The Black Fang vs. Sien Teist - Old School

There were probably a few moves the Black Fang could’ve gone for in this position. Her choice wasn’t random.

She could’ve just pelted Sien with soccer kicks to the back, rattled her spine and maybe even gotten a good ‘GOAL’ chant from the audience. She could’ve pulled her into a rest hold or something, just worn her away with minimal risk. She could’ve gone for a rolling cutter or something like that. Instead, she went for something flashy, effective, but something that wouldn’t hurt her friend too much, and something she had decent enough time to block. Which she did. Good.

Feeling her momentum return, the Black Fang slapped the mat and moved back up to her feet, where she raised her fists in triumph. The crowd rallied behind with an appreciated cheer, and she went back on the attack with their energy behind her, feeling the moment.

She came in and reached through the  ropes, grabbing at Sien’s head to pull her up, grippign her slkull tight with both hands. ”Come along, Ms. Teist!” She exclaimed, as she dragged her foe back inside. ”Justice isn’t finished with you yet!”

Things had swung and swung hard and she couldn't stop blaming her decision for that stupid running leg drop. The sting of it was still with her, a nagging reminder as she slowly clawed herself back through the ropes. She didn't mind losing exchanges, especially here, but getting knocked around as a direct result of something she had done just stung more than her being outright bested. She had a feeling when she went back to watch this later for research, she'd find a lot more mistakes like that leg drop and was not looking forward to beating herself up over them.

It had been kind of The Black Fang to make her way over. She helped Alexa forget her mistakes temporarily as she had to focus on more important things, like trying to stumble her way to her feet as The Black Fang dragged her back into the ring. Her own hands had been used to crawl along the ground until she had been lifted enough to try and find the heroine's arms to hold onto for support.

"Justice can suck grapes!" Sorry justice, she didn't mean it, really. It was just a phase. Honest.

She couldn't just let herself be manhandled. As she found her footing, she planted her feet, squaring up to battle back. She pulled her arms away as she leaned into her captor, body twisting as she began alternating throwing out delayed forearm body blows at The Black Fang, trying to power her way though whatever the other girl had in mind for her.

Today was a learning day, and the Black Fang was learning so many interesting thigns about her new friend. How creative she was for one thing, coming up with this whole idea, but also how she wrestled, and most important, how remarkably tenacious she could be.

She hadn’t expected AJ to go easily, but she had expected her to, at least, go thinking she would be worn out enough from the kick that she could manipulate her with ease. Not so. Things were going fine at first, with the Black Fang lifting AJ up, intending to bring her hard into the ring with a delayed vertical suplex. Before she could pull that off, though, she had a little problem with AJ’s forearm. A couple of them. Three.

The blows hit harder than she’d expected, enough force to knock the Black Fang away after the third one, making her stagger away as she covered and giving Sien the breathing room she was sure to crave.

Each forearm was a labored act of desperation, the bulk of the power behind them was all her weight behind each. She had managed to buy herself time as each landed, the third following throw as The Black Fang staggered back. She stumbled almost falling herself. She clapped her hands on her knees, panting as she looked up at the heroine in front of her. Everything in her body was telling her to take it easy and lay low. She could use this time to recover, build up some more energy. But the fan in her didn't want that. She wanted to be that star that just went on forever, never seemed to let the fight take them down. Of course, those were more talented people than her. The idea itself was a bit romanticized as well... that wouldn't stop her however.

She shook her head, taking in one deep breath as she charged forward, attempting to dash past The Black Fang. She watched her the whole way by until she was pat the point of no return. Leaping up, she threw her legs forward and arched her back to reached for the woman's head, trying to cradle it in her arms up to her shoulder as she dropped them both to the mat in a quick and simple neck breaker. If she managed to hit her with it, she'd roll over, throwing an arm weakly over Black Fang to go for another flimsy pin attempt.

Nope, AJ didn’t half-ass. The Black Fang was still reeling from the forearms a moment later, so taken that she didn’t quite process what was going on around her for a few moments. A few moments too long, as it turned out, because that was more than enough time for Sien to make her move.

She lost  sight of her foe, something Asami warned her never to do, and the reason why was made painfully apparent in the next second. Sien wasted no time - the next thing the Black Fang knew, she had a hand around her head, she was being yanked down, and her brain suddenly felt like a grenade was going off in the middle of it. Premium pain.

Through her haze, she was aware of Sien sliding over her, draping over her for another pin.

”1…!”

She was also aware that they were fairly close to the ropes. And that her legs weren’t hooked.

”2…!”

Right as the referee was going for the final count, she brought her leg up and put her foot on the bottom rope, letting it rest there. The official saw it at the last second and ended the count, standing as she shook her head. ”Rope break!”

Alexa wearily craned her neck, looking over The Black Fang's body as the call was made for a rope break. Sure enough, there it was. This whole match was bordering on ridiculous now, and she was loving every second of it. The brunette barked out a laugh, more to herself than to anyone else. "Aw jeez." Her ring awareness was dipping off pretty fast, she hadn't even realized they were this close to the ropes.

She let out a long whining groan, it was time to stand up again. As she staggered to her feet, she attempted to gather to The Black Fang by the head and shoulder to drag her up along with her. Along the way she'd twist the woman, so they were facing each other when they had gotten to their feet.  She'd throw up one of the Heroine's arms over the back of her neck before grabbing hold of her sash as she prepared to lift her into something that would certainly be painful. She was sure the ropes would be out of reach now, if all went according to plan she would have The Black Fang in the middle of the ring.

The Black Fang could have kicked out of that pin, if she’d needed to. Sien’s neckbreaker was good, one of the crispest applications of the move she’d seen, but it wouldn’t have been enough to take her down under normal circumstances. Not quite finisher worthy.

Using the ropes was a more sound strategy. All these kickouts were starting to take their toll, as Sien forced her to waste precious energy, so she needed to conserve in any way possible. It was a sharp reminder that, the more this went on, the closer her foe was getting to picking up a real win. The Black Fang needed to speed this along, before AJ’s tenacity paid off.

She saw her chance coming as AJ put her arm over her shoulder and started marching them, preparing to set up another suplex, no doubt. She played possum for a moment, taking the time recover just a smidge more, until the reached the middle of the ring.

Then it was time to act, and act she did. Up went her arm, raised high and mighty, before she brought it down hard and drove her elbow into the center of Sien’s back. A strike right on the spine, meant to either drop Sien flat or get the cur down on her knees.

Alexa had taken to dragging The Black Fang along side her, coaxing her to follow for the next setup she had in mind. It appeared the girl was just as winded at her, she offered no real resistance. On some level she knew that was good, after all, that's what she needed to do. Maintain control. On the other hand, she worried she may have gone a bit overboard. Had she crossed over a line at some point in their match, did she get lucky? She wasn't sure.

All her worrying proved to be for nothing, as her opponent was far from done. The sudden strike to her back had taken her completely by surprise. She hadn't been standing ready to take the hit, nor even aware it was coming. With a yelp she lurched forward in a stumble before falling to the mat, not completely flat, as she managed to catch her right side with her arm, but for all intents and purposes she was down. Her eyes scrunched shut as her breath quickened to short ins and outs to try and will away the pain from the blow. God that was smarts!

"Y-you.... yoooooooou!" She knew this wasn't good. She was in for something nasty, she could feel it. She tried pushing herself up, looking back to try to catch sight of The Black Fang so she could see what she was about to do to her.

This was getting harder the longer it went on. Not because AJ was presenting more of a challenge or anything - though she was giving far more of a fight than the Black Fang expected -  but because it was becoming clearer and clearer with each moment that Sien was going to need the heavy artillery before she could finish her off. The big guns. The signature moves.

She hated it, but that was what they’d come to. She would have get AJ some ice cream at some point in the near future, to make up for what she was planning next.

She stood as Sien began to rise, turning her side to her opponent, sliding into position. When her foe had gotten high enough, just high enough, she spun around and raised her leg, for what seemed like a roundhouse kick to the head at first...until she turned her leg around so that the strike hit the top of her instead, whipping her right on the top of her skull.

Her signature move, on loan from Asami Kusanagi herself: the Switchblade Kick.

She clutched her back as she lay on the mat for a good long moment before attempting the climb. As she rose, each time she was able to was able to lock in her position was like a foothold on a great climb. She pushed herself up to one knee. Why hadn't she taken the time to recuperate? From her knee she pulled herself into a hunch, bracing her palms against her legs. She wasn't sure how much more gas she had in the engine. She had been watching the Black Fang each step... she was waiting? Was she going to lock up and attempt something big? She had to be ready for it.

As she stood up just enough, she saw the woman twist.

Oh no.

The black Fangs leg shot up towards her.

OH NO!

She was trying to step back, trying to get out of the way when the kick came crashing down at her. Her head immediately dipped with the impact, falling to the side she dropped to one knee. Had she weather the blow? Was she going to power back up and bring down this hero of justice?!

It had been pure coincidence Alexa was out, completely out on. As her body leaned off that one knee, her form crumpled with a soft thunk, laying her own in a limp line on the canvas.
