Mako "The Shark" Adachi VS Makie Akamatsu

Mako thought for a second she might've won this, but at the same time, she knew Makie was too tough to stay down from everything so far. So when the woman shot her arm up at the count of two, the shark merely sighed. Then releasing her opponent's leg, the shark would slowly pull Makie back up by her dark hair and shoulder.

"You're tougher than I thought you'd be, short stuff...but I am NOT going to let you win this..." Mako would say before trying to drag Makie back to the barricade. Then with her hand still holding onto the woman's hair, the shark would try to sit her up on top of the barricade. If Makie was still stunned enough to stay there, Mako would try to superkick her right to the jaw and knock her off to the ground below!

Makie's chest was pumping hard as Mako finally rolled off of her. She was still out of breath from that last blow to her chest, not to mention that her ribs were hurting from the impact of Mako's heavy boots-- it actually hurt a little to breathe, and Makie began to wonder if Mako had broken something. She put it in the back of her mind: right now she was in a bad state, and the last thing she could afford was to be at the mercy of a more powerful wrestler like Mako.

Gingerly, she tried to will her body to move, but it was slow to respond. She gasped a little as she felt Mako grab her by the hair, and she was pulled up unsteadily by her blonde opponent. A few seconds later, she was hoisted up onto the barricade, swaying dangerously on it as she barely managed to retain her balance. Still breathing hard, she looked up and saw Mako step back before snapping up a kick at her.

Gasping, Makie would try to catch Mako's foot before it hit her face. If she managed that, then she would huff for breath and snap her legs up around Mako's knee, before leaning back, hoping to unbalance Mako while falling over the edge of the barricade, hoping to stretch her opponent's leg in an impovised legbar/boston crab/whatever over its edge!

Mako was completely shocked to see that Makie could catch her foot in this sort of position. The shortie seemed spent, but here she was, holding the shark by the foot. What was worse, though, was that the dark haired woman would lean backward. Her arms and legs wrapping around the shark's limb and locking it in some sort of a make shift, but still incredibly painful, hanging legbar!

Mako would cry out in pain as Makie's entire weight was put on her leg. Plus as the woman fell, her crotch would smack against the barricade! Leaving Mako in a lot of pain as she sat on top of the divider with each leg on a different side. But the pain only made her fight to get out even harder.

"FUUUUUCK! Let go! Let go! Let the fuck go!!!" she cursed while thrashing her leg wild in an attempt to break free. The movements only put more pressure on her leg and ankle, though. With little options left, the shark would fight to lift her other leg over the barricade, and use it to kick downwards at Makie's head! Meanwhile, her hands would keep herself up by holding onto the divider, that way she wouldn't fall down into a more dangerous position.

One of Makie's favoured moves was the Titan Slayer, a legbar submission that, when applied, could wring a submission out of a larger opponent or at the very least severely limit his or her mobility. Ideally, Makie would have preferred to execute the Titan Slayer on the mat, with Mako facing downward so that she couldn't fight back as effectively. However, given the circumstances, here was as good a place for her to execute the move. Unfortunately Makie had hoped that Mako would be completely unbalanced and left hanging over the other side: as it stood, Mako was now straddling the barricade, though that didn't make the hold any less effective as Makie stretched away at Mako's leg.

It did, however, mean that Mako could get a shot in at her head. "UGH!" she grunted, the blow causing her to release Mako's leg and crumple to the arena floor, clutching her head. "Uhhhnn..."

Mako was lucky to be able to kick the Lil' hurricane off her leg. Any longer and she'd be in big trouble. But at the same time, Mako was already in a lot of pain. The hold seriously did a number on her leg, and the shark would fall down on her ass before grabbing her leg. Nothing broken or strained, but it was definitely going to be sore tomorrow.

"Ugh...nice try...shrimp...stay their for a sec...I'll be right back." Mako would say as she stretched her leg out a bit before she tried getting back up. It was harder to put weight on it than the other, but the shark managed to stand. Then she would head over to the ring and start looking under it quickly. Mako managed to find just what she needed after a few moments. A trash can.

The shark would then pull it out from under the ring and make her way back towards Makie with a slight limp. Mako didn't plan on holding back in this match, so she wouldn't hesitate about bringing out the big guns. She fully expected the same from Makie, after all. And if the shortie didn't go the distance, then that was on her.

Makie had a faint ringing in the back of her ears as she reeled from that kick to her head. Clutching her forehead, she lay on her side, kicking uselessly at the mat as she tried to shut out the throbbing in her skull. Breathing hard, she managed to get her knees under her, and then slowly propped herself up, breathing hard as she pushed herself up to her hands and knees.

She looked up, and saw Mako limping towards her with a trash can. Definitely not got. She tried to stand, but her world swerved, and she blinked furiously as she fought to retain her balance. She had to do something-- one hit from that trash can might be game over.

"Nnnngh...dammit..." she moaned as she tried and failed to stand...

Mako would watch as her opponent tried and failed to get back up. It seemed that Makie was finally reaching her limit. So was the shark, but she still had enough to finish this. So when she finally reach the woman, Mako would raise the can above her head as she stared down at her opponent.

"Sorry about this...I'll try to make it up to you somehow when you wake up..." the shark would explain before she swung the blunt, metal weapon down towards Makie's head. If it managed to connect Mako was willing to bet her opponent would be out cold. It was a brutal way to end things, but the shark could've done worse. Putting her in the garbage can and repeatedly hitting it with a chair, for instance, was much worse.

If successful, Mako wouldn't hesitate to drop down, hook a leg, and go for another pin. Still, the primal, fighting obsessed side of her kind of wanted the match to keep going. She couldn't have it both ways, though, so Mako would have to settle with one option or the other.

Makie was unable to get up in time as Mako bore down on her with her improvised weapon. "FUCK--" she shouted, bringing her arms up to block the blow. She let out a sharp cry of pain as her forearms took the brunt of the blow, pain shooting up them as they blocked the trash can, but the force was enough to sending her crashing onto her back, moaning in agony. A second later, Mako dropped down on top of her, leaving her gasping again from the impact as her leg was hooked.

"ONE...TWO..."

Letting out a loud yell, Makie kicked out again. She was hurting in more places than she could count, and her body felt like it was slowly shutting down. She had to find a way to turn this match around, and fast.

Mako was shocked as Makie broke the pin. After hitting the woman with a trash can, and leaving a huge dent in it from the impact with her foe's face, the shark had thought she'd won. Obviously Makie was much tougher than the average shortie. An argument could even be made that she was the toughest shortie on earth. So after cursing under her breathe, Mako would slowly push herself back up and pull her opponent up by her shoulders.

"Come on...you're a real glutton for punishment..you know that right?" Mako would say with a slight laugh as she got Makie back up. "Hehe...I guess I like that about you, though."

Then the shark would attempt to to pull her opponent forward by her arm, before suddenly whipping her towards the barricade. Mako would whip her so hard that she'd collapse onto the floor. Not just to gain extra force, but because her leg was acting up. Hopefully this would knock her opponent's fight out cold, because Mako was running out of things that she could throw at Makie.

Makie only had a few short seconds to catch her breath and kick weakly at the arena floor before Mako grabbed her by the shoulders. The other girl was relentless, and Makie could tell that she was not going to stop now that she smelled blood. She groaned as she was dragged stumbling up to her feet, before Mako suddenly threw her and Makie flew.

Well, she didn't fly, but she was sent running too fast to stop across the arena floor, back towards the barricade. Makie had only a split second to react before she suddenly leapt, vaulting over the barricade instead of slamming into it. She managed to avoid seriously hurting herself that way, but still ended up smashing back first into the arena floor, groaning and slowly turning on her side. "Aahhhh..."
