Mako "The Shark" Adachi VS Makie Akamatsu

Mako may have escaped the pin, but as she quickly rolled onto her belly, Makie would crawl after her and straddle the predator's back! The smaller woman was intent on punishing her that was for sure, and the shark liked that intensity. Such a bloodthirsty attitude was always a plus in her book since it made for great fights!

"Grrr...Not so...fast!" Mako would shout as she attempted to squirm free. But as Makie was about to trap one arm, the shark knew she needed to go on the offensive! So with a groan, Mako would try squirming just enough so she could try to send that arm flying back and hit the woman's face with a few elbow strikes!

Makie was grinning now as she straddled Mako's back, wrenching the other girl's arm painfully behind her back. After Mako's initial trash talk, it felt good to be in control now. As she moved to wrench back one of Mako's arms, she casually remarked, "Looks like I'm about to reel you in, sharkie. Come on, I want to show the audience what I just caught!"

Before she could lock in the camel clutch (or unleash another barrage of fish jokes), Mako's arm shot back, hammering Makie in the face. "UUUGH!" she gasped, her head snapping back from the blow. She instantly collapsed onto her back, releasing Mako as she clutched her face with a groan. "Nnnngh...bitch..."

"Hah! Like I haven't heard that one a hundred times before!" she would bark back with a fake ass laugh after hearing Makie's fish joke. "It's not even that clever!"

Mako would then let out a sigh of release after managing to strike her opponent's face, which knocked the woman off of her back. She'd only gotten a lucky shot, though, and the shark didn't want to rely on luck a second time. So with Makie down on her back cursing at Mako, the woman would smirk as she got up on two feet. Then the shark got behind her opponent quickly, and when the hurricane was about to stand up, would leap into the air.

"Try hooking this!" Mako would shout as she jumped up while maneuvering her body to deliver a killer drop kick to the side of Makie's head! The shark was putting everything she had into shooting out her legs to connect with the woman's skull! The fish joke however...could've used a little bit of work.

Staggering away from Mako, Makie clutched her face, angry that she had let Mako blindside her like that. Shaking her head, she turned around again to face Mako--

--and felt the shark girl's boots crunch solidly into her face. Everything went white for a brief second, as Makie was completely floored by Mako's attack. The crowd screamed in disbelief and excitement in equal measure as the drop kick landed: Makie, for her part, could only groan slightly, shaking her head a little as her skull rang from the heavy impact.

Mako didn't have the best view as she sent her opponent crumbling down to the ground, but she could tell it was painful. And she knew that as a fact, because when her feet struck Makie's face, even the shark felt a bit of pain from the hit. That wouldn't stop the woman from getting back up, albeit with a quick stumble, and throw her fists in the air.

"YEEAAHHHH!!! THAT'S HOW I BITE SHORT STUFF!!!" Mako would roar as she turned back to the woman that was sprawled out on the mats. The shark didn't press her advantage, though, as she simply sat down on top of Makie's chest while hooking both of the woman's legs for the pin. Mako's back was currently turned towards the hurricane's face, which meant her rear was practically on top of her opponent's face as she leaned with both of the shortie's legs in tow.  All that was left was for the ref girl to slide down and start the count...

Makie's skull rang from the impact of Mako's boot as she lay on her back, her head tilting from left to right as she groaned and tried in vain to regain some sense of the world around her. She was aware of her fans screaming for her to get back up, and damn it, she wanted to...but the mat was feeling so damn comfortable right now, though...

She felt a solid weight on her chest at that moment as her leg was grabbed. Opening one eye, Makie saw Mako...or rather, Mako's butt as the other girl straddled her in a humiliating pin. Her face reddened as she realized that the shark girl was deliberately going out of her way to taunt her.

"ONE--"

The ref girl barely started the countdown before Makie twisted sharply, breaking the pin count. Her head still swam from that blow, but she wasn't going to let Mako have her way so easily...

Mako hadn't been trying to humiliate her opponent with that pin attempt. In the moment she had only been trying to get the best possible grip on Makie's leg to keep her down. Despite her efforts though, the shark would find that her opponent had a lot in the reserves as she managed to twist her shoulder and body to break the pin to stop the count at ONE. The fierce predator cursed Makie's quickness, but since she was still on top of the woman, Mako would shove away her opponent's legs before turning around as she stood back up on two feet.

Then without a moment of hesitation, the shark would send a grounded knee strike to Makie's upper chest, around her collar. "HAAAA!" she would shout as the attack closed onto it's target. And if successful, she'd send another directly to the little Hurricane's face. The first blow served to stun Makie by interrupting her breaking, while the second was simply to ring the woman's bell and leave her dazed.

Mako just knew if she pulled this off, her opponent would certainly be reeling...which also made her think that she just had to stop it with all these fish puns. They were really starting to agitate, as well as annoy her.

Makie huffed as she felt Mako stepping off of her. She knew she had to get up herself, to fight Mako on a somewhat even playing field...but the shark clearly had other ideas. In an instant, Mako's knee came crashing down, slamming into Makie's chest. The blow caused her legs to kick up, and she coughed loudly,reflexively grabbing her chest as Mako's blow drove the air from her lungs. She wheezed hungrily for air---

---and didn't see the second blow coming. Mako's knee slammed against her forehead. Lights exploded across her vision. She gave a silent scream of pain as the hit sent her rolling to the side, clutching her hurting forehead. Here on the mats, Mako was just stomping her at leisure, striking down at her while she couldn't strike back. She gritted her teeth, trying to get some sense back at her vision swirled...

Mako's knee strike struck Makie just as planned, each of which would make a cringed worthy smack as they landed. The shark didn't cringe easily, though. In fact, she watched most of the SAW films without flinching. Violence was pretty much like a second nature to her, and she loved it. The hurricane was looking pretty winded after taking the knee to the chest and then the head, which gave the badass fighter an idea as her opponent kept wheezing on the mat. So after landing both knee strikes, Mako would walk around Makie as if see were about to land a killing blow.

The shark was living up to her name as she ominously stalked the grounded woman, and then...the time came to strike. Mako would walk back a little bit before charging forward at Makie as she slowly started to shout out "rrrRRRRAAAAHH!" Then as she closed in on her target, the shark would jump up and try to deliver a double foot stomp straight down to the shorties' chest.

Mako was targeting the woman's chest for one big reason. To be quick fighters have to breath, and her opponent was proving to be relying on her speed a lot. So sure the shark could try wearing down her ankle or knee with strikes, but she had a better way to do it. The predator was going to lang as many body shots as she could in an attempt to disrupt her opponent's breathing. That way Mako would be taking away Makie's endurance as well as stamina, which should slow the woman down overtime with enough body shots.

Makie's chest was hurting quite a bit at this point after Mako's repeated stomps. She felt weak as she gasped for air, rolling away to try to get her bearings. Her head hummed fully after that blow to her skull. Dazed as she was, even an idiot could see that she was in a bad spot.

Flopping onto her back again, she saw Mako circling her like the predator she was, a suitably bloodthirsty look visible in the other girl's eyes. She looked like she was closing in for a kill. Hurting though she was, Makie waited for her opponent to go for that kill.

Then, as Mako brought her foot slamming down again, Makie opened both her eyes, grabbing at Mako's boot before it could hit her. At the same time, her legs snapped up around Mako's fore leg, and she twisted, hoping to bring Mako down to the mat. If she did that, then she would waste no time applying the Giant Slayer, her trademark legbar submission hold, locking her heels around Mako's thigh as she pulled and twisted viciously as her opponent's trapped leg.

She would have made a comment at this point about the shark being reeled in, if she weren't so out of breath.
