Brave Yuko vs. Sonic Knight - Heroes of Light and Dark

The hero smiled gently upon her fallen foe, watching as the dark knight slowly reached out her hand. Despite the trails and tribulations that led to this point, despite the mounting pressure that defined their honest quarrel, Brave Yuko found herself unable to deny the adamant gleam of hope in Sonic’s eyes. Feelings of moments from her past victories swept over her, but not for the battle she’d just won. The emotion was deeper. Rooted.

Like a sword in the wind, the feeling was cut swiftly down as the dark heroine retracted her arm away. Yuko’s eyes widened with a sudden surprise and a slight flinch. Her gaze turned solemn and fleeting. All she could do was watch her opponent leave, just managing to glimpse to the burning conviction behind her resigned gaze.

“The deeper the dark, the stronger thine light, Sonic Knight.” The hero murmured to no one in particular. Throwing her gaze back to the audience, Brave Yuko moved to exit the ring with a long flourish of her arm in the air. With a daring hop over the top rope, the heroine landed squarely on two feet and made her triumphant walk towards the top of the ramp. Her long scarf billowing behind her, Yuko disappeared behind the curtain and, clear from the audience’s sight, took off into a run as quickly as possible to the nearest save point.
