Thunder Ryuko Vs. Megumi Mutoh

Tonight seemed to be an interesting battle to say the least. Thunder Ryuko had had encounters before with Megumi Mutoh. She couldn't say they were friends or even rivals, but she had a great deal of respect for someone like Megumi who had thrown herself into the deep end of wrestling from the start and still managed to do well. There was a reason why she was known as the Combat Genius. However, despite the respect she had for Megumi, or perhaps because she had such respect for the youngling, she had decided preemptively that she was going to go into this match with the same sort of mindset that she'd do with the likes of Mighty Yukiko or Beauty Ichigaya.

Meaning she would hold nothing back, and go into this match expecting a match where her chances of losing was high. That way she'd fight all that harder to win. Thunder Ryuko stood at the Gorilla Position as she would tighten her boots, making sure her outfit was aligned. It would be her second match since her return her to Friction and from what she had heard it was the same for Megumi Mutoh. Two rusty Angels, back into the ring....Ryuko Yoshida supposed it was a good thing that rusty Angels were still counted as the cream of the crop

Beastful by Grandrodeo would start to play out of the speakers, and after a crack of lighting struck the top of the stage did the Thunder Ryuko arrive out onto the stage. The Rising Dragon taking to the stage as she would jog down the ramp. Heading up to the ring and jumping up onto the apron, grabbing the top ropes of the ring, she would vault over the ropes and into the squared circle, landing on one knee in what many would call the 'Hero landing' pose. She rose to her feet and walked around the ring before she would raise her right arm as a fist, which got her quite the pop from the crowd. Nodding her head before she'd start to back up and lean against her corner. All that was left was to wait for the Combat Genius.

This would be her second match here in AFW since her return, and Megumi thought that it's only a matter of time before she got herself pitted against a fellow Angel as well. Tonight, she would be fighting Thunder Ryuko, and they had their own encounters in the past, mostly during their time in Wrestle Angels. She also considered her a colleague at best, having no strong opinion towards her, but she certainly knew that Ryuko wasn't one to be underestimated. So, Megumi planned to bring her A-game for this match, and leave the ring as the victor, like she always did.

As her music entrance, Golden Nocturne, was played, Megumi made her way out of the gorilla position to the ramp, where she was greeted by the cheers of the crowd. Waving her hand, she would then jog down the ramp, heading over to the ring where Ryuko was already waiting for her. Clad in her red shoulderless leotard as usual, she approached the ring before she got herself up the apron, slipping under the ropes to enter the squared circle. She pointed to one direction to get some reactions from the crowd, and that earned her quite a huge pop from her fans.

Megumi Mutoh:

Now that she was in the ring, Megumi turned around and faced Ryuko. Smiling confidently, she put her hand on her waist as she looked at the other woman. She certainly didn't change at all, Megumi thought to herself. "Well, it's been a while, Ryuko. Let see what you got this time..." she said confidently to her opponent for this match. The referee would come over to them, checking whether they had no concealed weapon in their outfits before the bell was called, officiating the match.

With that, the match started. Megumi would take a stance as she would inch closer and closer towards Ryuko, holding out a hand, offering her a contest of strength. At the same time, her eyes would focus on Ryuko's body, observing her movement.

Ryuko nodded her head when Megumi turned towards her and spoke, she couldn't help but think back to the good old days of Wrestle Angel, when she was able to square off against a lot of fellow wrestlers, there was more of a respectful attitude in that old era.

Though now that she was face to face with Megumi again, that confidence of the combat genius was shining through, the adorable cockiness of the red clad fighter. Thunder Ryuko walked up a few steps to the center of the ring so that the referee could check her out.

When the match was agreed to start, the bell rang. " I might be a bit rusty, but should be enough to give you a fight." Ryuko joked. When she saw Megumi raise her hand for that test of strength, the Goddess of Rebellion would shrug her shoulders and step forward, clasping hands together with Megumi Mutoh as she would give them a moment to settle into the test of strength, before she'd try and start bearing down her great strength to try and force Megumi down onto her knees.

As the bell rang, both Megumi and Ryuko got into a contest of strength. As Megumi tried to ascertain her fellow Angel's strength, she began to feel that she was being pushed down by her opponent. Grunting, she would try to fight back as Ryuko was about to overpower her in this contest of strength. It seemed that in terms of physical prowess, Megumi got herself beaten by Ryuko.

But, she was called the Combat Genius for a reason. As she was about to be forced down onto her knees, Megumi would try to twist around, looking to transition the lock up into something else instead. Hoping to use Ryuko's strength against her, Megumi would try to push her opponent onto her knees instead as she would try to twist her arm behind her, looking to put her in a hammerlock.

Thunder Ryuko smirked a little as she felt how she was pushing and forcing Megumi down more and more with each passing second, it was clear that she was still stronger than the fellow brunette fighter. Though she knew that Megumi was a tricksy fighter, not one who would cheat or the like, but she had very clever ways of turning the tide.

Which she would show off right away, as she began to twist the arm of the black leotard clad woman, as the Goddess of Rebellion would feel that arm over her being wrenched around by Megumi. Being forced down onto her knees along with Megumi, the bigger fighter would try and throw her head backwards. Aiming to smack the back of her head into Megumi Mutoh's face.

Locking Ryuko in the hammerlock, Megumi would try to apply pressure in said hold, but her fellow Angel seemed to know how to find a way out of this as she threw her head back, smacking the back of her head into Megumi's face. "Augh!" Megumi grunted as she took the hit, though she managed to lessen the blow at the last second, pulling her head back and releasing Ryuko from the hammerlock.

Staggering back, Megumi would then regain her footing, rubbing her face a little as she kept her focus on her opponent. Of course it wouldn't be easy for her to keep Ryuko locked in the hold. After all, she was the Goddess of Rebellion, not some kind of no-name jobber. Still, the prospect of beating Ryuko in this match brought a smile on Megumi's face as she prepared herself for another lock up with her.

Thundery Ryuko was quick to rise and turn to face Megumi after she had freed herself from that hammerlock, she would watch as Megumi rubbed her own face. She watched as the red clad wrestler would ready herself up for another lock up, but the brunette would duck in close.

Trying to charge in and duck under those arms of Megumi, attempting to tackle those legs out from under Megumi as she would attempt and get the woman down onto her back and straddle the abs of the fellow Wrestle Angel. Attempting to ready up her fists to start throwing punches aimed down on Megumi's pretty face and chest for some good old fashioned ground and pound strategy.

Megumi expected to lock up with Ryuko again, but much to her surprise, her fellow Wrestle Angels alumnus ducked under her arms before she tackled her legs, causing the Combat Genius to fall backwards. "Waah!!" She yelped before she hit the mat with her back. "Urgh!" Now that she was on her back, she would try to quickly push herself back up, but Ryuko managed to get herself on top of her before she could manage to do so, pinning her down on the mat.

Sensing what was coming next, Megumi would bring her arms up, attempting to block those strikes that Ryuko launched at her. But she could only shield her face with her arms, leaving her chest exposed. "Urghh! Mrrghh!!" While she managed to block the punches aimed to her face, she was unable to protect her chest, which left her winded and unable to launch a counterattack. She needed to find a way to escape this predicament, or else she would be in a huge disadvantage.

Thunder Ryuko sent her fists down like lighting strikes upon Megumi's pretty features and while the Combat Genius was able to prevent her face from being peppered by the thunder strikes, the brunette was able to pound her fellow brunette's generous breasts. She continued this barrage for a few moments before it would come to an abrupt end.

Reaching down to grab at Megumi's wrists instead, she would try and then push down on those arms and look to pin her fellow Wrestle Angels veteran down against the canvas, trying to scoot up and seat herself on that chest, knees over those arms and shoulders as her crotch would be right by Megumi's chin. Trying to pin the red leotard clad woman down with a simple school girl pin!

Winded after taking a barrage of punches into her chest, Megumi was left gasping for air, feeling her breasts sore after all those intense pummeling from Ryuko. And after she finished dealing all those punches on her, Ryuko then made her next move by pinning down both Megumi's hands on the mat before she moved up, sitting on her sore chest. In that position, Ryuko's crotch was under Megumi's chin as she was put in a schoolgirl pin. At the same time, the referee came over and started counting for the pin.

"ONE!"

In desperation, Megumi would try to summon her strength to break the pin, and with a growl, she would shake her upper body, lifting her shoulder off of the mat, thus breaking the pin. She also kicked her legs out to ensure that the pin was clearly broken.

"Hrghh..." Groaning, Megumi would try to buck Ryuko off of her. "G-get off..." She tried twisting her body while she was still under her, hoping to get the leotard-clad wrestler off of her, throwing her aside.
