Fighting Style:

Elena is all about ending matches as quickly as possible using her speed and HIGHLY aggressive techniques to completely overwhelm her foes! While capable of just about everything, Elena seems to favor quick and agonizing submissions more than she would strikes or high-flying techniques, getting her opponents on the ground and wearing them out to the point they can no longer resist her pins. Speaking of which, Elena seems almost too eager to pin her downed foes in an effort to end the fight sooner than later... lest her stamina run low and her reaction-time whither!

However, her aggressive tactics leaves her with little to no defensive options beyond her agility and ability to counter, leaving her easily susceptible to combination attacks.

Wrestling Stats:

Strikes: 2/5 – While not her all-time favorite, Elena occasionally mixes up strikes into her fighting to throw off foes and leave them open to submissions.

Submissions: 4/5 - Elena's favorite and most frequent type of attack. From types of roll-up submissions to the special Octopus Hold, Elena is at her strongest here.

Powerhouse: 2/5 – While Certainly strong, Elena doesn't like such brutish tactics as overwhelming her foes with raw, unrelenting power. If she HAD to, she's capable.

Aerials: 3/5 - Aerials are certainly part of her fighting style. From taking an opponent to the turnbuckle to dropkicks, Elena uses flips and drops to try and weaken resistances to her submissions.

Counters: 3/5 – Elena's main method of keeping her opponents under control... especially other highly aggressive wrestlers. While chain-attacks can leave her vulnerable, stronger blows are certainly much easier for her to counter.

The Elena Finale: A Backflip-Kick similar to the Sakura-Special, except striking with one, stronger kick instead of two before landing deftly on her feet... and front-flipping back towards the foe, bringing a heels down upon her now fallen opponent's chest in a leg-drop like fashion.

Counter-Finale: Elena reacts to an opponent's sudden attack, jumping upon them and latching them into an agonizing octopus hold!

History:

Elena Miyazawa and Sakura Hagiwara were always the best of friends... but the orange-haired fighter always saw herself as second-best. Beneath the deep and long-running respect and friendship she had for Sakura, there was always an underlying jealous burn, a drive to out-do her and show her own skills as something different and special! It was when both she and Sakura took off to learn the art of wrestling did Elena's more jealous-side make it's appearance. The pair of them challenged by Rio Kazama, Elena was the first to step up and show Sakura just what she was made of!

...She was humiliated. Before Sakura, Rio beat the ever-living tar out of Elena. Despite her drive being as strong as it had ever been, despite her body being strong her resolve ever-growing, Rio was simply FAR stronger than she. There was no trade of blows, no exchange of fire-power that would've given this fight meaning to the poor, inexperienced Elena... Only a brutal-beat-down that soon spread to Sakura as well... Sakura, who came to HER defense! It was embarrassing... Here she was, trying to be tough and she had to be saved by her...

Ugh!

What was even more frustrating... Was that Sakura had completely left the Divas from which they had came! This wasn't just some one-time thing for her, no she dedicated herself to the sport... and left them all there to make do! Elena couldn't believe it... First she was shown up here... NOW she was being show up in wrestling as well! Resolved to show up Sakura one last time and bring her back to the Divas, Elena enlisted as a mysterious new combatant and trained FURIOUSLY for the day she would encounter Sakura Hagiwara again.

A new, cold and quiet wrestler known only as the Blue Panther utterly devastated the cast of fighter she had come across, tearing through them like her namesake through her prey. Eventually... she would set her eyes on the group Sakura had formed... Starting with Rio. Elena would've been a liar if she didn't admit that there was some kind of pleasure in taking her down after having to bear that shame all that time ago... She and the rest of Sakura's team would fall to her superior and aggressive tactics... before coming face to face with her friend...

Discarding her mask, Elena revealed herself and her purpose doing what she as doing... before attacking and beginning the match! Either unwilling or unable to fight back, Sakura was QUICKLY dominated in the opening and middle-segments of the match, Elena hammering into her with strikes, submissions and high-flying moves, weakening her to the point Elena thought she had her beat... Until Sakura truly began showing all the skill she had accumulated! She fought back with much more grace and refinement than SHE had, Elena's moves becoming predictable as she was analyzed, sloppy as she grew frustrated... before Sakura ultimately defeated her...

At the end of it all, both Elena and Sakura came to a consensus, agreeing to work together to become the strongest in the world!

...but like always, Sakura was always a step or two ahead of her. When the AFW asked Sakura to join, it was but a one-person invitation. Left back in the old ring, Elena was at first devastated... then DETERMINED to make them see her worth as a fighter too! Elena trained harder than she ever had, TORE through fighter after fighter like a woman on a mission... until she attained what she wanted.

Elena joined the AFW far later than Sakura had... and now it was time to close the distance that had been made between them once more!

Personality:

Elena is very much a tomboy in her sense of fashion, favoring simple-tee's and hoodies over dresses and skirts when out on her own in public. Indeed she's quite the a bit louder and more aggressive than some of her friends, taking charge and the spotlight of a situation... even if it might be better for her to stay back. More than anything, though, Elena seeks to out-do and beat Sakura to get even with her for what happened back in their old league! ...And then beat her again so that she can show to everyone that she's better!

Even with all this competition, however, Elena still has a LOT of respect for Sakura and still sees her as her best friend. Never once does she fight her out of malice, more so just to prove her worth in the eyes of everyone else. In this aspect, one might be able to judge that she has a minor inferiority complex when it comes to Sakura, but even so, it never stopped her from feeling more than joy when she sees Sakura accomplish something... or anger when she's mistreated! Elena is eager to step into the ring to help or defend her friends when they're in trouble or even challenge foes she KNOWS are stronger just to make a point! Elena might not think things through overmuch... but she means well in almost everything she does.
