Megumi Mutoh vs. Belinda Northman - Breaking Through the Limit

Hitting Belinda at her sides, Megumi managed to stop the Swede from setting her up into a finishing move, and she would try to take this opportunity to straighten herself up. She panted, her entire body aching from everything that she had taken. But she refused to slow down, and she couldn't afford to do so considering that she was presented with an opportunity to finish her opponent off while the two of them were on the table.

Straightening herself up, Megumi would try to stun Belinda a bit more by grabbing her by her shoulders before driving her knee into her abs, hoping to knock the wind out of her. Then, she planned to hoist her up as she would bend her knees slightly, looking to get her onto her shoulders, putting her into a fireman's carry while she was still standing on the table. She was planning to drive Belinda head first into the table with a death valley driver, breaking through the table at the same time.

Megumi hammered away at the sides of Belinda until the blond couldn't keep a hold of her red clad opponent anymore, she groaned and winced as she head to back away from Megumi, but the second she did so the Combat Genius shot up and drove her knee into Belinda's abs! Taking the blond by surprise and forcing a good deal of air out of her lungs, it caused her to gasp out and start to cough.

Leaving her in prime position for what Megumi had next, the former Wrestle Angel grabbed at her arm and pulled the blond up onto her shoulders. Belinda shook her head and was about to start to struggle, but she was too late. Thrown down head first through the table as Megumi drove her down with that nasty Death Valley Driver onto the table they were standing on. Slamming Belinda through the table and down into the floor underneath it for a sickening impact, a breathless and soundless gasp escaped Belinda's mouth before her mind went blank.

The table broken...

The referee was quick to move in and call for the bell!

The downside of driving her opponent through the table with a death valley driver while standing on top of said table was that it would also affect her afterwards, and sure enough, Megumi's entire body was screaming in agony as her body also went through the wrecked table before both her and Belinda ended up on the floor. For a while, everything went blurry and the noises became muted for a few seconds before colors and sounds slowly returning to her senses.

Hearing the bell, Megumi knew that the match had ended with her victory. Due to her current condition, she didn't make any effort to pick herself up and she remained in the rubble with Belinda as the paramedics rushed towards them to check on their conditions.

Belinda laid on her back in a heap with Megumi half way lying on top of her, her chest heaved as she could only really breathe. The battle between her and Megumi had been a grueling back and forth, like few matches that the blond had been in...she was pretty sure she had lost, since the last thing she remembered before her world as painted black was Megumi hoisting her up.

Groaning a little and shaking her head weakly, Belinda's started to open her eyes, she didn't want to move...not yet at least. All she could think of was getting a shower, going to bed for the next two days or so...then getting back to training so she'd be ready to defeat Megumi next time they'd clash!...for now though, she'd rest, even if it was underneath Megumi's frame...

Lying haphazardly in the rubble of the table that was broken after driving Belinda through it, Megumi let the paramedics checked her, feeling one of them shining a penlight into her eye. She made a signal that she was okay, at least mostly okay. She was then helped up by some of them before the referee came over to her, raising her arm to declare her the winner of this match.

Still, Megumi was unable to stay on her feet on her own for long, and she ended up being supported by the paramedics. She would look at Belinda as the paramedics checked on her, and she hoped that she was okay after being driven through the table.

The paramedics soon started to check on Belinda, after they had checked on Megumi and the referee had declared her the winner. They checked her response to light with a penlight, much like they did for Megumi, and it seemed as if she was okay. After a bit of aid, she was pulled up to a seated position. Her head was killing her and her body was feeling numb but with some aid she managed to get up to her feet.

She was then aided in leaving the arena as one arm was draped over one of the paramedics shoulders and they helped support the blond as they walked up the ramp.
