well, Alaina clearly needing more damage done to her before the greek woman could get her first victory, and she wanted to win. Her entire family was watching this at home, they expected her to win, in their honor!

Upon kicking out though, the woman began rolling away and Echo let her, taking a few moments to catch her breath. "You may have kicked out of that, but I'm not gonna lose to you! I'm a fifth generation wrestler, I'm better than anybody in this league!"

Alaina shook her head and began to rise to her feet, trying to take a few deep breaths to help herself recover from Echo's impressive blitz! "I get that you are good but you have quite a ways to go before making a claim like that!" Alaina said as she stood up, facing Echo as she readied herself. Alaina moved a bit more cautiously as she stepped in trying to wrap up Echo with a grapple! Alaina wasn't sure what she wanted to do exactly but at least grappling with echo meant she would stay still for a moment.

However if Echo had a plan then Alaina could very well have walked right in to a trap and found herself back on the wrong end of Echo continuing to build momentum!

Oh Echo had a plan alright. The Amazon clearly had more power than her, and could overwhelm her with her strength easily, so Echo would just make sure she never got the chance.

Raising her arms in a grappling stance, she came closer to Alaina, making it seem like they were about to lock up again...when the spoiled brat instead kicked out wth her bare foot, trying to stomp right on the same hurt ankle she had been targeting! After the stomp, if it took Alaina off balance like she hoped, the pink haired girl would grab her around her head in a front head lock and fall back, trying to drop Alaina headfirst to the mat with a DDT!

Alaina moved in and was taken by surprise as Echo stomped down on her! Alaina yelped in surprise and the momentary pause in her advance ended up costing her quite a bit. Alaina was hobbled for a split second and Echo capitalized, wrapping her head up and falling back, planting Alaina hard to the canvas with a DDT! Alaina moaned in pain as she crumpled down, rolling to her side and cradling her head in her arms as Echo successfully took her down quite hard!

The greek rookie cockily smirked, her plan working perfectly. The stomp to Alaina's clearly hurting ankle taking its toll and making the former champion stumble, allowing her to plant her headfirst into the mat.

"That's it! You're done for!" the pink haired teen 18 year old crowed, diving on top of Aliana and hooking both legs for a pin attempt, certain that she was going to score her first victory, over a former champion to boot, as the referee dropped down to count the pin attempt!

"ONE!"

Alaina went down and Echo quickly covered her for the pin! Alaina was in a bit of a daze and the count hit one before she knew what was going on. As the referee counted to two Alaina thrust her shoulder up forcefully to break the pin! "You are going to need a bit more than that kid..." Alaina said as she sat up, getting ready to rise again to her feet to get herself back in the match!

Echo showed a lot of promise, but she seemed to overestimate how much damage her offense could do to an opponent. Alaina was going to try to show her that the big times were different than whatever promotion she wrestled in prior to this!

The pink haired rookie had been certain that her DDT had the match won, clearly underestimating the actual skill of the former Entropy Champion, as The Amazon kicked out just as the ref counted two, making Echo roll off her of, slapping her palms on the mat.

"Darn it!" she yelled, the spoiled brat teenager repeatedly slapping on the mat in frustration. "Why won't you just lose!? I come from a LEGACY, I'm better than you!"

She yelled at Alaina, seeing the woman already rolling over and starting to get to her knees. Growling, she got back up to her bare feet, and threw a couple hard punches at Alaina's head while she was still on her knees, then ran towards the ropes, looking to bounce off of them and rebound towards Alaina, looking to clothesline the Amazon back to the mat!

"You cocky little...Oomph!  Ngh!  Arrgghhh!"  Alaina was saying before the punches smashed her int he face stunning her as she cradled her face in her hands.  Now truly angered, as Echo ran towards the ropes, the Amazon rose up, letting out a mighty roar as she charged in towards the pink haired woman, sticking her arm out to smash her with a clothesline!

Echo, being the cocky little brat she was, was certain that if she could just take her opponent down one more time, she'd be able to finish her off with ease...but, she had been underestimating her opponent this entire match so far, and anybody watching who had the slightest idea who Alaina was could tell that Echo repeatedly poking a bigger bear than she should be going near.

Finally, as she rebounded, it seemed the bear had awoken, as Alaina slammed her arm into Echo's chest, the girl going wide eyed in surprise at the blow, the sheer strength of the Amazon causing the pink haired greek girl to flip backwards, head over heels, before landing face and chest first on the mat, letting out pained gasps and wheezes as she skidded to a stop on the mat!
