Megumi Mutoh vs. Belinda Northman - Breaking Through the Limit

Pushing Belinda away after freeing herself from the hammerlock, Megumi would regain her bearing as she would keep her eyes on her opponent. It seemed that the Swede was prepared to get into a grapple with her again, and the Combat Genius was happy to oblige as she would close in so that she could lock up with the blonde. But, as she drew herself closer, she ended up taking a knee strike into her gut, causing her to gasp out in pain.

"Aughh!!"

Doubling over from the strike, Megumi then ended up getting her head grabbed by Belinda who then proceeded to fall back, looking to bring her head first into the mat with a DDT. Acting quick, Megumi would bring up both her arms, hoping that she would be able to cushion her fall with her arms. "Nghhh!!" While she still could feel the impact, at the very least her arms would absorb the damage, which would prevent her from being stunned. From there, she would try to pull her head out to regain her bearing again.

The knee to Megumi's gut was enough to stun her and it gave the blond more than enough time to drive that head of Megumi Mutoh into the canvas next as she pulled off a DDT. Though she did notice how Megumi had been able to bring her arms in front of her head, so it was a bit of a cushioned impact. That was a veteran of the ring for you. Belinda would push up to her knees and look out over the frame of the auburn haired wrestler.

Deciding to take the advantage while she could, Belinda would quickly try and roll Megumi over onto her front and pin her down against the mat by grabbing at her shoulders and pushing them down. As she did, she would slide over and seat her rear down on top of Megumi's firm butt. Trying to then pull Megumi back up and bend that back as she tried to pull the red clad woman's arms over her knees!

The hands of Belinda would then move up to be under the chin of Megumi Muoth! Trying to lock in the Combat Genius into a Camel Clutch submission hold where Belinda could start to wrench on the pressure by pulling backwards!

Despite the fact that she managed to use her arms to cushion the impact from the DDT, it still left Megumi disoriented as well as with sore arms. While the damage wasn't too bad, this was enough for Belinda to put her into a position where she ended up on her stomach. Shaking her head to get rid of the headache from the cushioned DDT earlier, Megumi then felt the weight of her opponent on her rump, and she realized what the Swede was planning to do.

Sadly, due to her still disoriented, Megumi was unable to stop Belinda from setting her up into the camel clutch, and she grimaced in pain as her head was pulled back, with Belinda's hands clutching under her chin. "Nnnghhh... ngrrrhhh..." Groaning out in pain, she would start moving her legs, looking to press her knees against the canvas in her attempt to push herself up. With Belinda's weighing her down, such effort would be difficult, but she would try regardless of the difficulty.

Belinda knew that against a foe like Megumi Mutoh she'd have to give everything she had from the get go, not that she didn't against any other opponent, but in this case there was no worth in even testing what the veteran was capable off. She would therefore drop down and lock her up in that camel clutch, pulling those arms up over her knees and hooking them up, and then locked her hands underneath the chin of Megumi!

Trapping her opponent she quickly begun to pull back, trying to torture the auburn haired wrestler with the nasty Camel Clutch! She would feel Megumi struggle, pushing her knees against the canvas and slowly aiming to push herself up, the blond knew that she wouldn't be able to hold Megumi for long....

Trapped in the camel clutch, Megumi was having a trouble at the moment with Belinda clutching onto her chin and pulling her head back. Her arms were also draped over the blonde's knees, which made it hard for her to push the Swede off of her. Knowing that she couldn't afford to remain in the hold, the Combat Genius decided to make use of what she had at the moment as she would raise her lower half, her butt sticking up into the air in her effort to get herself onto her knees while still having Belinda seated on her back.

From there, she would muster her strength into her legs, and once she was on her knees, she would try to throw herself to the side, looking to throw Belinda off of her, thus releasing herself from the camel clutch. She wasn't sure if it could succeed or not, but at this point, it was the only way for her to escape this hold and continue the fight.

With Megumi Mutoh trapped in her camel clutch, Belinda had to try and crank up as much pressure on the Combat Genius as she could, while she could. The longer she was able to drain Megumi in this hold the better, but the Auburn haired veteran was already starting to find a way upwards, pushing herself up to her knees she started to guide herself up little by little.

She was starting to lift Belinda upwards and when she was straight on her knees, Megumi threw herself to the side, throwing Belinda down with her as she hit the canvas. Releasing a soft grunt, the Swede would quickly release Megumi Mutoh and roll away, rolling up onto her knees as she would turn to look on at Megumi. The Combat Genius was starting to live up to her namesake at least...narrowing her eyes, Belinda would start to slowly push herself up towards her feet.

Slowly, Megumi got back up onto her feet before throwing Belinda off of her, which released her from the camel clutch from the Swede. Huffing, Megumi shook her head as she regained her footing. Seeing Belinda rising back up onto her feet after being thrown off, the Combat Genius would try to take advantage of this, closing in towards the blonde, looking to grab her by her body, making sure that she was on her feet before attempting to nail a knee strike right into her gut, looking to knock some wind out of her lungs.

And right after that, Megumi planned to deliver a series of strikes, first a forearm smash to the upper part of her chest, followed with a kick to her side. Then, she would finish the combo with a spinning backfist across her face, hoping that those strikes would deal some damage on her opponent, giving her an upper hand in this match.

The two of them were now up on their feet, inching their way closer and closer to one another, yet as Belinda was winding up to throw a strong strike towards Megumi, the Combat Genius acted quicker, closing in and getting in between Belinda's guard, driving her knee up into the gut of the blond!

The Swede would cough out, as her Japanese opponent would next throw a series of strikes to follow the knee strike. First smacking her forearm into Belinda's chest which forced the blond to stagger back a step, grunting out from the impact and then that kick to her side which almost caused her to buckle! Then came the final strike! That spinning backfist, as Megumi's backhand smacked across the Swede's head...taking her off of her feet and sending her down onto her back in a daze....

Hitting Belinda with a series of strikes before finishing it off with a spinning backfist to her head, Megumi managed to bring Belinda down onto the mat. Whipping her hair back, Megumi flashed the Swede a confident smile before she ran towards the ropes, looking to rebound from them and return back to where Belinda was so that she could execute a perfect running moonsault, hitting her with a splash.

Because this wasn't a normal match, Megumi didn't pin Belinda down. She would get back up, making sure that Belinda stayed down as she would walk towards the edge of the ring, slipping out of the ring and hopping off of the apron. She would pull up the curtain covering the apron, looking to pull out a table from under the ring. From there, she would start setting up the first table in the match, preparing herself to use it on Belinda later.

The sudden rush of strikes had taken Belinda off guard and with that spinning backfist sent her back down onto the canvas, a bit groggy as she would shake her head a little. It seemed as if Megumi wasn't done just yet though, as she took to the ropes and jumped off of them! Coming crashing down on Belinda's frame and flattening her against the canvas, forcing a gasp out of the young Northman! " Guh!" as she was hit by that lionsault!

She would curl up and roll onto her side, hugging her midsection as she was deprived of air after taking the full weight of Megumi down on her, unable to do much than cough and try and get air back in her lungs as Megumi went out of the ring and started to set up a table.
