The Tension crowd was settling in for another episode of Japan’s second most popular wrestling show, though they didn’t seem to excited about it. The show, while it had some good wrestling matches, hentai, and even a little guy-on-guy to draw in the heterosexual ladies, wasn’t too big motivation these days. A lot of mixups were happening with management, and people weren’t sure what to make of things, who was in charge, what the direction was set to be. So, in the meantime, they were content to just sit back and enjoy their matches.

However, that was about to change. Drastically. And it would all start with some familiar music blaring out over the loudspeakers.

”THIEVES!”

The crowd stood up and looked towards the entrance, almost as if they didn’t truly expect what they were about to see.

”THIEVES AND LIARS!
MURDERERS!”

The boos started to pour in as three familiar silhouettes came out from behind the curtain - one slender and sexy, the other tall and muscular, with a third, smaller woman right in the middle.

”HYPOCRITES AND BASTARDS!
IN LAUGHTER!”

Sure enough, Makoto Takeda, Stone, and Divine emerged from the shadows, sauntering their way down to the ring like they owned it, ignoring the waves of jeers thrown their way. Wrestling crowds may not have been the smartest in the whole world, but they had good memories. They remembered the Valkyries, even it had been a whole year since they’d appeared in Tension. Them being back was not a good thing. Not for anyone but them.

The three ladies made their way into the ring - Divine sensually shimmying her way over the middle rope, Stone leaping over the top - and made their way to the center, right after Mako took a quick detour to snatch the microphone away from the announcer. She quickly skipped back to the center of the ring with a wild smile on her face and a middle finger raised on her spare hand.

”Miss me, fuckers?”

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

”That’s what I thought.” She took a step back and enjoyed a quick bow, milking the moment for all that it was worth. ”Yup, it’s been a while, I know. Lot of new faces joined Tension since me and my girls left. Became a nicer place. A little quiet. Too quiet, don’t you think, ladies?”

Mako raised the microphone up to Divine’s face. ”Oh, definitely.” She pouted, then went back to checking her nails. ”Not nearly enough screams for my tastes. Do love the yaoi matches, though.”

And then she brought it over to Stone. ”Too quiet, yeah. Is King on vacation or something?”

Mako just shrugged and turned back to the audience. ”Maybe he got tired of raping people, don’t know. Point is, though, we’re back now. But there’s a lot of new guys who don’t realize why that’s a big deal. So, in my next match, I want everyone watching to pay real good attention to young Bryan Daniels. If you cross the Valkyries, this is what happens.”

Mako tossed the microphone away and turned to the entrance, licking her lips like a tigress waiting for her next meal. Stone and Divine made their way back out of the ring without any protest - they knew the score. Mako was the leader, she’d be showing off tonight, establishing the tone. She didn’t need any help beating down some pretty boy model

The Perpetual Underdog...The Unlikely Longshot...The Dark Horse Who's Best In Show...Always The Bridesmaid But Never The Bride...

These were but a taste of the inventive nicknames attributed to the handsome lothario during his rather mediocre Tension career so far. Bryan being forced to chuckle along with his teasing fellow Tension competitors as he pretended that the nicknames rolled off his back just so he could still be one of the guys backstage in the distinctly macho atmosphere. But he couldn't deny that he was getting just a wee bit tired of always coming within a hair's breadth of winning a match only for that hair to blow away in the breeze. He knew he needed to buck that trend of suffering tragic losses right here and now...against some biker leader who's gang is notorious for heinous beatdowns...

...shit.

Eerie vocals reverberated throughout the arena before the unmistakable chorus of Bryan's theme blasted throughout the speakers and signaled the hot blooded fan favorite to come bursting out from behind the curtains. Dressed in his trademark khaki pants with light blue dress shirt and short jacket, the model athlete himself pointed to the ring and took off charging straight towards it, sliding under the bottom ropes and dashing towards his corner to leap on the middle ropes. Emphatically leading the audience in repeating his catchy nick name by pointing his thumbs in his direction with each letter.

"B-R-Y!!"

With all fan pleasing theatrics aside, Bryan would hop down and pull out a mic from his jacket pocket as he faced his surprisingly pint-sized opponent. Keeping his aviator sunglasses on his face to hide his nervousness while attempting to address the intense looking biker gang staring him down.

"Holup Holup Holup Holup now...Cut my music, Cut my music..." Bryan requested with his hand in the air until his theme petered off. "Now, they say to succeed in life...you need to be either talented...smart...or good looking. " Bryan listed them off by extending three of his fingers in his free hand. "And I think we can aaaaaall agree which category I just so happen to fall under~...But that's not to say I'm not smart enough to see bad news when they're staring me right in my handsome face. Now I'm obviously not the type of guy to turn down kinky foursomes, but I think I'll kindly pass this time around. So whattya say you call off your lovely ladies for this one night, and we have a go of it one on one, Mako? Prove to the good Tension folk here that you're every bit the man...uh, woman...whatever you identify yourself as...you say you are?" Bryan winced from those last few words, not intending to have it come out quite like that. Even though it gained a hearty laugh and a few "ohhh snaps" from the audience.

Makoto was ready to fight. She was so ready to fight, her bones were tingling and he nerves were heating up and her heart was threatening to beat right out of her chest. How long had it been since she’d had a good fight?

A week, actually, when she and Stone got into a brawl over who was paying the proper share of the rent.

But this was different. Keeping her gang in line was business. Beating the shit out of some punk-ass pretty boy was pleasure, and she’d indulge in it just as soon as Bryan put the microphone down and shut his damn mouth.

She tapped her feet, waiting as Bryan got to his damn point, and it was pretty much what she thought it would be - he wanted a ‘fair’ fight. As if she needed help to beat a little wuss like him into the ground.

When he was done, one of the stagehands tossed Mako a microphone, and she gladly took it, all too eager to return fire. ”Well, well, well, look at this. The gaijin comes out and starts talking junk, and I’m just supposed to bow down and let you have your way? You want to make demands, little boy?” She put a hand on her hips and leaned forward. ”Want to talk about foursomes, when one of us’d leave you knocked out in the ring?”

Divine shot her hand up. ”I want to talk about foursomes!”

Makoto just sighed, ignored her underling, and moved on. ”Okay. Okay.” She spread her arms out and stepped back. ”Won’t make a difference, but if Big, Bad Bry is scared of three girls, we can do it your way. Ladies?”

Stone nodded to Mako and made her way around the ring, walking back up the ramp with Divine following close behind. The tall blonde ignored Bryan all the way, not even stopping to look at him as she passed, but Divine was a little more...enthusiastic.

She slipped a shred of paper with her number on it in Bryan’s pocket and ran a finger over his chest, getting a quick feel of those tight, modeling muscles. ”Big fan.” She winked and blew hot breaths in his ear, along with a teasing lick. ”Call me sometime.”

And with that done, she sauntered on up the ramp and disappeared behind the curtain, putting some extra swish into her hips as she went.

Back in the ring, Mako smirked and took a little bow. ”Happy now?” She tossed the microphone away and beckoned him onward.

Bryan breathed a hefty sigh of relief when appealing to Mako's sense of honor and fair-play didn't end with him just getting pummeled by the motorcycle babes just for speaking up. For once, being underestimated and having a losing track record came in rather handy as the pint-size gang leader apparently had no qualms sending her hench-women away. He did think it was kinda weird that Mako referred to him as "little boy" considering he's got close to a foot on her.

"Ladies~..." Bryan cheerily remarked to the passing Valkyrie's as they made their exit, the model athlete being the lovable gentleman by sitting on the middle ropes and widening the gap for them. First towards the mountainous Stone, whom his warm smile was returned with cold indifference. He didn't think he could get a smile out of her if he tried...unlike her far more seductive partner.

"Uh...how, uh, how big a fan?" Bryan was left gobsmacked as Divine left a far more lasting impression. He was briefly bewitched by her seductive charms as she felt up his toned physique and whispered sweetly into his ear, only barely noticing her slip him her digits as he was far too preoccupied watching her waltz back up the ramp...before Mako would spout of something from behind him and snap him out of it.

"Hmm? Happy about what? OH RIGHT!! The match!! Heh, jus gimme a sec here..." Bryan offered Mako a flustered smile as he started disrobing his jacket and giving all his belongings to the ref. Some high pitched whistles from his ardent fangirls as Bryan showed off his chiseled pecs and limbered up with some light arm stretches.

"Ya know? You're more reasonable than I thought you'd be for a crazy biker chick...but I'm still gonna have to whoop that ass though. No hard feelings, right?" Bryan cheekily commented before lightly jogging around the ring in tandem with Mako before the bell would sound off in the distance. Bryan then stepped up with his arms extended and intending to start matters off with a typical lock up, though with him immediately putting extra muscle into it to force her into a corner if she went along with the plan.

Mako wanted to beat the shit out of Bryan.

That, by itself, was no weird thing, since Mako historically wanted to beat the shit out of most people she came across, being a typically cantankerous sort. And the fact that she hadn't had a good bludgeoning in a while surely helped that feeling along.

But as she stood there and watched him do his little jog around the ring, with the fangirls - and certain fanboys - swooning at his every step, that stupid look on his stupid face with that stupid hair and the stupid smile and the stupid jokes…

It was as if Bryan Daniels was tailor made to piss her off. If Mako believed in god, she would thank him for this opportunity, and particularly for what came next.

The bell rang soon enough, and Mako was immediately presented with a shining opportunity to vent her pent-up rage. Bryan was starting this the old fashioned way, trying to initiate a collar and elbow tie-up

Cute. Gentlemanly. Pointless.

Mako was strong for her size, but not that much stronger. Not strong enough to be overpowering a fully grown model with almost half a foot over her in height and who-the-fuck knew how many pounds on her. The fuckers in the front office had almost put her in the kawaii league when she first joined the AFW.

No, she would not be doing that stupid thing. Hardly meant she would do nothing, though.

She raised her arms, looking like she was going to go for it, nearing Bryan with focused eyes. The moment they were close enough, she lunged forward, as if she would throw herself into the effort - but, instead, she switched it up quick and threw a swift jab in Bryan’s face, aiming for his nose.

Bryan had the distinct feeling that deep down Mako liked him.

Of course, his judgement in terms of what the ladies thought of him was never quite state of the art, and had led to many glasses of wine being tossed in his face. But he felt confident this time around that he had the short-stacked tough girl all figured out from the whole two minutes they had known eachother. Though the rest of the match will determine if he had judged correctly, or if he's just gonna get another proverbial face full of red wine...which could be his own blood if things went really south for him.

Approaching Mako with an attempted lock-up was indeed his way of making use of his obvious advantages over the spunky gang leader, namely his few inches of height and substantial muscle mass dwarfing her own. Mako could talk smack on the mic with the best of them but Bryan knew that she could still be easily overpowered and chucked around if she wasn't careful. Unfortunately Mako knew that too, as she feigned the early lockup and swiftly sidestepped into a quick jab right to Bryan's schnoz.

"Nngh!!" Bryan's head whipped back from the sudden jarring strike and sent the model athlete backpedaling to the nearby ropes. He was still on his feet but clearly stunned from the nose-centered strike that left him wincing and pinching his nose with his back to the sucker punching biker. "Right in the nose, man..." Bryan nasally muttered, stunned from the jab but not enough to prevent him from attempting a retaliatory boot to Mako's abs after turning back to face her.

As expected, punching Bryan in the face was a sublime, dare she say, cathartic, experience. Perhaps even more than Mako could’ve hoped. The way his head whipped back was nice, as was the weird little stifled sound he made, not to mention the moment where he check his pretty boy nose and seemed to realize exactly what sort of fight he was in for. The only way it could’ve been better would be if she’d gotten him to bleed, but the match was young. She’d get there, sooner or later.

”That hurt, gaijin?” She chuckled, a dark laugh under breath, as she took a step back and launched herself forward for another attack, already cocking her fist. Unfortunately, despite her dreams, Bryan was not, in fact, a punching bag, and was perfectly capable of striking back and attacking her. Which he did, and she ran right into.

Mako croaked, a harsh, hoarse noise, as Bryan’s boot sank into her gullet, folding her in half at the impact and making her feet leave the canvas. She had a solid core going on, honed by a tight diet and training regimen, but it wasn’t iron, and his time kick knocked the wind right out of her.

It was her turn to backpedal. She fell to a knee, but quickly pushed back up and stumbled away for a couple of steps, clutching her breadbasket as she made a little retreat.

After taking some time to feel up his nose and make sure nothing had shifted out of place, Bryan swiftly retaliated before Mako could advance on him and try once more to wallop in his handsome mug. The swift punt to Mako's breadbasket perhaps having a little more pepper to it than usual considering the match had just started and she was already targeting his moneymaker. Luckily for Bryan it came at just the right time given that Mako was already charging full steam towards him with only his size ten sneaker to greet her.

"Yeah...nngh, kinda did actually..." Bryan said with a slight groan while doubly checking to make sure face his hadn't been scuffed up. "...but it looks to me like that hurt more." Bryan quipped from seeing Mako huddled over, coughing up a lung, and already making for a hasty retreat after getting a taste of her own sucker-punching medicine.

Seeing Mako moonwalk out of the fight was a clear sign for Bryan to advance and put pressure on the spunky gang leader while he could. Bryan doing just that by stepping up towards Mako and ushering her back towards the corner turnbuckle behind her by pressing his toned body against hers with his forearm against her neck. Not enough to choke her, he hoped, but just enough to keep her pinned there with her head tilted skyward. Hopefully this would curtail any pesky squirming before removing his forearm and going for an open palm knife-edge chop on Mako's decidedly modest but still perky chest.

There were many disadvantages to being short, as Mako could well attest. Not being able to get stuff on the top shelf without a chair, not being able to go on certain rides, being mistaken for a kawaii and having to punch someone in the face because of it. But one of the more annoying things was being demonstrated at this very moment, as Bryan shoved her around the ring with relative ease. When a bigger person wanted to push her in a certain direction, there was rarely anything she could do to stop it from happening.

He wanted her against the ropes, that was what happened. He wanted her pinned to them, she didn’t have the leverage to stop it. He chopped her in the chest, and she had to take it.

That didn’t mean she was just going to lay back and not retaliate, though. Fuck that.

She shrieked as he lit her chest on fire and lurched to the side, hissing and grasping her chest while she leaned against the ropes. That stung. Right to the bone. When Mako turned back a second later, her teeth were bared and her eyes were fiery, burning with pure rage. More so than usual. ”You fuck!”

She spun around and swung her leg in low, coming at him with a swift shin kick, aimed at the side of his knee. Mako threw her hips into the move and threw her arms to the side, getting as much power into the strike as her little body could produce.

Bryan certainly wasn't trying to "offend" the miniature biker gang leader by coming down on her green camouflaged tits with enough force to have even have them jiggle, even despite their B...probably C cup size according to Bryan. He had an experienced eye for those sort of things. Sure it would hurt like a bitch, but it was honestly just a little something that could get Mako stunned and take some of that piss and vinegar out of her. And hopefully keep her docile enough to make her an easy target for whatever offense Bryan could think to keep his momentum going.

He certainly wasn't expecting Mako to look back at him with absolutely murderous intent in her eyes, the model athlete's eyes widening in surprise as he took a second to backpedal a quick step and try and talk some sense into her.

"Hey, take it eas-AH, sunnova!!!" Bryan buckled down from the jarring sidekick to his knee, wincing and bending the leg upward as he propped himself up by grabbing onto the nearby top rope. His attempt at soothing the pint-sized beast going about as smoothly as could be expected, Bryan now having an intense throbbing pain his leg that was keeping him from fully extending it. That didn't stop him from trying though, a noticeable grimace on his handsome mug as he was clearly struggling with the simple motion at the moment...
