Rematch: Megumi Vs. Seraphim- A decisive battle!

"I'm trying to understand, but you're not letting me," Megumi thought. Her eyes were blurry with tears so she couldn't see Sera's face clearly. But she knew what it must look like; it must be contorted with anger. It was a shame too, since despite her scar, Sera was actually pretty good-looking. Her thoughts got cut short when Sera slammed her head back down onto the mat, forehead first. Megumi gave off a short cry of pain. She was sobbing now, the pain filling her entirely, breaking what resistance she had left. She just wanted Sera to stop.

Her emotions were strong enough at this point that all her physical pain was long since gone and forgotten. She didn't want to stop, not until these feelings pouring out of her did. Megumi... she didn't know what to think of the girl anymore, there were feelings, Seraphim had... she loved her. But there was still the confusion, she was still considering being with Phoebe, and after what Megumi just saw, Seraphim was beyond just angry. She... just didn't know anymore. And she felt the need to continue, Megumi's pain being the only thing she could find satisfaction from.

She was built up in sweat, enough that her gray sleeveless shirt was practically see through, but her exhaustion was conquared by adrenaline and the desire to continue this. Using just her foot, Seraphim pried her foot underneath Megumi, using it to turn the girl over on her back, expecting no resistance. But... when she heard those sobs and saw the look on Megumi's face after she turned Megumi over, Seraphim stopped for just a moment. She breathing heavily as she stood there, her eye still shrunken in blind anger, and her hands slowly releasing from being tight fists as she stood there before she realized something. ...Megumi couldn't take anymore, the girl was broken down and silently begging for her to stop. At this point, Seraphim froze up, not even sure what to do anymore, as if she was waiting for Megumi to say something, her mind drowning out the cheers of the crowd to finish her as Seraphim saw nothing but herself and Megumi right now.

Megumi did not resist as she got flipped over onto her back. She could not resist, not without more pain. She knew her limits and knew she was well beyond them now. Sera's anger was something she could not face, for the destruction it could cause was beyond what she could resist. Tears ran down her face, shining in the light. Her bruised and battered body was utterly broken and in pain. She hoped Sera would find some pity for her now that she was in this state.

"Please... I didn't mean to..." Megumi said softly between gasps of air.

As Seraphim got a good, long look at Megumi's face, she felt like a large burdon came off her shoulders, instead replaced by... pity. All she had to do was lift her boot and smash that ace in, or even deliver one solid punch to the gut and take her down or an elbow drop to deliver the finishing blow. But when she heard those few words from Megumi, seeing the broken state Megumi had been subjected to, Seraphim let out one long breath, and felt her hatred slowly fade away.

..She couldn't do it. It may be easier to hate then to love, but... she just couldn't find it in her heart to hurt Megumi any more. In fact, seeing Megumi reduced to tears like that.. Seraphim nearly felt like she could cry as well. Slowly, Seraphim dropped down behind Megumi and puts one arm up between her legs, getting ready to start a schoolgirl pin. She just.. didn't want to hurt her now, after seeing those tears and her plead for mercy, there was no more malice left in her. "Megumi..." She didn't know what else to say. At this point, she felt like she had gone too far, and would probably not be forgiven for this. She didn't even care about the bet any more, she just felt... horrible about this whole thing.

Megumi was actually relieved when Sera knelt down on top of her and pinned her down. Normally she would be fighting hard, but now her spirit was utterly broken, and she just wanted it all to end. "Just finish it," Megumi said simply, turning her head off to the side and closing her eyes. she remained completely limp underneath Sera, not resisting at all.

"I guess... you win the bet," Megumi said softly.

'Damnit... why can't I just tell her the truth..?' Some of the fans were booing at Seraphim, expecting her to deliver a trademark finisher like she often had, only to be dissapointed by her choice in pinning Megumi. But Seraphim couldn't care less, in fact, her mind was filled with regret more than anything. The state she brought Megumi to, the conflict of emotions... she just couldn't find out how to express herself to Megumi. And at this point, she just wanted to finish this and leave. She couldn't do this anymore...

"1!" The referee called out, as Seraphim kept the pin, sitting herself on Megumi's stomach.

How could she keep this up. Hiding these feelings, and then running away, and balancing out things between Megumi and Phoebe. Damnit... nothing was easy. "...I'm sorry..."

Megumi's mouth curled upwards in a smile. "Sorry? I guess you aren't as cruel as you seem Sera," she said, "If you care about me enough to apologize." The pain was finally all ebbing away, though it may be because she was starting to pass out. Megumi blinked her eyes hard to keep them open. She was tired, so tired. Sera had done a good job of beating her down.

"Two!" the referee yelled. Megumi still lay there, unmoving.

Normally a comment like that would have gotten a reaction outta Seraphim that would make her act like a tough-girl again. But from Megumi, it just made the white-haired wrestler sigh lightly, almost smiling a little despite feeling like she was ready to cry. ..Why did she have to get so emotional about this all of the sudden?

"...Only for you." She said with a long sigh, having only the smallest handful of people she cared about like this, so few that she could count it on her fingers of just one hand. But Megumi was becoming something more than even that... and she didn't know how to guide these feelings.

"Three!" With the final count, the bell rang as Seraphim achieved her victory, releasing Megumi almost immediattly so she could lie there and rest. Seraphim didn't even get up right away either, looking down at Megumi, half tempted to just give her a hug or a soft kiss. She resisted such a feeling, but she decided to stay close to the girl as her victory was announced.

Megumi began breathing freely as Sera got off of her. She turned her head to look at Sera. She acknowledged her loss, for there was no way she could win against her. Not in this state, not in the state Sera put her in. She remembered the bet they made before the match, wondering what Sera was going to do now that the match was over.

It was over now.. the two of them could breath easy and move on. Even though it was her victory, Seraphim didn't feel too great about it. In fact, she just wanted some time to rest, especially before she gets to reep her rewards. It didn't even matter too much to her now, because at this point, she just wanted to have a long talk with Megumi before she was forced to fulfill her part of the bet.

So, ignoring the bet for no, knowing that the two of them were not anywhere near as capable right now to have their 'fun' from the bet, Seraphim slowly bent down, and carefully picked Megumi up. Doing it bridal style, with one hand under her legs and the other behind her head, Seraphim slowly left the ring with Megumi in her arms, heading backstage with the girl, planning to help her with her wounds and let her rest at the medical facility

It was... funny really, she had done this quite a few times at this point in the AFW, but Megumi was going to get special treatment, she cared that much. Later, Seraphim would go back to get her bracers and the special outfit she had planned for Megumi, but right now, she was more concerned about the girl's health than anything.
