Teddy Cat Hori vs. The Black Fang: Wild Things

The crowd was just getting settled in after a particularly heated hentai matchup on Friction. The particulars weren’t too important, suffice to say that it had been a lengthy matchup, with numerous bodily fluids expelled, of which the cleanup crew had just now finished cleaning. As per the usual, many of the male audience members were going to skip the next matchup, as they took a little time to go the bathroom and find ‘relief’.

The charitable term for such a period was the ‘death spot’. The uncharitable word was ‘piss break match’. Ryoko didn’t really care what people called it, though, because she had her own term for it: ‘first official match’.

There she stood in the gorilla position, the one chance she’d had for privacy since she came to the arena. She was all dressed up in her new ring attire: the one-piece, the long sleeves, the sash, the boots. The only part of her ensemble missing was the mask, and she held that in her hand.

Looking at it. Just looking at it.

She took a few deep breathes, as she held the simple piece of fabric in her palms. She was a wrestler. She’d been a wrestler for years. This shouldn’t have been a big deal. Sure, she’d never fought before this large of a crowd, and she’d never fought as the Black Fang before, but would it make that big of a difference?

Of course. Because she wasn’t wrestling as Ryoko Urameshi, the no-name, generic grappling girl from Osaka. Tonight, she was wrestling as the Black Fang, the protege of Asami Kusanagi, the defender of the weak and downtrodden. This wasn’t cosplaying, not an act. She was about to become the closest thing mortal men and women could ever dream to a real superhero.

Ryoko was nervous. Ryoko was excited. Ryoko was wishing she’d used the bathroom when she had the chance, because now she kind of had to go, and there wasn’t enough time to-

”Hey!” One of the stagehands popped her head in. ”What are you waiting for? Your music is playing! Go, go, go!”

”Say what?” Ryoko snapped to attention and realized that her music was, in fact, playing outside. And had been doing for at least ten seconds past her cue.

”Oh, God! Ohgodohgodohgod-” She scrambled to pull the mask on as quickly as she could and popped out of the back, fumbling with it all the way. Luckily for her, she’d asked the tech crew to lower the lights for her entrance, give her some air of mystique, so nobody saw her true identity. Or how hard a time she was having getting her own costume on.

It was done by the time she made her way to the ring and rolled in, popping up in the middle of the ring as a spotlight lit her up. This was it. This was her moment.

”TOKYO!” The Black Fang threw her arms into the air and let out a wild cry, befitting her name. ”The savior has come!”

Indeed. But, as the lights came back on and the music faded, the audience was mostly apathetic to the newcomer’s entrance. Fine. Okay. The Black Fang nodded, more to herself than anyone, as she made her way back to the corner. Sure, it was a rough start, but if there was one thing the AFW crowd could always get behind, it was a good fight.

The Black Fang would give them that, regardless of who her opponent was.

Backstage, Teddy Cat Hori paced back and forth nervously, clad in her sexy ring gear, the pink haired fighter trying to calm her nerves. She had a right to be nervous after all. While her last two matches had been very hard fought, and had gained her both popularity with the crowd and a couple new friends, it had yet to bring her the one thing that mattered most in AFW...victory.

Sure, she knew she couldn't win them all, and while losses were disappointing, she didn't take herself so overly serious as to have a breakdown from losing, but it was still frustrating. While she had gained a few new fans through her efforts, her critics, who thought she wasn't much in Wrestle Angels and had been simply gone too long to be able to make it in AFW, had been extra harsh to her after those losses, despite her effort, and AFW management hadn't been impressed.

Her music starting to play, Teddy took a deep breath and calmed herself, giving one last check of her ring gear before heading to the entrance. Tonight was the night, she told herself. Tonight was when she got her first win in AFW and showed she wasn't just washed up!

Coming out onto the entrance ramp, the sexy, but tough, kitty fighter looked out onto the audience, basking in the cheers she did get, which, while not an arena full, was still a respectable amount, mainly from the old WA fans that enjoyed anything from that promotion. Pointing her fingers on her head, her classic kitty ear gesture, she made her way down the ramp, slapping a few hands before sliding under the ropes to enter the ring.

Once in the ring, the Neko hopped onto the turnbuckle, pointing her ears and "Mrrowwww"ing loudly for the crowd, playfully licking the back of her paw...err, hand, before hopping down and looking at her masked opponent.

"Hey there-Nya! Teddy Cat Hori's the name, you look as fun as yarn-Nya! You ready to play-Nya?"

She asked, going full kitty gimmick, both for her enjoyment and because she knew it could throw an opponent off.

At first, the Black Fang was a bit confused. She didn’t recognize the music, and she tried to stay abreast of most themes these days. Maybe a new wrestler? The AFW had a revolving door of talent, it seemed, so it wouldn’t surprise her that they’d put her up against someone else fresh for her start. Made sense.

Her eyes narrowed, then widened, as she recognized the figure at the top of the ramp. Small, yes, but the pink hair and the getup were unmistakable. ”Teddy Cat Hori?”

The Black Fang was a little starstruck to see such a big name making her way down to the ring. Maybe not the biggest star of Wrestle Angels by any stretch of the imagination, but still - a small Wrestle Angel was still a Wrestle Angel, a product of, quite possibly, the most prestigious wrestling organizations in history. It was a far step up from the unheard of wrestlers she’d been taking on in half-empty halls until this point, and there were far worse rungs on the wrestling ladder she could’ve started climbing with.

She’d have to get an autograph. She had an old Wrestle Angels poster in the back of her car from the last convention, she could use that. Granted, Teddy wasn’t on that, but maybe she wouldn’t mind…

The Black Fang shook herself out of nerd mode and put her attention right back where it belonged, with her adorable yet dangerous opponent.

”Yes!” The Black Fang slapped her cheeks, psyched up, and brought her arms up as the referee came in between them, offering the test of strength to her feline foe. ”I’m ready for you, Ms. Hori. Come at me from whatever direction you like!”

Teddy smiled back, winking at Black Fang and giving her a "Nya" just for her, before the referee signaled for the bell to ring. This was it. Black Fang looked fun, but Teddy needed to put her down, if she wanted any chance of people being able to take her seriously as a fighter.

She smirked, as Fang offered her a test of strength, flexing briefly to show off the thin, yet firm muscle on her body, pounding her smooth abs with her other hand.

"You sure about that? I know these muscles don't bulge, but this kitty is stronger than she looks-Nya!"

Teddy said, giving her hips a wiggle before she raised her arms and locked up with her masked opponent, pushing against her to see how strong she was!

Teddy’s muscle had not gone without notice. The Black Fang had a decent memory, particularly for ultra-cute cat girls with pink hair, and she definitely picked up on how the Wrestle Angel was looking significantly more jacked than usual. She’d definitely been working out, looking like a pile of solid muscle. Strong. Very strong.

But the Black Fang was strong, too. And other things.

She moved into the test of strength and tasted Teddy Cat Hori’s power, tested her might. For a second, it felt like she could hold her own, here, but the Wrestle Angel’s power was slowly edging out her own. She had to take a step back, then another, her arms began to move back…

”Hup!” The Black Fang suddenly dropped down, pulled back, pushed her legs into Teddy Cat Hori’s chest and tried to send her flopping over with the monkey flip. Maybe it would make her let go, maybe it wouldn’t, but she could work with it, either way.

Teddy was pushing against Black Fang's shoulders, quickly managing to overcome the masked woman's efforts and start pushing her towards the ropes, the adorable kitty starting to think she could overpower Black Fang and maybe get a quick win.

Black Fangy, (or "Fangy", as Teddy was thinking of calling her) was quick to dispel any ideas Teddy had of a fast win, Teddy suddenly falling forward, Fangs legs working to flip her overhead with monkey flip, the neko losing her grip and flying over Black Fang's head, hitting the mat on her back with a surprised yelp.

She was quick to recover, only on the ground for a few seconds before rolling over to get up.

"Well that was sneaky!"

Success! The Black Fang watched Teddy Cat Hori go flying with her monkey flip, and she was already overjoyed just to start this match with a leg up over such a noteworthy opponent. Now, she had to consolidate this most fortuitous start with a witty quip.

”So much for landing on your feet!”

Perfect.

A move to follow up with would be a good idea, too, and she had just the one in mind. As Teddy Cat Hori rose, the Black Fang slid in, hooked an arm with one of her own, then jerked back and twisted around as she fell to her back, pulling her opponent up and over with a traditional arm drag.

Okay, not a bad kitty pun, actually making Teddy giggle as she got up to her feet.

"Hey, that's my gim-WOAH!"

She yelped, getting suddenly tossed again, this time with an arm drag, getting flipped over to her back again by the speedy quick quickness of Black Fang.

Not one to be kept down so easy, Teddy rolled over and pushed herself up, before swinging her legs out in a half circle, trying to show Black Fang she could be quick too, by tripping her up with a leg sweep!

”Ha!”

The Black Fang had a cry of triumph as she sent Teddy flying with the arm drag, but there was a tinge of regret on the undertone. Truth told, she did feel a little bad about stealing Teddy’s schtick like that, but the joke was just begging to be made, and she wasn’t sure if there’d ever be a better time to spit it out. Her opponent wasn’t a high-flyer from what she remembered, so there wouldn’t be many other good scenarios to apply it to. Best to get it in now, early while the match was still fresh.

She’d just started to move in after Teddy, getting ready to send her flying with another arm drag and another, more original, quip. The Black Fang even had her arm outstretched for it, getting ready to pull her foe in for the toss. But Teddy had other ideas, ones that invovled knocking her flat on her butt.

The Black Fang let out an undignified squawk as she fell to the canvas from Teddy’s deft strike, a leg sweep that had flown completely under her radar. It was easy enough to recover from - all she had to do was roll off her shouders, pop to her feet, and stand up with her back near the ropes. But it took her a second to get back up, and with the wrong opponent, that could be far too much time to give.

Indeed it could be dangerous with the wrong opponent, and Teddy was just the one to prove it, quickly hopping to her feet and closing the distance between herself and Black Fang as the masked woman got to her feet.

Grabbing Black Fang around her waist, Teddy winked and smiled at her.

"Ready to fly-Nya!?"

She asked, before heaving the lighter woman upwards and falling back, throwing her opponent overhead with a powerful Belly to Belly suplex!
