Alaina Sanders Vs. Diana Accera II: The End All

So here it was. Diana's last singles match in AFW. Perhaps altogether. Against an opponent that couldn't be more worthy.

Their first match a sudden one that began as abruptly and suddenly as it ended, fatigue was to be neither woman's excuse tonight as were the rules of a count out that hindered them last time. Fresh and prepared as could be, already clad in her wrestling attire, Diana paced with confidence in the back area. Regardless of outcome, this was to be a match she would remember; if anything, she'd have to remember it. It could perhaps be her last match in AFW altogether. In hindsight, she felt rather silly adjusting herself to new entrance music, fully aware that this might be the only time said song is ever played.

Speaking of said music, Cage The Beast had already begun to shake the ramp Diana's feet had soon found them upon, arms wide as the Italian entered with a smile on her face. Regardless of outcome, this was to be a fun encounter, and yet another peg on the friendship herself and Alaina had already begun to firmly develop. Arms wide yet still as she descended the ramp, the Italian would find her gaze falling from the ceiling to the ring, taking a deep breath as Diana realised the implications. Finding herself in the ring, a quick ascent to her feet, the Italian in a rarity saw fit to ascend the turnbuckle, raising an arm. She couldn't explain why she felt compelled to, nor what she expected from the crowd for a woman who seldom seemed to care for her reaction.

To her joy, a cheer was her response.

Soon pivoting and slumping in her corner, Diana turned her head to the ramp, eager to see her fast friend and soon to be opponent.

Alaina drew a deep breath as she looked herself over in the mirror, making sure her wrestling attire was perfect. She was not anxious, but this match had a lot of gravity to it. Alaina vs. Diana. A sendoff potentially for Diana, and a return to top form for Alaina. Each had a matter of pride on the line.

Alaina was determined to win, and if she could get a clean win on Diana she could do it against anyone in the roster. As her music played Alaina made her way to the ring amidst the cheers of the crowd. Despite her defeats they were still cheering. That was beyond comforting.

Alaina high fived fans on her way down, happy and feeling different about this match. For the first time in a long time she felt fulfilled. At peace. Whatever happens, happens. She was going to put on a show win or lose. She knew Diana would do the same.

Alaina smiled at Diana upon entering the ring, extending her hand.

Diana wasn't exactly surprised that Alaina's reaction somewhat dwarfed her own; a smile in fact coming across the Italian's lips, as her hands came to her hips watching on. The moment Alaina joined her in the ring, the dark haired beauty seemingly beat her to the punch; offering and then quickly latching her hand with the amazons, to give a firm shake. She'd laugh somewhat, as it became apparent both women had the same idea with such.

"Let's have a good one..." Diana nonchalantly muttered, aware such didn't even need to be said, as her hand broke contact with Alaina's. Finding her own corner again, she'd shoot the amazon a fierce grin, as she awaited the match to start.

Alaina grinned as the two shook hands. "We will, trust me on that." Alaina replied. The bell rang and Alaina circled around before moving in to lock up with Diana!

Instead of just going in to overpower, Alaina changed things up trying to grab Diana by the arm and twist behind her to start off with a hammerlock!

Alike her foe more ways than anyone realised, Diana too began to close in, not with intent to lock up with the beauty, but to remind her of the one aspect Diana seemingly had outright on Alaina.

Pure boxing.

As her hands went to Alaina's own, Diana would latch her eyes on the hands of her brunette foe, as far as she knew watching them rise for a simple test of strength. Opting to avoid locking mitts altogether, again unbeknown to the fact that Alaina intended to tear her arm somewhat off, Diana extended her right before somewhat rolling and ducking with it.

As she did, her left would rise up and across, going for a somewhat unconventional swinging back-fist; determined to start this match off by dropping a bomb on the former champion!

Alaina thought she had Diana right where she wanted her but she was sorely mistaken! Alaina felt the backlist connect and caught by surprise the force sent her down flat on her back!

Alaina rubbed her jaw, kicking the mat in a temporary daze as Diana clearly seized control early on!

Diana knew the first would hit hard, if it hit, but had no idea the surprise combined with her own monstrous striking power would outright floor the amazon. Halted in surprise but a moment however, Diana would not let the trip go to waste, as she pounced upon her foe somewhat quite literally, albeit going towards her legs over a straddling position.

Determined to build things quickly up to the greatest pace things could go, Diana attempted to wrap both of her fine legs around solely Alaina's right. Locking in something of a weak scissors, mainly with the intent of preventing that leg now moving any way she didn't want to, Diana would then clamp her hands to the foot she now locked, twisting it with maximum force from get go in a modified ankle lock!

"Let's fucking go Alaina!"

alaina felt her leg get wrapped up then a sharp, surging pain shot from her ankle all the way down her leg! "AHHHHHHHHH!" Her scream and the look of torment on her face were all it took to convey exactly what kind of pain Alaina was in. She began to feverishly, desperately crawl towards the ropes, dragging both impressive women with her! Progress was slow but there was no way Alaina could simply tap out especially this early....

She had to win this tonight, there was no way around it.

Diana had to admit, there was shock when Alaina opted not to fight her but instead painstakingly bring the two figures to the ropes. The Italian couldn't stop her; not without changing focus and lessening the intense pressure on that hooked leg. Simply instead, she chose to cost her, as much as she could; a fact she made instantly audible!

"Escape...ain't comin' free!" Suddenly shutting her mouth tight after finishing her brief goad, Diana put everything she had into the twisting of that leg now, seemingly determined to take it straight out of action!

Alaina screamed again as she reached the ropes finally! The referee called for the rope break and once free, wins would need to use the ropes to get back up to her feet, clearly favoring one leg over the other.

It would take a bit for that pain to wear off, and Alaina already had an uphill battle in front of her!
