Lucia Lynch vs. Peggy McIntyre

Peggy was beyond frustrated as her assault fizzled and was a dud, ending with her being tossed aside, rolling away from Lucia without doing much of any damage to the woman. "Damned shit...." Peggy grumbled less upset at Lucia and more upset at herself for coming up so short.

Peggy stumbled up to her feet, trying to move back towards Lucia who was also up. Peggy lunged in trying to close the gap quickly and wrap the woman up in a grapple!

Lucia climbed to her feet to stand opposite of Peggy, looking almost as frustrated as the redhead. She had put a lot of work in on the woman yet she just kept on going. She shuffled a step or two back, putting up her fists in a tight protective stance. She wasn't going to let the woman come in on her again, not like she had stupidly done before. Her golden eyes flickered over Peggy, franticly looking for any hint of how she was going to come at her next... There!

Lucia dipped to the side, wincing at the tight movement as it twisted at her sore body. She slipped past the woman's lunging grapple, swinging an arm low to hammer a left hook up into the girls chest from the side, trying to knock her upright. If she managed to get her standing straight, she threw her weight into a hard right cross towards the girl's head, following through completely, she pivoted sharply on her heel, spinning herself around in a quick lethal spin to deliver a roundhouse to the back of Peggy's dome.

Peggy lunged in and felt a sharp pain in her side and then a fast punch to the face! Peggy groaned as she readied herself to step in and swing at Lucia.

The kick hammered her skull, a weak yelp of pain escaping her lips as she fell lifelessly to the mat on her stomach, her backside trembling as she landed motionless on the canvass.

Peggy looked dead, plain and simple.

Lucia felt the impact as her fist buried itself into Peggy putting her just where she wanted. The hard cross to the face cracked the woman with a cringe worthy sound to accompany the blistering fire running through her knuckles from striking bone almost entirely bare fisted. She was already in motion, it was too late to stop now as she whirls around and leveled Peggy with a kick hard enough she could imagine taking the woman's head clean off. It seemed to have done its job as the formidable redhead collapsed onto the floor in a lifeless heap.

Lucia found her footing as she stood beside the downed woman, fists raised as she waited for a brief moment for a sign of movement. Peggy had been almost like a cockroach throughout the match, impossible to actually put down. Now, here? Everything was still. Even the crowd had gone quiet. Lowering her hands she dropped to her knees down next to Peggy, slipping her hands under her limp body to roll her onto her back.

As the woman unfolded onto the canvas it was pretty clear, at least she o Lucia she was out cold. Her body was completely loose, her head especially just bobbed with the force of being turned. It was time to finish this. She lowered herself down over Peggy, gingerly as to not compress the woman's chest. She didn't know how hurt she might be. With a hand on her shoulder, and an arm to hook her leg she looked towards the referee to make the count.

"One!"

She glanced down to the unconscious Peggy. She looked so much more peaceful when she wasn't a raging ball of fists and suplexes. Seeing her like this, she almost felt bad for having hit her so hard.

"Two!"

"THREE!"

Peggy was still limp, unaware that she lost. It would be a few moments before she would wake up, laid out as the crowd was cheering her foe. She had lost enough matches to know what that meant.

Peggy knew it had been at least some time since she was last conscious. She could only imagine the show the caucus howling actress.... an actress with little wrestling experience who had beaten her.... was putting on.

Peggy didn't want to stick around. She gathered her strength, weakly rolling towards the ropes, continuing underneath to the outside in hopes that no one wpuld notice her making a humiliated exit with her tail between her legs. She landed hard, stumbled forward a few steps and stumbled to her hands and knees. She meekly crawled a shot distance before the woman with blurred vision crumpled again onto her side. Peggy didn't know what say of the week it was as medical staff came down to loom at her, signaling that it was a concussion immediately.

The only thing Peggy knew was that in her life's work to wrestle in Japan to prove that McIntyre women weren't pushover jobbers she had done nothing but reinforce that very fact of late. She spent her last 4 years around the ring only to lose to a singer and actress in convincing fashion. She was the weak link on her tag team, credited with holding Alaina back as the inferior partner.

The only thought Peggy could focus on as she was helped to the back unable to move on her own was questioning if she belonged in the ring at all.

The crowd was counting along with each count, volume rising with each successive number. Once the final count came, the crowd exploded into a uproarious cheers littered with howls from her old fans and far more from newly made ones. She had remained quiet, sober in victory over Peggy. She hadn't really been in many matches yet, not a whole lot of experience under her belt when it came to wrestling, but she knew the woman had put up quite a fight. She laid the woman's leg back out as she rose up to stand beside the referee. With th bell rang and her declared the victor this was her time to celebrate.

She threw up an arm, lacking her usual theatrics as she leaned over to whisper her concerns to the referee. She didn't want the fans to know what was going on, last thing she wanted was for people to jump on this. There were a lot of people following her career, fans wouldn't hesitate to make Peggy's defeat at her hands a big deal. Blogs, discussions, news articles. While she was washed up in the states as an actress, she was still a big enough deal here in Japan.

The medical staff was called for, but by the time Lucia turned to glance back to Peggy she was already rolling off. It was an encouraging sight, until shortly after she collapsed at ringside. The lone wolf jogged over to the ropes, peering down at the screen quietly as the paramedic team took over. The referee came to stand beside her as Peggy was tended to. She had waited for the Irish woman to be brought to the bavk before making her own way. The referee had been nice enough to assure her the redhead would be fine, even congratulated her on an upset victory. With a soft thank you, she made her way out waving to the audience to keep up appearances until she was back behind the curtain.
