Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page
Ah, the sweetest three seconds. Valley came crashing down on Sayumi, landed clean before she could muster any defense, and the crowd had the predictable reaction - a nice, hearty round of applause. She could’ve gone for any sort of move - an elbow drop, a knee drop, a senton. Safer stuff, but she hadn’t gotten to her position by playing it safe. Flips, all day, every day.
The referee was quick to move into position, too, starting up the count along with the audience. One slap. Two slaps. Three-
Nope. Nope.
Valley gasped along with the crowd, as the referee’s hand stopped about halfway, snatching away what would’ve been the quickest win of Valley’s Friction career. It took her a moment to realize what had happened, but a quick twist of her head gave the proper angle to see it. A backbridge, utilizing the head. Impressive neck strength. Innovative, but old school. Valley’s respect for this younger wrestler grew by the second.
”Huh.” She chuckled, not hiding the amusement in her voice one bit. ”You’re a sharp little-”
Her complement was cut short when Sayumi dipped down and shot up, powering her way out of the hold in an impressive burst, one that had more than enough force to toss her off and send her rolling away. Valley flopped over to her back and looked up to see her prey trying to make distance between them. Quick and smart, this one.
Valley popped to her feet and lunged forward with open arms, leaping straight towards Sayumi. Her idea was to snag the woman in a headlock and anchor her down - she could work out the next step later, but keeping control was the top priority.

Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page
Sayumi needed space and she needed it fast. Leaving the ring however was a cowards move, especially this early into a match. While it was the smart move, she wasn't about to burn the fans cheering for her by stooping to such tactics. She dropped back onto her side, with a sharp shift in her weight she rolled herself to gain some space from where Valley had landed.
Stopping on her chest she pushed off the mat, starting to rise to her her hands and knees. She wasn't alone though, the veteran wrestler had pursued and given her no quarter. Valley's weight came down across her back, slamming her back to the canvas with a solid thump that had the audience gasping. Sayumi was trapped beneath her foe in a small daze only to be pulled free of it when two arms clamped around her head with vicelike force.
She let out a long low grunt of pain as her neck was pulled back, cinched further into the hold as Valley pulled her own body up along side Sayumi to apply leverage to the equation. This had all been more than she bargained so early into the match. She felt overwhelmed, outclassed… but that was because Valley was dictating the pace.
Her fingers pawed at the forearm squeezing her head as she struggled to think clearly with with each pulse of pressure interrupting her thoughts. She slowly gathered up her legs beneath her, tucking close, sliding them wide to be a solid foundation. Her hand slipped away from Valley's arm as both of her arms wrapped themselves around the veteran's waist, fighting themselves snuggly around her.
The next crank she received drawing her neck back she threw her weight up with it, thighs flaring as they took on the burden of both women's weight. She lurched backwards quickly kicking one of her knees up to help lift, trying to rip Valley off the mat. She moved to rapidly get to her feet and throw both women backwards, planting the veteran squarely on her shoulders while Sayumi was left to bridge the move in a side suplex.

Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page
Quickly getting on Sayumi wasn’t just an attempt to show off her mat skills - maybe half of that, but not totally. Though they’d only been wrestling a short time, Valley was starting to see some worrying signs, taking into account her opponent’s physique and the way she moved. She was reasonably strong, had a solid figure, a good grasp of the basics , and she had some tenacious fire in those cute eyes of hers.
In short, she reminded Valley of her girlfriend, Silver Ace. A woman she’d never defeated, not even once. A worrying fact.
So far, it wasn’t a problem. So far, she had things under control. But things could change in an instant, and Sayumi proved that in stunning fashion.
”Nope.” Valley shook her head as Sayumi pawed away her arm, and gave her a few good jolts for her efforts. ”Not getting out that easy. So. Just…”
Valley’s taunts came to an end as she realized that her and the mat were suddenly parting ways, as Sayumi began to lift her way up off the mat. It was a startling display of raw power, one that Valley wouldn’t have thought this woman capable of busting out, but she didn’t have the time to applaud. She was a little too busy getting lifted up and over, hurled through the air, and dropped hard on her back, holding her for the pin.
”1…!”
The impact and the surprise were more than enough for a one-count.
”2…!”
And a two-count, but only just that. Valley kicked out, quick and hard, legs shooting straight into the air. The move left Valley shook up and flat on her chest, groaning and shaking her head. She was still relatively fresh, so it wasn’t going to keep her down for too long, but pushing her way back up was a slow, wobbly process.

Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page
Keeping her body bridged from her awkward starting position proved to be a challenge. That impact of Valley against the mat had almost been enough to jostle the veteran loose from Sayumi alone, wrapped arms pulled tighter in an attempt to hold firm. The pin had been a happy side effect to her main goal of survival. She needed to buy herself opportunities to recover and take control a bit. So far Valley had been dictating the match and that was a losing game to play.
She danced on the tip toes of her boots to maintain her balance as each count hit the mat only to have it all shattered at the veteran's sudden kick out. Like a house of cards she crumbled to the mat on her back as her opponent was able to flop to the side unimpeded. Her chest raised and fell as she breathed heavily on the canvas, watching Valley sidelong while trying to get back some of what had been taken from her.
Sayumi had hoped this would have put the veteran down for longer but she was already getting up… with a soft whine she too started to push herself up, still not really ready to lock up again. There was a reason Valley was a former champion, why she had such a long history with this company and beyond. Sayumi had to stop treating this like any other match because it wasn't. Regardless of how friendly the two of them might have been towards one another, it was like being dropped into a shark tank… but this is what she wanted.
She had something to prove. She had come here to wrestle and had become a sideshow. Sure… hentai matches had been fun, especially the ones with her now girlfriend Cicilia and yeah she was good at them… but they weren't why she had come here. This is why she was here and it was time to make sure everyone else knew that. This was the reason she had wanted a hard reset, why she wanted to push past all the hardship she was facing outside the ring to make something of herself inside of it.
She surged to her feet, almost taking a tumble as her balance nearly gave out. She wanted to beat Valley to her feet, had to. If she didn't the match would just keep on going as it had. She didn't bother trying to steady herself, there was no need. She threw her arms up over her head, fingers interlacing as she lunged towards the rising veteran. With a shout she swung her locked fists down trying to slam a double axe handle smash across the other woman’s back to put her back to the mat.

Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page
Age was sort of a weird thing for Valley. It was hard to pin down just how much the years had worn her down - on one hand, she’d improved her cardio in recent years, done a better job of managing her stamina, and she truly felt like she was better off than ever before. But, on the other hand, she couldn’t help but notice that things hurt more than they used to, some of the bones had more creak to them, and there were times when things just felt a little slower.
It wouldn’t be all at once. It wouldn’t be obvious. But age would catch up with her one day, she was sure of it. That was rarely more obvious than this moment, as Sayumi beat her rising up. Not the best sign, but it wasn’t just because of her youth.
Determined. Driven.
She almost laughed when Sayumi stumbled away after her sudden surge, going a little too hard and too fast, but she didn’t have much time to revel in it. Staying on point, Sayumi moved in hard and fast, coming with a clubbing blow to Valley’s back, one that had more than enough force to flatten her again. Sayumi’s wasn’t the biggest woman the Slamazon had ever faced, by a wide margin - she was no Natasha Han, and definitely no Chris Morgan.
”Huh.” Valley grunted and started to push her way back up after a moment, having a tougher time. ”Not bad.”

Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page
Sayumi basically colaspee her weight on top of Valley as she brought me r axehanele smash down, flatterning the veteran out of the floor and nearly going along with her. The Japanese native had caught herself though on one knee, palms pressed to either side of her downed opponent as she let out a small huff.
The other woman still had time to encourage her, which was both nice but also slightly frustrating. She felt like a student being complimented by a teacher who already knew it all and did it all. Was Valley actually taking her serious? It was extremely hard to tell if the veteran was just cool under pressure or just playing with her. She often times believed the best in people, but anxiety and paranoia always looked in her shadow.
“Thanks. How about one better?” Sayumi greeting the rising Valley with open arms, that was until they closed around the other woman. She attempted to hook one around the veteran's head and use the other to slip her opponents arm over the back of her own neck. With a forceful grunt she tried to help heft Valley up, free hand grasping for the lip of the woman's attire at the thigh to grab hold of a fistful of her ring gear.
With a cry, the failed idol hopped in place, landing hard to sure up her stance before heaving backwards, trying to take Valley up off her feet again into a snap vertical suplex. If things went off without a hitch, she would keep the two women locked in place, kicking her legs out to flop them both over so she could go for another directly after!

Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page
The match was young, but Sayumi was already starting to show some signs of being a problematic opponent for Valley. It wasn’t just that she was the younger wrestler, here - though, yes, that was a factor. There was a fresh, crispness to her moves that you only really saw in women that hadn’t been worn down by the ring, and Valley would be lying if she wasn’t a tad envious…
...but that was far from the only, or even the main factor. Sayumi was good at seizing opportunities when they came to her, which was more of a skill than many wrestlers realized. The axe handle was a good example, taking Valley out before she could even think of a counterattack. What came next was an even better example.
Valley had just started to push her way back up when her opponent came in and grasped her close and tight, settling in for a tight headlock. That was a problem in itself, but before she even had a chance to think about slipping free, the Slamazon found herself flying - the world turned upside down, her legs arched through the air, and she came down hard on her back with a textbook snap suplex, one that had the ring shaking.
It hurt. Yes. A lot. Valley cried out at the impact, her body bouncing off the canvas. It was a mixed blessing, though, because it was more than enough to wake her fully up, especially when Sayumi flopped about and started to lift her up, looking to double up.
That was a train that Valley wanted to get off the tracks as soon as possible. As Sayumi rose and started the move up, she brought her leg around and hooked it around her foe’s thigh, using it to anchor her down. With that in place, she tried to throw out a couple of quick punches with her free arm into the lovely idol’s stomach, hoping it would be enough incentive to make her back off.

Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page
This was what she needed, that rush of adrenaline, that unstoppable feeling of momentum as she flowed from move to move. She was finding her rhythm, and that came at the cost of Valley's well being as she snapped the veteran to the mat with a thunderous slam. Grinding down the opposition was always a valid strategy, so when presented with the opportunity to repeat something that was working, she jumped at the chance.
Like any submission hold, you milked what you could get as long as you could before needing to drop it. Etiquette dictated you adhered to breaks and such, which she did, but there was no getting off the suplex train if one couldn't do it themselves so she began to drag Valley up for a second helping.
This time however she found resistance, a hard stop at legs locked together, straining her back as she attempted to power through it on raw .muscle she didn't have. Still, she tried a second time to no avail. No third would come, instead replaced by a repeating fist slamming into her gut, bending her forward into their embrace with each one.
She could take no more, choosing to unwind their bodies and shove them away from one another, an arm curled in close to shelter her battered abdomen as she staggered back in visible pain. She couldn't let up though, wouldn't let up. With two quick steps she closed in again though her movement was sluggish at best. With a quick turn she threw her body forward, kicking up off the mat to throw her backside right at Valley to attempt to toppled with with a less than perfect flying hip attack.

Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page
There was no hiding the sight of relief Valley had when she managed to shut down Sayumi’s little suplex party before it could get off the ground. While she liked this girl quite a bit and could see potential oozing out of the cute little ears of hers, there was no way she was just going to let herself be walked over, and that was precisely what would happen if she let Sayumi continue to have her way. She was good at building momentum, that was clear, and it would sweep Valley away in a hurry.
Thankfully, lock worked. Not only that, but the punches she threw in with served their purpose, not only doing some damage, but creating some separation, forcing them apart. Valley stumbled back, still winded after taking that suplex, even if it was only ⅓ as bad as it would’ve. Her hope twas that Sayumi would be aching too much for a followup, buying her some time to breathe.
As it turned out, no, Sayumi was fresh enough to come at her right away. That didn’t mean she was out of options, though.
There was little time to act, but experience was in Valley’s favor, here - she’d taken enough running hip attacks in her time to recognize the setup. She wouldn’t be fast enough to dodge the move entirely, but she did have enough time to brace her legs, step forward, open her arms, and wrap them around Sayumi’s waist as she flew towards, clutching the younger wrestler around the waist right as she was taking off.
”Gotcha!”
Using Sayumi’s own momentum for a boost, Valley arched her back, lifted her up, and brought her down right on her shoulders for a German Suplex, making sure to keep the hold locked to get a pin attempt out of it.

Re: Sayumi Arai vs. Valley Doll - Turn the Page
She couldn't give Valley any ground, doing so would put them back on an even playing field… which in her mind meant she was at a disadvantage. That meant aggression, any and every opportunity. She had hoped to be able to clock the veteran, get her back on the ground long enough for a solid rest hold. Worse case scenario she would miss and plop onto her backside, right?
Wrong.
She felt the lack of solid impact, instead having arms clutch themselves round her body. She didn't stop as she should have though, her body was still going, snapped down into the mat with a quaking slam. Her body folded up, legs dangling over her head as she remained limp within the bridged suplex, still on the mat.
"One!"
Sayumi's body shook lightly, a poor attempt to force herself to unfurl from her accordion state. The suplex had caught her completely off guard, leaving her battered on the mat and short of breath. Her mind was a disjointed mess, the room swirling above her. She wasn't exactly sure what had happened, but when she tried to roll to one side or the other she found her body stuck in place, locked in this uncomfortable position.
"Two!"
"Uurgh!" Sayumi threw up an arm, twisting her body enough to raise up onto one of her shoulders. Her back burned with the unnatural jerk of her form, it has been enough to break the pin, but not enough to free her from where she had been planted. The Japanese native let out a cry, kicking her legs out wildly to try and tip the two women over to free her from Valley.
Wrong.
