Cross Promotional Tag Match: Akamatsu' s vs. Irish Amazons

Kyo felt sweat run down his forehead to his nose as his palms pressed to the mat. Despite the aches and protests of his body, Kyo managed to shove himself upright, getting to his knees. He swayed uneasily, but kept standing, breathing deeply as he knelt upright, slowly rising to his feet as he did so. 

"NINE!"

Makie, meanwhile, huffed furiously, breathing hard as she grabbed one rope, then another. Eventually, she managed to get her boots underneath her-- gritting her teeth, she pulled her unresponsive body up on the ropes, straining against her own exhaustion as she eventually managed to haul herself upright. Her body shone with sweat as she leaned on the ropes, barely able to stand but still trying to at this point.

Alaina was up and so was Kyo. She zeroed in on him knowing that she couldn't allow herself to quit or stop. She had to keep going and keep trying to take the fight to him. Alaina stood on her own and lumbered over to Kyo. Alaina wanted to try to keep it simple, and as soon as Kyo moved towards her she was going to try to spring forward and extend her arm to clothesline him right back down to the mat!

Peggy opted to keep trying to recover, and to let Alaina do the heavy lifting at the moment. She wanted to make sure she was ready if Alaina needed her. Peggy wasn't going to let her down again tonight.

Kyo was in bad shape: he knew it with every ache of his muscles, every throb in his bones, every part of him that just wanted to lie down for a few seconds. He had to keep going, he thought to himself as he locked eyes with the Amazon...just before Alaina exploded into movement, running at him with a clothesline. instinct took over, and Kyo ducked, dropping low to hammer a shoulder into Alaina before she could hit with the clothesline, hoping to propel her onto her back and grab her wrists for a quick pinfall attempt.

Makie, meanwhile, remained slumped against the ropes, breathing hard and sweating as she remained on the sidelines, content to stay so for now...watching the fight, in case Kyo needed help, and more importantly, watching Peggy, glaring across at the Irish girl...

Alaina ran in and her own momentum was part of her undoing! She felt the shoulder hammer her, knocking the wind out of her! She groaned as she crumpled to the mat with Kyo on top of her! She was laid out and Kyo was right on top of her as the pin count began!

"ONE!"

Alaina tried to thrust a shoulder up but her wrists were held and her arm movement was very limited. This wasn't good....

"TWO!"

Instead, Alaina grunted as she bridged her hips up and arched her back, just barely getting her shoulders off the mat to stop the pin in the nick of time! Alaina slumped back to the mat, gasping for air as she tried to recover, but Kyo was still on top of her.

Kyo's latest pin attempt had been a desperate one, driven by the fact that he was in a lot of pain and by the fact that he was hoping that Alaina was exhausted as he was. The two were eye to eye now as Kyo pinned Alaina's wrists, trying to match the Amazon's twisting on the mat as she tried to get a shoulder up. His heart beat more rapidly as the count reached two, and he realized that this desperate gambit might pay off.

That was, until Alaina arched, her leopard print clad body curving with surprising grace off the mat. The crowd oooo'd, partly because of Alaina's impressive resilience, but also out of appreciation for the way this caused the two fit, sweaty wrestlers to grind suggestively against each other. Indeed, Kyo felt his face flush red as Alaina's chest and lower body suddenly pressed up more against his, causing his face to slide down so that he was cheek to cheek with Alaina.

Trying to keep his mind focused on the match, Kyo tried to sit upright and pull Alaina up with him so they were both sitting facing each other. Unless Alaina stopped him, Kyo would try to lock his legs around her waist in a body scissor, while grabbing one of her arms with both of his, trying to twist it behind her back in a kimura lock! He would grit his teeth and try to wring a submission out of the Amazon...that was, unless Alaina escaped or Peggy interfered...

Alaina went from breaking the pin to being pulled up. Before she could stop Kyo she felt her torso burn with pain as if it were on fire! Her eyes were nearly bugging out of her head as she began to thrash about, being in horrible position to stop her fate! She coughed and gagged as she screamed, reaching out desperately to Peggy who seemed to be miles away!

Peggy looked over and grit her teeth. Should she go in without a tag? Alaina would hate anything resembling cheating, but if she just broke up the hold and went back to the ropes that wasn't too bad was it? Peggy mulled it over, looking uneasy as Alaina kept fighting to stay alive and not tap out....

The roar of the crowd was everywhere now as Kyo locked in the hold, his legs punishing Alaina's middle even as he bent her arm the wrong way behind her back. Sweat dropped down from strands of his hair from the sheer effort of trying to keep the Amazon locked, but try as he might, she just wouldn't tap. He needed to try something else.

Unhooking his legs, Kyo moved to stand back up, using his grip on Alaina's arm to pull her up with him. Turning, he burst into a run, slinging Alaina's arm over his shoulder as he tried to judo toss her hard onto her front...step one of what he had planned next.

Alaina was in bad shape and knew it. As she rose up and was behind Kyo with her arm over his shoulder she grew desperate. It was time for Peggy to get back in and do her thing. As they stood up Alaina sent a kick to the back of his knee to try to give him a pause, hopefully enough time for her to free her arm. Once free, Alaina would dive to the side, reaching her arm out to tag Peggy in! she could only hope to free herself and hope that Peggy's arm was stretched far enough for her to reach otherwise she was going to be in a world of hurt again!

Kyo was able to pull Alaina upright without any difficulty, turning around so that his back was facing the Amazon's. As he pulled her arm over his shoulder for a judo toss, however, he felt Alaina's boot slam against the back of his knee. Gasping, he felt his knee buckle and his grip loosen. Cursing, he spun to face Alaina, hoping to take her down quickly with a close ranged clothesline, but she was already moving. What happened next was going to boil down to who moved faster...

Kyo hammered Alaina in the back with the clothesline, but it propelled her forward, sending her into Peggy who made the tag! While Alaina crashed hard and was laid out at the base of the ropes Peggy climbed into the ring, looking ready to go. She was banged up for sure, but she knew she had to step in and back up Alaina!

Peggy rushed in and saw Kyo standing there, leaping up into the air and swinging her legs up, thrusting them forward by aiming a dropkick right at the face of Kyo! She hoped she could catch him off guard and start off well otherwise both members of her team would be in serious trouble!
