Alexa’s leg came up easily, nothing more than dead weight as it was cinched in tightly, the cherry on top of the full covered pin. Save for the shall gasping breaths, she had little more to offer Remi in the way of resistance in body or spirit. The weight of her opponent was crushing now that she was left without air feeling as though any of the insignificant amounts she took in wouldn't be enough. It was strange and otherworldly, almost as if she was drowning.

She could hear the claps of the referee’s hand to the mat, somewhere deep inside her mind she understood what they meant. Right now, it was a blur, she couldn't make sense of it. So she remained down, pressed firmly beneath her opponent will the weakest of squirming struggles, all she could manage.

“Three!”

Just like that, it was over. She could hardly make heads or tails of what was happening. The bell had been enough though, she understood things had ended and her struggles ceased entirely. Alexa rested the back of her head on the mat, closing her eyes. Defeated… again. Had she the air to do so she would have screamed.

And that's her win. At the count of three, Remi knew that she had defeated her opponent. She could just get up and taunt the girl for losing to her and rub it to her face. But after what she did earlier, she didn't feel like doing it. Despite everything, Remi had standards, and winning after doing such a cheap tactic left quite a bad taste in her mouth.

So, Remi got back up, giving Alexa one last look before she twirled around, looking to leave her in the middle of the ring. She didn't feel like celebrating her victory over her. While it's good that she got another win under her belt, she would prefer to win it cleanly.

She would head over to the ropes and prepared to slip through them, exiting the ring as she planned to leave the arena. She was showered in a mixture of cheers and boos from the crowd, and she didn't pay them any attention.

She was trying to mentally prepare, body still shaking from the steady but inadequate intake of air once Remi rose off her. She thought for certain the woman would gloat, perhaps even try to dig a heel in. While Alexa's banter early match had been rather good natured, it was hard to tell if her opponent had taken it in stride or had been genuinely ticked off at her.

Nothing came, much to her surprise. She opened an eye, squinting from the bright lights cast down on her from above. Her other eye opened, both blinking into focus the figure of Remi walking away from her. With a groan she made to rise, a show of final strength even in defeat.

A searing pain immediately paralyzed her, abdoman screaming in protest as the sore muscles ached from the finishing blow. She reached out with a hand, grasping at the air to will herself up but found her body unable to comply. With one last determined grunt, she dropped back to the mat with a long exhale, exhausted.

The brunette turned her head, frowning as she watched Remi go. Thankful the end hadn't been made worse while she was vulnerable, but oddly insulted. Had she not been worth the time? We're her own efforts so terrible that Remi I would just dismiss her like this? She felt conflicted, but ultimately dispointee in herself above all things. She would have to begrudgingly watch this match back to see where she went so wrong.
