[FWC] Diana Accera Vs Asami Asagiri - Bad Timing

The girl was impressive, Diana would give her that. Not that she'd ever tell her such. Her cheek already beginning to redden ever so slightly from those hasty jabs of the smaller beauty, Diana's attempt at cleaning the clocks of the girl went in vain, as speed defeated technique in this particular encounter. Whilst Asami did dodge her strike with apparent ease however, she gave herself no spacing to push the advantage presented to her with an Italian now caught in motion. Diana herself had often being victim to a lesson, more so than she wanted to, that often it was the best choice to take a blow in the efforts to gain the positioning to return one of greater strength.

She'd understand Asami's motives however. Diana did have the size advantage on her, and a toned, powerful figure to boot. Fighters were always precarious upon taking the first blow from their foes, perhaps out of fear that the power would be too great to cope with.

But in Asami's desire to escape the woman altogether, the ninja had left herself cornered. At first, Diana would resume her posture, tucking her head low as she moved towards the beauty. Again rolling her shoulders for the motion of a strike, she'd fire yet another huge hook, this time purposefully aiming for the woman's guard. Not only would such serve as a taster of the Italian's power without taking her foe straight out of the match, but Diana would be now given a chance to test her foes defence after seeing her offence.

Seeing Diana coming forward, Asami would move backwards, looking to keep herself just outside of the Italian's optimal striking range. She planned to dart in and out, making Diana strike and then countering while she was exposed.

But then she felt her back hit the corner, and Asami knew that her plan was going to have to take a backseat until she got herself out of there. But Diana closed in, denying her an easy escape and hurling another powerful hook. This time, with nowhere to dodge to, Asami put up her guard, arms guarding her face as she tucked her head low. Her block saved her, but her guard was also blown open, her arms lacking the strength to hold back such a strong blow and stay in position! Her lighter body was also pushed to the side opposite from the arm the punch came from as the force of the hit pushed her!

*The power behind those strikes!* Asami thought wildly. *I can't go blow for blow with her, not in a punching game!*

She would try to escape the corner by moving off to the side along the ropes, the taste of Diana letting Asami know that the Italian's punching power was no joke!

Part of Diana wanted the smaller woman to outright tank the hit; to almost literally beg for more, after Diana attempted to deliver a hook that had made larger woman crumble. She wouldn't think of any less of Asami though, as you didn't have to spend the fight looking at the smaller ninjette to figure she was one of skill and speed, not simple power. She wouldn't pursue Asami whatsoever, yet gave her no bearings for an assault of she suddenly used her position against the ropes to lunge at her.

A smile to her face, she'd extend her arms one final time, before seemingly dropping them. Whilst she had admired the moment, regardless of what occurred, she had come to the wrestling ring for a reason. Simply put, solely boxing was a concept that made the Italian yawn.

"That's that over..." Winking at Asami, she'd be keen to show her she intended now to use every aspect of her wrestling ability. Grapples of course included. Namely, by lunging at the girl, trying to lock arms around her neck and shoulder for a firm grip!

Asami knew she was in a bad way after Diana's strike opened her guard, and even with her speed, there was no way out of the corner without getting tagged with a blow of some kind. But then, Diana lowered her arms and Asami darted back to open ground.

The Japanese woman narrowed her eyes suspiciously. If Diana was going to try and take it easy on her, she was going to have to knock that notion right out of her head. Somehow. During that whole boxing exchange, she had failed to land a telling blow on her larger foe, and that worried Asami.

"What are you on about?" she asked.

But then, Diana switched things back to wrestling. Caught off guard by the sudden lunge, Asami found herself caught in the lock up! She brought her arms to Diana's shoulders and neck, but the height difference made it a little awkward. She pushed back valiantly, but the strength advantage the Italian had was apparent, and Asami was pushed back at Diana's whim!
