Raul Tejada vs Makoto Takeda: Mismatch?

...And it was made all the more devestating given his height-difference to hers. With his longer legs and bigger body, his blows could, in theory, cut much deeper than Makoto's. The opposite wasn't true for him, however, as the smaller girl hit with SUCH strength, it was like fighting another man HIS SIZE compacted down into a much smaller and lean figure! It was... perplexing... but the fight seemed to be going well, all things considered. His knee-strikes hit the smaller girl hard enough to keep her down on the floor this time, moaning and cursing as she rolled around on the floor.

Aye... a good kick in the balls would do that to someone... Experience on both ends of that one.

Raul would cup a fist in his hand, cracking it's knuckles as he approached Makoto, bringing his boot back... and THROWING It into her ribs as if he were going for a goal-making Soccer-shot! In truth, it was meant to flip her on her stomach and, if he managed to do so, he would sit himself down upon her spine, get nice and comfy as he locked his hands under her chin... and  YANKED back!

No mercy right?

Should he manage to get in this camel-clutch, Raul would pull back as if he were planning to BEND her in half, eager to get a word of submission out sooner rather than later. Never want to spend longer than you have to in a fight, that's for sure. And in this one where it's not a fight to the finish? It should be much easier to get his opponent to cry uncle.

Okay, so the fucker could hit pretty damn hard when he wanted to. Seemed like he had some expertise behind those punches, too. Maybe a pro fighter? They got enough MMA rejects in Tension, wouldn’t be surprising. At least she was getting a clear picture of what she was up against now. Good to have hard data.


Not that it helped her much at the moment. And on a related note, why was that move even legal? Kicking people in the nuts was a big offense, but a guy dropping her groin on his knee, that was okay? God, wrestling could be fucking dumb.


Raul was quick to make the most of the moment, too, moving in just as Makoto was starting to push her way back up. A kick rocked her ribs, flipping her over like a helpless turtle, and he was on her a moment later, grabbing her chin, pulling back, and…


”Fuck!” Makoto groaned as she was pulled back, her flexibility put to the test under the strain of his camel clutch. Nasty move, and one that made her wish she’d taken up Devine’s offer to learn some yoga. Would come in handy.


The referee dropped down to a knee nearby, checking her up and down. ”Makoto! Makoto, do you give?”


To which, she had a polite reply. ”Go fuck yourself!”

Raul seemed to hum a pleasant tune as he wrenched Makoto's spine back bit by bit, a little ditty from his homeland that flooded him with pleasant memories! It brought him back to the days where he was one of the little hungry children clammering around the legs of the cooks, mouths watering at the smell of their first meal of the weak! the ghost of scents of lightly spiced meat and hot, steamed vegetables filled the Mexican's nostrils as he lost himself in his head for but a moment... at least, until the Ref started SCREAMING in Makoto's ear!

"Mi señora ... Tal lenguaje no te conviene ..." He murmured softly, his voice soft and gentle like melted butter. "Eres demasiado hermosa para manejar ese vitriolo feo..."

Still, that did not stop him from keeping his hold and LOCKING it in place, letting it drain the strength of his smaller opponent! He would be MORE than content to just... end the match like this, to keep this girl suffering in his grip until she could take it no more! If Makoto couldn't find a way out... that might just be how it went, too!

Raul went back to humming is soft little song, an up-beat and bouncy tune... to contrast the utterly merciless damage he was inflicting upon his opponent!

...okay, fuck, the whispering in her ear was kind of hot. Makoto wasn’t typically the type to go for that sort of thing, not the sort to get swept up by some lothario dripping hot words into her ear, but she had to admit - Raul was good at it. Maybe it was just the vibrations messing with her, though, some of physical reaction. Yeah, that’s what it was. Couldn’t be helped.

Whatever the case, it wasn’t making the pain from this hold any easier to take, and it wasn’t giving her any options she could see for escape. It was a simple hold, but those were the worst ones. Effective. Tight. Solid.

But maybe there was an option.

Looking out of from the corner of her eyes, Makoto kept a close eye on the referee, watching and waiting as she paced around the pair of them. She waited for her to get just out of sight, moving behind Raul’s back, where she couldn’t see Makoto’s face…

...then she opened her mouth and bit down hard on the man’s fingers, giving them a nice chomp. Should be enough incentive to make him let go.

Oh...?

Raul could swear he felt a difference in the girl he had taken hostage. It wasn't that he was empathetic to the point of sensing someone else's emotions or some such malarkey but there were very subtle indications that this girl felt something other than a very cold wrath... While his sweet little song never once halted, his tone as smooth and soft as silk, the man couldn't help but wonder what was going through Makoto's head... Whatever it was, he only hoped that it was PG-13... Given it was japan, anything more mature might just melt his eyes into his sockets.

Speaking of grievous bodily disfigurement, Raul, in his moment of curiosity, had failed to pay attention to how close his thumbs had slipped up to the edges of the smaller woman's mouth. Indeed, Makoto wasn't the kind of girl to throw away what very well could be a GOOD opportunity, something the man could respect... if it didn't come at a cost to himself! Raul's eyes shot WIDE as Makoto CHOMPED down on the tips of his gloved fingers, her teeth EASILY piercing the thin leather of his gloves and cutting into his flesh!

The next moment, Raul's eyes narrowed in a reflexively angry flash, RIPPING his hands free of his gloves and hopping back OUT of his own hold in order to spare his fingers any more punishment! With Raul's gloves now in Makoto's mouth, the Mexican glanced down at his hands and frowned, watching as small trails of blood dribbled down his dark skin. He could almost feel the ghosts of Makoto's teeth still biting into him... his yellow eyes aglow with annoyance...

Biting Raul wasn’t something that Makoto was proud of, but then again, pride wasn’t a factor here. It was about winning, and after the rough time the Valkyries had been having the past year or so, she needed to establish herself with a few victories. Cost didn’t matter. One way or another, she was putting this into the W column.

She chomped and she chomped hard and it had the exact effect she was looking for, getting her out of the hold. She flopped forward as the referee came around and looked between them, confused - but not doing thing. Nothing to see, nothing to do. If the ref doesn’t see it, it didn't happen.

Good. Now, she just had to make something out of that.

She spat his glove and looked over her shoulder, watching as he reeled from the pain, about the only opening she could ask for out of this guy - he was clearly too good to not be on the attack soon. Pushing up, she leaped straight towards him, turned her body about as she flew, and attempted to hit him the chest with a dropkick, looking to knock him straight towards the turnbuckle.

Raul's distraction with his bitten hand was met with a solid SLAM into his chest, Makoto having practically ALL the time in the world to gear up her attack! A dropkick SLAMMED into his upper chest, each boot DRILLING into his clean white shirt with such force, he wasn't simply left stumbling into the turnbuckle... No, he was THROWN into it! The mexican GASPED as he SNATCHED at the ropes at either side of him, keeping the man from falling on his knees from how hard he had been struck... He stood... barely.... hunched over and gagging slightly, his expression having contorted from a calm, gentle smile, to a pained and shocked frown!

"How much power does she possess in that body...!?" He whispered, his lids desperately trying to blink the double-vision out of his eyes! Before, it was shocking but manageable... THIS!? It was a miracle he didn't break anything (beit himself or the ring) on his way into this corner! Either god was looking out for him or this was some weird stroke of good fortune.... Either way... His back was going to ache for the next few days... Let alone his pecs...

"Nnngh..." He groaned, pushing himself out of the corner (but only just), his breath heavy as he FORCED himself to raise to his full height and lift his hands up defensively! Even with his guard up, it was still a frail defense. If Makoto wanted to keep her momentum going, she'd find little stopping her!

”Hey, Mako!” Devine called out from the sidelines, barely stifling her laugh ”How’s he taste?”

”Go fuck yourself!”

Mako threw a quick middle finger back at Devine before refocusing on the reeling Raul, no caring much for the distraction at the moment - or ever, really. She didn’t have to take cracks like this backs run she was in control of the gang, but now that they were pretty much on the same level, it was like Devine was getting in all the giggles she couldn’t get in before. One more reason to focus on taking Raul down - she needed the respect.

He managed to get his guard up as Mako came his way, but if he thought that was going to slow her down, he was about to learn just how wrong he was. She led in with a one-two, swinging out hard with a jab and a straight, before she shot her leg low and attempted to shoot the edge of her boot right into his knee. Yeah, he was taller than her, but that wouldn’t matter much if he couldn’t stand, now would it?

Raul knew not the relationship between Makoto and her peers but from the looks of things, it was strained... a bit. At least on his opponent's end, she didn't quite appreciate the jokes being hurled her way. If anything, it was as if her friend had just told her she took scissors to her family photos! Quietly, Raul took stock of their relationship, or at least what he could see... Just in case he could make use of it later...

He wouldn't have time to contemplate what kind of scenerio it would be, however, as Makoto went RIGHT back to rushing him down! His arms folded over himself like an iron guard, the girl POUNDING them with two quick punches, the force of which preventing the much larger man from pushing his way out of the corner! It frustrated him just how much MIGHT was packed into her small frame! She didn't look strong (like those inflated meatballs that walk around here) nor did she seem especially dense! She was nothing like any of the wrestlers they had back home...

Makoto quickly attacked his knee with a quick strike of her boot, pushing it out and making it impossible for it to support his weight! Well... since he was already falling... there was no point to try and fight it on one leg! As the man collapsed under the force of gravity, Raul LASHED out with his other leg, bringing it up to SLAM into her breast-bone just below her chin, a quick, serpent-like snap before his spine SMASHED against the floor!

Yup, Raul was definitely a fighter. This was a solid case of real recognizing real. She’d taken on enough opponents to know when they had something more than just shitty wrestling camp behind their style, and that was the vibe she was getting from this guy. There was no way to know whether he’d gotten it from the ring or the streets, but either way, he was a graduate from the School of Hard Knocks. Not unlike herself, really.

Not a big deal. She’d handled guys like that before, she could handle this one. His current position was good evidence of that.

He was the one in the corner, now, while she drilled into him.

He was the one faltering as her kick connected, buckling under his own weight.

He was also the one lashing out as he faltered, throwing out a wild blow. She’d been moving when the blow came out, and it cracked her hard in the chest, coming far closer to her neck than she would’ve liked. A fast strike. Strong. Painful. Enough to really piss her off.

Not wanting to give him any real time to recover, she was quick to leap back into the fray - literally. She jumped up above him, drew her knees in, and attempted to come down on him with her full weight, crashing into his chest with a double stomp.
