Charlie Haines vs. Valley Doll - Tension Rising

And boom. So far, so good.

Valley’s DDT worked like a charm, taking the fight out of Charlie - or so it seemed, anyway. There was only one way to be sure, and while it was rare for her to go for a second pin in as many minutes, it was also rare for her to do this well starting in a match. She was on fire today, might as well make the most of it.

”Excuse me…” While he was reeling from the blow, Valley draped her chest across his and pulled his leg up again, going for another pinfall. The referee seemed surprised to see it, but she dropped down and started the count all the same.

”1…!”

Charlie again was left reeling after Valleys offense. Again, there was a pin attempt. Charlie was frustrated at this point and have it his all to thrust out! To his embarrassment the first thrust didn't work. The count reached two again and Charlie thrust his shoulder up, this time kicking out.

Charlie was still hurting and this time he laid there still on his back, wondering what he could do tonight that wouldn't end in failure.

All the way to two this time. Good progress.

Valley stayed close to Charlie this time, giving him little room to breath after he got his shoulders up. He was starting to lose energy, sapping away at that male reserves, and she was keen to take advantage of that. The quicker she moved, the less time he’d have to react and do something that could bridge the gap.

She reached out and got a good grip on those blonde locks of his, grabbing his hair just long enough to pull his head under her arms and secure it. With that firmly locked, she started to stand and pull him back up, trying to make him rise and force him to get vertical. She did her best work on her feet, after all, so it made sense to get him back up.

Charlie was wearily lift up to her feet and swaying. His weak legs were barely underneath him and he knew if he didn't try something he was in a lot of trouble. He brought his arms up, wrapping them around Valley's waist as she held him up. He tried to set his feet underneath himself, and had to summon what little was left of his strength after the beating he had taken in a short amount of time.

Charlie cried out as he tensed up, trying to lift and catch Valley by surprise with a northern lights suplex! He knew Valley was capable of seemingly reversing or countering anything but he had to give this a shot. It was all he had left and all he was in position to try. It was desperation speaking at this point, but he had no other choice.

Valley was doing well. In fact, she was doing a little too well. In her experience, wrestling had an ebb and a flow to it, a rhythm that you felt with any match. No matter how much things worked in your favor, things would change around near the end, and the pendulum would swing back. Painfully, more often than not.

She knew Charlie would get some offense in on her, and the only question was when that would happen. Soon, she would’ve guessed. But right as she was lifting him up? Nope, didn’t see that one coming.

Which was a shame, really, because Charlie used one of her favorite moves, hitting her with an expertly executed Northern Lights Suplex. Good lift, impressive arch, and it was all she could do to jerk about after the impact to avoid a pin.

Instinct took over, and she rolled for the ropes, grabbing hold of the bottom one. It wouldn’t be enough to save her, but she could buy some time to recover and keep him from locking in any submissions.

Charlie finally showed the crowd he was not just a mere punching bag and it felt good. However Valley bought herself time to reset by rolling to the ropes. No matter how much Charlie wanted to.. No, needed to pounce he honored the rope break, backing off to allow Valley up.

Charlie crouched and waited, and once Valley was up he wpuld pounce! Charlie rushed in and raised a leg up, trying to send Valley to the mat with a superkick to the jaw!

Valley needed a moment. Just a moment.

Sure, that was Charlie’s first real hit of the match, but it had been a doozy, one that had thrown her for a serious loop. Again, that was the problem with taking on guys - you could wail away on them, sure, but one good hit and the game could change.

Luckily, she’d been near enough to the ropes to use them as she pulled herself back up. A fact that wasn’t lost on Charlie, as he laid in wait, ready to pounce.

She turned around just in time to see him in the telltale motion of a super kick, and, hurting as she was, Valley still had the reflexes to duck under the strike, narrowly letting it pass overhead. She darted forward, coming out behind Charlie.

With no time to even spin back around, Valley did the only thing she had enough of an opening to do - she threw herself backwards, swung her legs in an upward arch, and came at Charlie with her Pele Kick signature move, hoping to catch him in the head with it.

Charlie kicked his leg up, sure that he was right on target. Unfortunately for him his target moved before impact leaving him high and dry! Charlie landed and knew he had to act fast. He turned around to keep an eye on Valley, but that ended up being detrimental as he turned right into the kick! It caught him square in the face and his head whipped back as his body went limp, falling to the mat in a heap!

Charlie knew he felt a little something wet where he bit his lip, knowing full well it meant he was bleeding just a bit. However, in the daze he was in, he could not do much of anything about that. Hell to the crowd he may have looked flat out knocked out right now.

Nailed it. Bullseyes. Dead-on.

Valley couldn’t see the way her foot hit Charlie’s face, but she could feel the impact, and it was one of the more solid connections she’d ever landed. The move sent out a resounding crack, one that had the audience leaning back while they watch it.

It was only when she rolled to her knee that she saw the real damage - Charlie was laid out, spaced with a vacant look in his eyes, out of it. So out of it, in fact that he might’ve been open to her coup de grace.

She looked between Charlie and the turnbuckle, once, then twice, before she threw it all to the wind and went for it. She grabbed him by the arm, pulling him over a couple of feet to get him in the right position, before hopping over him and skipping towards the ropes.

The crowd rose and got their phones ready as she ascended the turnbuckle, making it all too clear what she was about to do. She rose to one pad, then another, until she was perched on top, looking out at the audience.

A deep breath. A silent count to three.

Valley ducked down and leaped backwards, vaulting through the air. She tucked her legs in and went into a mad spin, getting enough momentum to turn once, then twice, before she came down on Charlie from above with the ever-impressive Full Moonsault.

Charlie was as easy a target as any at this point. He was laid out, blood around his lip and barely conscious. He groaned and squirmed, reaching up like he wanted to sit up, his torso slowly moving up only to crash back to the mat. He was vaguely aware of being dragged and only moved and lazily flopped his limbs slightly.

After a few moments the cheers and such slowly hit him as Valley also hit him. Hard. Really hard! Charlie let out a weak, pathetic gasp and moan of agony as he went limp on the mat after, not moving or seeming to put up any resistance as Valley absolutely crushed his body. The full moonsault may have also crushed his soul. He had put up absolutely no fight against her and his body wasn't moving even if his barely conscious mind had wanted it to. He was laying there like a dead fish out of water.
