Queen of the Mountain Match

Risako groaned. Loudly. Being lifted up like that by Artemis had hardly been a pleasant experience, being thrown by her less so. She had hoped, at least, that the impact wouldn't be too bad, that the soft grass of the hill might cushion her fall somewhat. But no. Instead, she had slammed bodily into something hard, firm and brick-like.

Opening her eyes, Risako saw that the something was in fact Laura as she found herself face-to-face with her.

"Um...hi," she said. Without a further word, she balled a fist and swung a forearm across Laura's face, hoping to keep her nicely stunned, before rolling off of her, trying to get back to her feet to take on the powerhouse that was Artemis again...

She shoots, she scores.

Important thing to remember that every movie Artemis starred in was an action movie. Her job was basically throwing people around for a living, through windows, against walls, off buildings, and yes, into other people. If one day on the set passed without someone being thrown, it wasn’t a good movie. That was her philosophy, worked out so far.

Case in point, the woman she’d just thrown came down like a human-sized meteorite onto the rest of the competition. The crowd watching from a relatively safe distance let out a cacophony of excited cheers and applause. Artemis certainly wasn’t one to miss a chance to admire her work. She looked back over her shoulder, placing a hand on her hip and flexing her massive right bicep for the stationary camera, growing a wide, crisp white smirk. She made sure to get her handiwork in the background too. Get something for the editors to work with.

In her showboating, though, it probably would have helped to recognize she was still the lowest on the hill. So giving her competition time to recover probably wasn't the most strategic decision.

Right. Onward and upward.

She came charging up the hill with a champion’s sprint, putting those long legs and thick quads to use with a wide stride. As she reached the halfway point, her eyes were on the two women already making their way to a speedy recovery. Her goal was the top of the hill, obviously, but there was nothing wrong with a bit of prudence. Kill two birds with one stone, literally. Her arms reeled back as she approached, throwing them forward at the last second in her sprint to knock both Eka and Risako down with a lariat each.

Mimi Yoshihara didn't exactly feel very good after having had Risako's body flatten her against the floor, slipping down just a little down the hill as she groaned and coughed out, because of the air that had been expelled when the surprise panther canon ball had been sent towards her.

PETA would have a field day if they knew that jungle cats were being tossed around like this. Though Mimi tried to gather her senses, shaking her head as she would roll away and star to rise up, she groaned and got up to her knees, only to see Artemis run towards Eka and Risako... and by as a side, she was kinda close...which meant.

Mimi tried to dart in after Artemis, aiming to come in to prevent the bigger woman's attack by going low and looking to snag the legs of the running Artemis with her own legs and send her tumbling down with a drop toe hold! Also who knew, if she sent Artemis tripping, maybe she could put some faith in her long time rival's skills in making use of that window of opportunity.

Finally, slowly, painfully, Eka pulled herself back onto her two feet. The suplex would be enough to keep a champ down she thought, and she was not aided greatly by the fact that a whole human woman was thrown against her. But, through all of that, she stood. Her blue eyes were cast upwards. The Georgian girl was not that far now, and there was no one between her and the ring. With aching legs and a full heart, Eka stated up the hill once more.

And then immediately came crashing down to the earth once more. Something had slammed into her, and she tasted the grass of the hill for the second time in two minutes. Eka groaned. She reckoned it was going to take a lot longer to get up and rolling once more, and worse still, she didn't even see who hit her...

That...kind of worked.

If she was being fully honest, Artemis wasn’t even entirely sure what ended up hitting her. The plan seemed straightforward enough. Two people had their backs to her, she’d run up and hit them from behind. SImple. Only, just a moment shy of the moment of truth, something - or someone - snagged her leg out from below her, leaving her to tumble forward with her arms wide out and flailing in the air like a car dealership fly guy.

The shining light in all the darkness was that she’d managed to hit one of her opponents in her spastic plummet forward. Hopefully, Eka wouldn’t be needing that face again for a few days. Artemis wasn’t sure where Panther had ended up in that mess, but her mind wasn’t really prioritizing her. It was too busy bracing for her massive body for impact without her arms there to break her fall.

But hey, one out of two ain't bad, some people would say. Artemis was having a hard time empathizing with those figures, though, as she tumbled toward a face-full of grassy agony.

Laura was surprised to find a pretty woman laying on top of her when she opened her eyes. Looking up at the purple haired panther immediately made the muscular athlete blush as she stared. Risako would be the first to speak, as she greeted Laura somewhat awkwardly. That made sense, though, considering this was in fact an awkward position. Especially considering one of the queen's hands was on her breast.

"Uuuuh...Hello...ACK!" Laura would respond before Risako punched her in the face! The muscular woman wasn't sure if her opponent realized where her other hand was, but that didn't matter now that a fist was greeting her cheek. Somewhat stunned by this attack, Laura would do the only thing she could think of, try to power out. And so the iron woman would try to push her legs up and send Risako further down the hill. After all, the hill and gravity would help her do some of the lifting.

Risako felt the shock of impact run up her arm as she slammed into Laura's face. In any other circumstance, the punch would have been enough to stun her opponent, to keep her floored, to either leave her vulnerable to a follow up or to allow Risako time to go after her and attack fresh prey. None of those things happened: instead, Laura pushed her legs up-- a simple, innocuous one, but a superbly effective one all the same. Standing as she was on the slope of the hill, Risako gave a great cry of alarm as she lost her footing, and went tumbling ungainfully down the side, grunting and gagging with each bump in the hillside.

She was unaware that her sudden fall had just allowed her to dodge Artemis' sudden attack. At that moment, all she cared about was the indignity of rolling halfway down the hillside. Bruised, she slowly pushed herself up to her hands and knees, face set in an angry grimace...
