Interuptions Suck

Sarah was not a firm believer in anything supernatural, and therefoe had a hard time believing the jewel Shanari was after was cursed in anyway. Frankly, she thought that everyone wanted it because it was worth a pretty penny. But she frowned when Shanari mentioned that wasn't the case.

"If that's all you want it for, why don't you just ask her for it?" Sarah asked disdainfully.

" Because she stole it from our ex-leader in the first place, what makes you think she will simply hand over what she stole? "

Shanari closed her eylids halfly, staring out infront of her while she tried to stay atleast a bit comfortable, her hands still squeezing at Sarah's arms.

Sarah frowned at that answer. "So, she stole from somebody else, and now you're gonna steal it from her. What is so important about this stupid jewel?"

" Like I said. I'd like to research it, what makes it tick and if possible.. "

Shanari pressed back completely against Sarah once more, tilting her head back so it was resting against her shoulder and whispered to her with a dark tone.

" Use it.. "

She'd then pull a bit forward, wanting Sarah to release her, deciding to play it smart this time.

" If you really want to know further, release me and I'll take a seat and go into more detail for you. "

Sarah blinked at the dark tone Shanari suddenly dropped to. Use it? Use it how? Those were questions that Sarah wanted to ask. BUt itwas clear Shanari wanted to be released from her death grip first. Part of her said not to, but the other part was more curious.

Slowly she unwound her arm from around her throat. "Have a seat then," he said, and gestured to the couch.

Shanari brought her hands up to her throat to gently massage it before she'd step towards the couch slowly, taking a seat on it, bringing one hand back to gently press against her troat, breathing in and out for a few times before she relaxed, leaning her back against it.

" Well, what do you want to know? "

Sarah took her seat back in her chair, and grabbed her beer to take a sip of before she settled in.

"Okay, I got a question," she said afterwards. "Why is this thing so freakin' important?"

" It brings out the worst of people, therefor also make them less worried about damaging their opponents nor themselves. "

Since Sarah was't going to take a seat on the couch, Shanari decided to lay upon it again, releasing a gentle yawn.

" Course the downside is you'll be completely oblivious to your actions should you ' wake up ' "

Sarah raised an eyebrow quizically, as this whole thing sounded like something out of a fiction novel. "So basically," Sarah started, a sneer playing on her lips. "It's the one jewel to rule them all!!!" Sarah threw back her head and laughed openly. "Give me a break. So that thing is what makes Cerbera the way she is?"

" Like I said, believe what you want. And yes, that's what makes her tick, it used her deep inner hatred towards everyone and tenfolded it. "

Shanari closed her eyes and relaxed on the couch, still stroking and massaging her gently neck and shoulders.
