Cross Promotional Tag Match: Akamatsu' s vs. Irish Amazons

Alaina saw Kyo tumble and had him laying at her feet. She had to take advantage of this somehow. She had an idea, and began to make her way over to his legs, reaching down to grab hold of them with her hands. She stepped up and began to tie his legs up around hers and roll him onto his stomach. Alaina was doing all she could to try to lock in a sharpshooter on Kyo, trying to inflict some nasty pain on him while resting a little bit herself although she would be doing all she could to apply as much pressure as she could... provided she was able to secure the hold!

That little backbreaker from Alaina had hurt. A lot. Kyo was gritting his teeth now as he tried to shut out the pain, slowly, trying to roll over onto his hands and knees. He had seen what Alaina had done to Makie, just as he had seen in videos of previous matches what Alaina had done to opponents who were unprepared for her raw power. He was determine not to fall into that category, but at the same time, it couldn't be denied that he was vulnerable right now.

A vulnerability that Alaina was quick to exploit. He suddenly felt his leg being grabbed: the next thing he knew, Alaina had tied his legs up around his, leaning back in a painful sharpshooter! "Ah...AAAAAAH!" he screamed as his upper body was pressed against the mat, his lower back and legs being curved into almost a perfect C-shape as Alaina leaned into the hold. He had to admit, a part of him admired the way in which Alaina had applied the hold: absolute control, and bringing her weight and strength to bear on the weaker part of his back...it was a well-applied submission hold that he would have applauded if he weren't on the excruciating recieving end of it.

"Unh...UNNNNH!" He was starting to sweat now as he bit back a further scream. If Alaina kept this up, he knew, he would be forced to tap soon. Willing himself to stay calm, he pressed his palms against the mat, trying to lift his upper body off the mat, before trying to reach back to grab Alaina's ankle with both hands. If ha managed this, then he would try to use his legs to flip Alaina backwards, hoping to flip her over onto her back and reverse her hold into a legbar!

Alaina wrenched down as hard as she could, intent on putting Kyo through the ringer! However, she wasn't planning on him being about to counter her, especially not the way he did! Her ankle was grabbed and Alaina flung off balance as she was now stuck in the leg bar, her leg surging with pain! Alaina howled in agony as she found herself painfully stuck in the hold compliments of Kyo! The amazon was clearly in agony as she flailed and thrashed around.

Alaina was ina bad spot and struggling to think of a way out. She tried to sit up and punch away at Kyo's grip but she wasn't sure that was going to really amount to anything! Unfortunately as she was in a lot of pain it was all she could think to do!

Kyo almost couldn't believe that had worked, and neither could the audience. One minute, Alaina had had Kyo at her mercy, stretching his legs and pelvis in a way that was almost too painful to look at...and the next, their positions had suddenly reverse, and Kyo was now stretching away painfully at Alaina's leg.The Amazon was howling in agony as Kyo had the hold locked in, thrashing on the mat. The Samurai, in turn, was relentless, his expression quiet and focused as he stretched the trap limb.

"Yeah, get her, Kyo!" Makie called as she recovered in her corner. "Stretch her! Come on, you've got this!"

Then it happened: one of Alaina's fists struck home against Kyo's thigh, where he had all too recently endured Alaina's sharphooter. Biting pain lanced up his leg, and he gave a startled gasp of pain before releasing Alaina, rolling onto his side clutching his leg...

Alaina felt a wave of relief wash over her as her lucky hit managed to use Kyo to release the hold! She rolled over to her side and knell, rising as she favored her good leg, taking it easy on the one that had just been subjected to a very painful submission. She grit her teeth and tested the leg out...

It wasn't like she couldn't walk or run on it, but anytime she used it she had to fight through some pain. She saw Kyo and made her way over to him, trying to help him up by grabbing onto his arm. Alaina wanted to twist her torso putting pressure on her good leg to wipe Kyo into the ropes. She would wait for him in the center of the ring, ready to deliver a powerslam and pin to the man unless he was able to work some sort of counter or dodge her attempt!

Kyo was breathing hard now as he rolled up to his knees, his leg throbbing from where Alaina had both stretched and punched it. Opposite him, he saw Alaina getting up as well. Both opponents at this point had badly hurting legs, and Kyo would have been able to appreciate the irony a lot more if this wasn't hampering his movement so much. Alaina managed to get to her feet first, and very quickly, he felt his arm being grabbed.

The next thing he knew, he was whipped across the ring, pain shooting up his leg as it was forced to move. Wincing, he came bouncing back at Alaina, but before he could even setup a counter, he felt himself being grabbed and slammed down into the mat! He cried out from the impact, before feeling himself being wrapped up for the pin.

ONE..

Gritting his teeth, he kicked out. He needed to turn this match around fast-- otherwise, against an opponent of Alaina' s sheer power, he wouldn't last long...

Alaina held Kyo down for all she was worth, but he kicked out quickly to her dismay. "Damn, you are a tough one aren't ya? I have my work cut out for me!" Alaina said as she rolled off, rising back up to her feet and keeping an eye on Kyo. Alaina knew that Kyo was good enough to turn things around so she had to be extra careful. She waited for him to get up, and began circling around as he rose to his feet.

Kyo was driven, but so was Alaina. She tried to move in close to him as she raised her leg up, trying to swing a fast kick around to crash into his abdomen! She could only hope he didn't have the presence of mind to counter or otherwise dodge his way out lest Alaina find herself in a badly compromised position!

Kyo felt Alaina roll off of him, and breathed hard, relieved somewhat to have broken the pinfall. It didn't change the fact that his back was in a lot of pain, however. He winced as he rolled up to his and and knees, then struggled up to his feet, noting that the Amazon was just patiently biding her time. "Th...thanks..." he managed to mutter to Alaina's unexpected compliment.

That was, until she suddenly exploded into movement with a lashing kick. Cursing, Kyo tried to spin to the side to evade the kick. If he managed that, then he would waist no time jumping back, hoping to hammer both of his boots into Alaina's back with a sudden drop kick from behind!

Alaina swung and missed, her body being off balance when her back suddenly felt a sharp pain! Alaina screamed as she flew forward landing flat on her front, groaning as she tried to push herself off the mat. The amazon made it up to her hands and knees as she shook her head, gritting her teeth after the hard hitting, well timed dropkick.

She slapped the mat in frustration and tried her best to rise to her feet and face Kyo before anything else could go his way and halt her momentum!

Kyo dropped down onto his butt after nailing Alaina with the drop kick, watching as the big girl slowly got to her feet. Gritting his teeth, he pushed himself up to a standing position ahead of her, not wanting the Amazon to retake the initiative. Already, she was on her knees.

Moving quickly, Kyo ran to the ropes, bouncing off of them before rebounding at Alaina, aiming to grab her head from behind and catch her in a bulldog! If he managed to take her down, he would then go further by snapping his legs around one of her arms and crisscrossing his arms around her head, aiming to lock her in a crossface submission!
