Mako "The Shark" Adachi VS Makie Akamatsu

Mako was in for a rough time as she turned around just to receive a kick to the face from the hurricane. Stumbling back against the turnbuckle, the shark would groan as she brought her arms up to guard against several more that Makie was sending at her. Each one landing with a good amount of force to her as she grit her teeth and continued to block the strikes.

"Ack! God damn-Urck! Fuck!!!" Mako would grunt and curse as the blows sometimes broke through her guard, causing her to slide a little bit down the corner each time. She was still on her feet though, and would stay that way until her foe changed attacks.

Mako was trying to stay on the defensive for the moment, but when her opponent suddenly went to lock her arms around the shark's neck, she knew it was time to counter, and fast! It seemed like Makie was attempting a snapmare or bulldog of some kind as she began to run forward, but the top predator wasn't going along for the ride as she attempted to break free by shoving the hurricane's back forward from behind.

"Gggrrrr...let go shortie!" Mako would growl as she attempted to send the woman running farther forward. Hopefully Makie would run straight into the corner, which wasn't going to give Mako a lot of time to recover, but at least it would be something.

Grabbing a hold of Mako's hair, Makie was all too ready to use her opponent's size and weight against her in a judo toss. Mako, however, recovered quickly, and used a simple but effective counter against Makie-- slipping her grip and shoving her towards the corner as she broke into a run. Alarmed, Makie was unable to halt her own momentum, turning just as she slammed into the corner.

She winced. She had been able to block that with her elbows, but it still hurt like a bitch. Seeing Mako recovering, Makie wasted no time in initiating the attack again, running around her and faking a vlothesline-- only to instead kick her legs up at the last minute, aiming to latch them around Mako's head and swivel her body around to take the shark girl down with a hurricanrana!

Mako was on her belly after shoving her opponent forward and into the corner. The shark had taken a bit more damage than she would've liked, but she was eager to deal out twice as much onto Makie in return.

So with the woman charging back at Mako as she was starting to get back on her feet, she did the one thing she did best. Attack! The shark would quickly shoot forward as her opponent closed in, and with a quick hop, she'd try to bring up and drive her right knee straight into Makie's body. She may have came at Mako with a clothesline, but considering the shark's height and her opponent's, she had expected a fake out of some sort.

And considering Makie went airborne as Mako came at her with a knee strike, it looked as if she had been right! Which put a simle on the shark's face as she was seconds away from striking the hurricane full force!

Running back at Mako, Makie immediately went on the offensive, kicking up at the shark girl to give her yet another taste of her striking power and agility. The plan, at the time, had been to latch out with her legs and take her down in her trademark hurricanrana...

...or at least, she would have, if she didn't suddenly take a knee to the belly instead.

"OOOOF!" Makie gasped, the impact knocking her upwards off the mat for a brief second. She landed on her feed and stumbled away from Mako, huffing for breath after that nasty impact...

Mako smiled as her knee struck the hurricane right in her gut, causing the smaller woman to stay airborne before landing on her feet. The shark was surprised Makie managed to stay standing, but as she stumbled back, the predator couldn't just stand back and watch as her prey escaped. NO WAY IN HELL!

"Come here Makie-chan!" Mako would shout in a taunting tone to get the shorter woman all mad before charging. Usually people would avoid this to keep fights civil, or do so to make an opponent sloppy. She however just wanted to set the hurricane's fighting spirit on fire for the best fight possible.

So after Mako would charge forward with that fierce smile of her's, she would try taking advantage of the fact that this was a boundary-less match. Meaning she could take Makie anywhere she wanted, and to start, the shark would try to grab onto the seemingly dazed woman's shoulder and collar before throwing her right between the ropes for a hard impact on the floor below.

Makie had to admit, that last blow had hurt. Up close, she was now getting a good idea of the kind of striking power that Mako could muster. Even as she staggered back though, she gritted her teeth. She had taken much, much worse in the past, a fact that Mako probably had yet to realize.

As Mako grabbed her by the shoulder, Makie gasped as she found herself being hurled towards the ropes. Thinking quickly, she jumped, her boots landing against the middle rope before she launched herself backwards at Mako...hoping to latch her legs around her bigger opponent's head and once again take her down in a hurricanrana...though hopefully this time, she would be taking the bigger girl by surprise!

Mako had believed that her opponent was too stunned to fight back after receiving that heavy blow. Sadly though...she was kinda wrong.

Sooooo. fucking. wrong.

Makie managed to land her feet on the middle rope before jumping back towards the shark to wrap her legs around her target. Which was Mako's neck like she had tried before. And this, Makie's leg caught their target.

"Oh shit!" the predator would curse before she was sent flying with a hurricanrana. Then with a loud thud Mako would land hard on her back. To say she had been taken by surprise would be an understatement. Mako had been completely blindsided by the hurricane, and was now she currently dizzy on the mat. Which made her easy pickings for Makie.

The crowd went wild as Makie's hurricanrana actually landed this time. Rolling back up to a sitting position, Makie raised her fist to the crowd s she stood back up, before turning back to her opponent. Without waiting, she ran back to the ropes, and bounced off them, running towards Mako, dropping forward with a cartwheel that would hopefully transition into a leg drop on her prone opponent.

If the blow connected, then she would quickly grab for one of Mako's legs and roll her up for a pin. It was a bit early in the match, of course, to try going for a pinfall, but it would at least do a lot to keep her opponent on the defensive, so to speak. Her heart was pumping: hopefully, this was at least all showing Mako that she had stepped into the ring with a prime contender.

Mako was just starting to pull herself up when the smaller woman came flying back with a cartwheel that transitioned to a leg drop. Then grunting out as Makie's leg came down on her chest, the shark would find herself pinned as the hurricane pulled back one leg. The ref girl would then slide onto her belly and into position quickly before starting the count off with a hard slap to the ring mat.

"ONE!" the ref would shout loudly before pulling her hand back up for another. Mako wasn't going to take things easy though as she quickly pulled her other leg forward and kicked with both to break the pin.

"Ugh...nice try...shortie..." the shark would groan with another taunt as she rolled onto her belly. Her taunts about of the woman's size wasn't doing her any favors against the hurricane, but Mako wasn't gonna stop. It was just the kind of girl she was. Tough, bloodthirsty, and a little arrogant at times. Makie may have pulled one over on her, but Mako was just getting started. Now she just needed to get back on her feet to turn things around.

Not unexpectedly, Mako kicked out of her pin attempt, almost throwing Makie off. Rolling to her knees, Makie saw Mako roll onto her belly, and immediately crawled after her, not wanting to give the tough shark girl time to recover.

"Then I hope you won't mind if I have another try, fish girl," she taunted back, straddling Mako's back. Moving to pull Mako's arms over her knees, she cupped Mako's chin and leaned back, trying to stretch the other girl in a camel clutch.
