Leah Shaw vs Levi the Great [Standard Match]

Leah had never performed the move on a downed opponent before. Generally she could strike her foe over, and she would remain upright. There was no pushback here through. She her rear collided firmly with Levi, snapping him back to the canvas. She continued on, sailing over his downed form to bounce off the mat. Once, twice, three times on her tush before she came to a stop with a wince. She would need to be a bit more careful next time how much umph she put into that.

She leaned herself forward, climbing to her feet. She rubbed at her backside eyeing Levi. The fans were hooting and hollering, a few wise guys shouting out to let her know she could do that move to them any day. “Thanks?” She wobbled her way to the turnbuckle, slowly transitioning into a walk. She glanced back to check on her adversary every so often.

She turned her back to the corner, using the ropes to pull herself up onto the middle rope. She took a deep breath, psyching herself up as she started to bounce. In her head she counted down. Three… two… one… She suddenly sprang up from the middle to top rope, launching herself out across the ring.

She twisted in mid air, evening out her body as she came up, then down. Her arm hooked to drop down towards Levi, trying to drill him in the chest with the perfect elbow drop. While she didn't get to use it much at all, this was a perfect chance to break out her finisher, the “Love Tap”.

While she skids on her butt like a cartoon character, Levi was genuinely groggy and dazed from that hip attack, doesn't seem to be moving much, which made the crowd cheer and holler. Apparently he was a lucky guy. He sure as hell didn't feel like it.

His eyes glassy and staring up at the bright lights that illuminated the whole arena. The loud noises didn't help matters as his head pounded, cheers from the crowd to Leah. All for her. Not for him. And it fucking sucks. 

Not really getting his wits together, he hears the crowd's cheers grow louder, apparently something is happening... something big. But what? He will soon get his answer as Leah climbed up onto the ropes before hopping on the top turnbuckle and leaping off them, flying towards Levi, the red mark still shown in his chest and serving as a bullseye for Leah to hit the flying elbow drop that would make Shawn Michaels smile. 

He yelped, his body raising up, spasming in pain before it would fall right back to the canvas. Leah breaking out a picture perfect finisher on the 'Great One', After that, he showed no movement, Levi just layed there while the crowd cheers for their new favourite.

Once she was on the way down, no amount of twisting could change her charted path, she closed her eyes and hoped to hit the mark. With a resounding crash she came down hard, burying her elbow on target to the roar of the crowd. She opened her eyes, unable to believe it.

Overcome by the moment she almost got up to celebrate, nearly forgetting the most important part. She mouthed a small “whoops” silently to herself as she turned over, settling herself down snugly across Levi’s chest. She had the good sense to hook one of his legs.

The referee came sliding over, keeping low to the mat to keep an eye on Levi’s shoulders. They slapped the mat hard. “One!”

She could hardly contain herself, a bundle of excitement to not only win here, but do so after a sequence of her personal moves. She must have looked so cool! After this aired, she would have to watch it on DVR later. Edgar was going to be so proud… maybe!

The referee's palm slapped the mat a second time. “Two!”

With that, Leah put the final nail in the coffin. That flying elbow drop pretty much ended his dreams of having a perfect debut. Neither of the wrestlers could believe it. Leah seemed to have forgotten she needed to pin him first and did a premature celebration. Though it was only brief, she would soon sit on his chest and hook his leg for the pin count. 

The ref starting the count and the crowd counting as well. First one went. No movement. The second count went. Again, no movement. The third? Do I really need to say it?

"Three!'" And that was that. Levi's first loss. And it has to be her. This bitch pinned the Great One. Him. Levi. This can't be real. Can't be! But it is, much to his chagrin. God-fucking-dammit!!

Leah bit her lower lip following each count. The crowd was chanting each number with the referee. A normal match on a nothing timeslots between two unknown wrestlers has suddenly become a big event. When the third count finally came and the bell one she sprang up, letting Levi’s leg fall away.

The referee went to make the official rules, but she took them in her arms, squeezing them in a hug. There was an awkward moment where the official had no idea what to do before simply patting their back lightly.

Leah let them go, running around the edge of the ring jumping up and down as if she had just won herself a championship belt or something. She pointed to every hard camera she knew was in the arena, blowing kisses and making gun gestures. Giving the fans at home some good shots of her too.

Once she was all celebrated out, she made her way back over to Levi, peering down curiously at him. Despite herself, she reached down, offering him a hand to help him up if he wanted it.

While Levi lays there, Leah was celebrating her win. As she should be. He would have done the same if he had won. Thought he would say that he would handle it with class and integrity, that it would have been a great thing to have lost. Since they would lose to a future champion. However, his ego has been dealt a big blow.

Instead, he was flat on his back and suffered a loss. A bitter one that proved to be hard to swallow. Why did it have to be this nobody? Stealing the fanfare, that was supposed to be his fanfare that he should be getting. No doubt he would be bitter about that. 

Leah would watch over him, despite what happened, she extended her hand for him. Really? Fucking really?? Propping up to his elbows, Levi would look at it with squinted eyes before arrogantly batting the hand away. "Get real..." Earning himself more boos from the crowd, Levi rolled to his side, looking like he tasted something disgusting.

She was trying to muster a smile. Conjure up a bit of good will between the two of them. Maybe he was just so down on her before because he thought she was just going to be some no name pushover. As he pushed himself up, she thought he was going to take her hands before he slapped it aside.

Her brow furrowed, lips tugging at their corners trying to hold back a frown. Slowly Leah leaned back to stand, quietly nursing her hand as if he had hit it far harder than he actually had. “Well okay then… good match.” She huffed softly, slowly turning away to head towards the ramp.

She gave the official one more nod, before she headed through the ropes to leave the ring. An arm raised, her smile slowly returned as she got a few more cheers on her way out.

She managed to show some good will, even with what he said and done, Leah extended her hand...all for Levi to just slap it away from him, generating a lot of angry boos and jeers from the crowd. Like he cares. All he thinks is that Leah spoiled what was supposed to be a great match for the Great One himself.

That shit wasn't going to fly. He doesn't care what the crowd thinks not even what this bitch thinks. She showed kindness and threw it back in her face. What a piece of shit.


"Whatever. Just get lost already." He kept throwing hate at her, not even looking at her. Leah would simply leave after that, she at least has a W on her belt. Levi did not. And he is left in the ring alone, slowly getting up to his feet, the ref checking to see if he's ok. But he would shrug him off to, shoving him to the floor. Scowling, he would slide out of the ring. Clutching his chest as he would walk to the locker room. For now, he just wants to be by himself. And no one else.
