Pyrena Alexandria Nikos vs Isabella White - A Second Try

Had Isabella came up more fresh and 100% than she is now, she would have done more damage. However, not doing so would probably end up being her downfall. Even Pyrena herself did question if that was Isabella's actual power, something in her mind to hold back or if Pyrena gotten more tougher since coming back to the AFW ring. She could think about it later, however. Now was the time to counter.

Grabbing onto the leg that Isabella used just before she would bring it back, making sure it is in her possession, before performing a nice single leg takedown. Although again, Pyrena would have to question if the blonde was holding back. It might have been possible to counter the move and yet the takedown was successful. Maybe too successful. Maybe she is other thinking this too much though....

Despite this, Pyrena would keep on the attack. She does still have the leg of Isabella's, the uninjured one of course, hoping to soften her up some. With mat experience, Pyrena would move, her grip looking to come up towards the ankle of the blonde before trying to roll the both of them on their sides and wrap her legs around the leg, attempting to lock in a kneebar.

Isabella was now down on the mat, after being taken down by Pyrena's single leg takedown. Her leg was still being held on to. She had no way to escape from her opponent; the leg being held was her good leg, and she didn't want to risk putting too much stress on her good leg this early on in the match. If she was feeling better, she would have made an attempt at trying to get out from under Pyrena, but all she was doing right now was attempting to push Pyrena off from on top of her. It could barely be called an attempt.

Soon, Isabella felt Pyrena slowly lift herself up off of her body. "That's a relief", she thought. She had no way of getting out from underneath her opponent. She didn't have the upper body strength to push her off. She knew that Pyrena was simply preparing for another move, but she just didn't know what it was. Unluckily for her, the move she was preparing for was a submission hold being aimed at her uninjured leg. She felt her opponent take a hold of her good leg, wrapping her in a kneebar. She screamed out in pain. Pyrena was rather good at submissions, something that caught Isabella by surprise, considering her opponent's size.

Isabella tried kicking her opponent, mostly out of desperation. Using her injured leg, she tried kicking her opponent's hands, and legs. She was just kicking randomly, not paying too much attention as to what she was kicking, as long as it hit Pyrena. She didn't want to be trapped in the submission for a long time. She already had an injured right leg, and she didn't want her left leg to end up getting injured too.

Things were going well for the Red Amazonian. Perhaps a bit too well for her liking. Still, she is a warrior and she came to win.

Weakening the opponent isn't a bad idea. Well, it is to the victim but can certainly help in slowing them down for more powerful attacks. A kneebar is a good choice. Luckily for the blonde it is on her uninjured leg. Had it been the other leg then she would be instantly tapping as soon as it was applied.

Pyrena didn't have much intention of finishing Isabella with this move. On the other hand, she wouldn't have complained. Just wouldn't be such a fulfilling victory for her.

Of course, Isabella doesn't want to stay in that move for a long time and she would start attacking her hands and legs in a desperate attempt to save herself from crawling out of the ring. They certainly are doing the trick, the kicks were becoming annoying to the Greek and she would soon have to let go. Not before she would give one last torque on that leg before letting go.

Getting onto one knee, Pyrena would have her hand under her armpit and her head, looking to just bring the newcomer to her feet.

Isabella was in pain. Her opponent had her in a submission hold that she couldn't get herself out of. All she could do was kick her other leg desperately, hoping that Pyrena would break the hold. Soon, to her relief, Pyrena finally let go of Isabella's leg, right after she pulled it one final time for good measure. Isabella pulled her leg right to her chest, clutching it, as if it was an invaluable object that she was desperately trying to keep safe.

Isabella was down on the mat, laying down on her side, whilst holding her left leg close to her chest. She was trying constantly to take her mind off of the pain, but she'd fail constantly. She needed to focus on the match, and not the pain that was shooting through her leg, but she has always been prone to pain, so it was hard for her to bounce back from having her main source of offence weakened. Despite this, she knew she needed to take her mind off of her leg, but she just couldn't.

Isabella tried taking her mind off of the pain. It failed. The pain in her leg was something she was having trouble taking her mind off of. She looked at Pyrena, and saw that she was now on one knee. Isabella needed to focus if she didn't want her opponent capitalising on the advantage that they now had. Isabella tried taking her mind off of her leg again. It failed. Her mind was just clouded with thoughts about the pain in her leg. Pyrena was now reaching down, looking to lift Isabella back up to her feet. Isabella then again, for the last time, tried to bring herself to think of some sort of offensive strategy. She couldn't. It looks like she was at the mercy of Pyrena for another move.

Isabella was helped to her feet by Pyrena, being lifted up from her armpit and head. Pain shot straight through her legs as she stood up. It wasn't enough to make her lose her balance, solely due to her being in the clutches of Pyrena.

Much to her relief, Pyrena had no intention on having the hold locked on for too long. More of a means of weakening Isabella for some more devastating moves. Not a bad plan of course, and for some, a lot more fun than finishing a match too quickly. Pyrena does love a good battle but takes it in a warrior's sense and not someone who just likes fighting for kicks.

She got up to one knee and grabbed Isabella to lift her up to her feet, Isabella trying to take her mind off the pain but couldn't. Pyrena may not have known both of her legs were damaged, assuming that it was only the one that she targeted. Even if Isabella wanted to fall to the ground, Pyrena had a good hold of her so she wouldn't fall to the ground. She was basically being a support for Isabella. While she has her standing up now, she won't be doing so for long. Not with what the Red Amazonian has planned.

The Greek warrior slung Isabella's arm behind her neck before griping the waist. Been a while since she would show some feat of strength and attempt to lift the girl up, the crowd instantly knowing she is about to go for a suplex. However, Pyrena aims to delay it while Isabella is in the air, taking a few steps, holding her upside down before she would fall backwards to slam her to the ground if she can.

Isabella got up, with pain shooting through both of her legs, but she simply winced through it. She was being held up by Pyrena, with her head under her armpit. Isabella hated being in this position, but there was nothing that she could do. With both of her legs in the current state that they're in, she would probably just collapse onto the floor if she tried fighting back. All she could do was wait, and see what it was that her opponent would do.

Unfortunately, she wouldn't have to wait long. Her opponent grabbed her arm, and threw it behind their neck, then gripped her waist. Isabella knew what was coming. She was going for a suplex, and with a girl as tall as Pyrena, it was going to hurt. She knew what was coming, and all she could do was wait for it to happen.

Isabella got lifted up into the air by Pyrena. She closed her eyes, as Pyrena did so, trying to prepare herself for the impact. She was expecting it to happen instantly, but it didn't. She was being held up vertically by her opponent. Isabella opened her eyes slowly, looking at the sight in front of her. She looked around at an upside down crowd, wondering why her opponent wouldn't just put her down. Her being held up was just making her feel worse about the move. The crowd seemed to love it, but Isabella just waited, suspended upside down, agitated, and waiting for her opponent to finish their move.

Soon, her opponent fell backwards. Isabella closed her eyes again, not wanting the vision of seeing everything fall out of her sight bother her. That was until she hit the mat. As soon as that happened, she yelped out in pain, clutching her back with one of her hands, and using the momentum to transition into a sitting position. The suplex was painful, and the height of the drop added to that pain drastically.

True to her own nickname, the Red Amazonian lifted the blonde up, not just having skill but strength to boot. Isabella hadn’t given her much trouble, mostly due to her legs taking a lot of damage and was at the mercy of Pyrena to be kept up on her two feet.

Lifting up Isabella, the crowd and her knew instantly what Pyrena was going for. But it wasn’t going to happen in an instant, Pyrena holding her opponent up vertically, a little bit of showing off there and probably would have given the blonde opponent time to counter it. Still, Pyrena shown great control as she kept her up for a long time, the crowd awaits for that landing. Even Isabella had been agitated being upside down for a while.

Soon, Pyrena would fall backwards and slammed Isabella down to the canvas, the Greek hearing the yelp of pain. With how high she was, no doubt she had a rough landing.

Pyrena watching her opponent sitting up and clutching her back, she eyed her chance as she sat up some her hands reaching the shoulders of Isabella and looks to pull her down and pin them to the mat. All in the attempt to put her in a simple pin attempt, hooking her leg up as she does.
