Tension Rookie Tournament: Alice Gaster vs Camilia Espinosa

Romero Special, or Surfboard Stretch, was an incredibly powerful move that caused a lot of damage on your opponent, on the trade off of relying on your physical strength in needing to keep your foe overhead to do said damage. Alice has been in the hold a few times courtesy of her sister, and she knew how to survive the hold for a while...

...but it was getting more and more difficult to do that.

Biting on her lip, she viciously shook her head at the ref, refusing to give up, awaiting the moment Camilia would finally let go...

Strain, that was in her mind, the expression she had on her face as it began to take hold. Her body was pulling at itself as she tried to hang onto her surfboard stretch. It didn’t help that her body still hurt from the earlier impacts from the small Brit. She expected Alice to at least consider giving in but no. That little head shook declaring she would keep going.

Camilia has to give her some respect for wanting to hold on and fight but it was a bit inconvenient. She knew she couldn’t hold this much longer. The pain began to radiate with the slight burning of her straining muscles, without much warning, she’d let their arms go first, outstretching her legs to send them a fair distance forward for closure.

She’d pant softly as she laid on her back, pulling her legs free from the pale rider before pulling herself up. Guess Alice needed a little more incentive to stay down.

After a good minute in the hold, Camilia finally gave in, releasing her arms as Alice landed at Camilia's side, as the two women untangled their legs.

Holding her sore back, Alice would still cringe in pain, dragging herself towards the ropes to get herself to her feet. If she was able to, she'd turn herself towards the Latina, who would stand up slightly earlier than she did.

If Camilia were to approach her, Alice would respond with a hard boot to her gut, trying to buy some more time to recover from Romero Special...

With her prey freed, she’d get to her feet, too much was riding on this and here she was panting like some weak animal. Alice seemed ripe for the picking still recovering from the Romero special she could easily take them for another ride.

As she closed in, the pale girl had planned on it, a sudden sharp pain burst from her stomach only for a boot to be found in its place. She’d bend forward, covering her stomach as she lightly coughs. Air forced out of her lunges now leaving her open, she’d attempt to back peddle but the space she was able to make was limited.

Camilia found herself in trouble, Alice had a chance to take everything the bull had managed up until now and push her back to square one. She couldn’t let that happen, not now!

Alice took just 2 more seconds for the pain in her back to dissipate, yet not completely disappear. With Camilia reeling from her kick to her gut, Alice was fully intending to get the momentum of the match back on her side.

Grabbing at her rival's head, she would grab Latina's head under her arm...before twisting the woman and dropping her straight onto her neck for a Screw Neckbreaker!

She struggled to remain in her feet, the pain in her gut from such a fierce boot was a lot to handle right now. No matter what though, no one could call Alice weak, that was for sure. If this wasn’t a pro match she’d give them a compliment for sure on that fact but she couldn’t muster the words even if she wanted to. Her legs began to wobble as she took a step back but the Brit wasn’t going to let her escape.

Suddenly they were upon her, grabbing hold of her head, pulling it under her arm. She presses her hand against their stomach to brace but it wasn’t a duplex they were going for. Her eyes widen as she’s turned backward, her neck in their grasp before being sent to the mat in a heap onto her neck.

The Latina crumbled onto the mat, her body laid spread eagle as she gasped for air. Her body began to ache as her neck kinked from the fierce neck breaker. She was definitely going to need a minute to recover.

With Camilia lying prone on the canvas, cringing in pain, Alice knew she had enough time to try out a very risky move. She quickly climbed to the top rope, aimed for the Latina's body...

...and jumped off, spinning backwards in the air, and aiming her body for her rival for a Shooting Star Press!

Camilia was finding it hard to concentrate, her world in a foggy daze from the aching pain reverberating from her neck. The pain trickled down her spine, into her stomach and back up again in a vicious cycle. Trying to move didn’t seem like the best idea but she couldn’t see Alice, in her state, panic began to take over as doom loomed close.

It wasn’t until a dark ness overshadowed her from above did she realize where the Brit had gone. The next few moments passed like hours until finally BAM!

The collision with her gut forced her body to bend inward with the force. Oxygen forced out harshly as she chokes on her breaths, coughing as she groans from the unexpected pain growing in her core. She turns to her side, curling up to soothe her pain but the back and forth of her neck and stomach rebounds sending new painful signals up and down her body in tangent.

With Camilia as hurting as she was...as well as the impact of the move doing a bit of damage to the smaller woman as well, Alice would immediately try to go for the kill, hooking Latina's leg as she tried to pin her for the 3!

"ONE!"

Her stomach was in shock from the impact of the small Brit. Her body shooting signals every which way, down and up, side to side, Camilia was feeling faint from it all. If anything, she’d give Alice strength the respect it deserved but that wouldn’t save them. No, she wasn’t in control anymore, her anger had gotten the best of her even while she was down. The pale rider had triggered this, now they were going to eat it.

Her body was still unresponsive to the Bull’s demands, it wasn’t until she felt them hook her leg did a sense of urgency wash over her frame. The referee was quick to count, the first didn’t even register as her mind began to fixate on her predicament.

Two!”

Her free leg shifts inward, she wouldn’t let herself be taken out like this, not to mention what was riding on this. Just before the ref could even utter the third count, Camilia pushed up with her free leg, sharply throwing her body to the side to toss the Brit away. If she managed to actually throw Alice off of her, she’d roll into her hands and knees, the red’s of her eyes shining with fury as she reaches out for her rival.
