Trying To Break Out (for Highfly)

Despite Alaina managing to get her hands around Melody's ankle, her hand made an audible clap with Navi's, signalling that the tag was made.

As soon as that happened, Melody fell on the mat as Alaina pulled on her ankle. As she would let go of her ankle, Melody would roll outside the ring to allow her partner to fairly get into the ring.

Meanwhile, Navi, would launch herself at Alaina, aiming to land a double axe-handle into the Amazon's stomach.

Alaina was not in any position to defend herself and Navi's flying double axe handle crashed down on her abdomen with a great force! Alaina let out a loud howl of pain as she cradled her mid-section and kicked the mat in pain, her limp kicking causing her thighs to bounce a bit with each impact.

Alaina knew she couldn't just lay there, she had to get up. However that was proving to be a difficult task especially if she was trying to do so in a timely manner. The amazon looked sluggish as she tried to get her feet underneath her and rise to her feet. She had to be better, and she had to be tougher. She grit her teeth, trying her best to ready herself for Navi's onslaught.

With her axe-handle successfully finding it's mark, Alaina was now at Navi's feet. She was still feeling the aftermath of the Amazon's earlier onslaught on her, despite her willingness to tag in.

"Just a little bit more, and she would have to go down for 3... unless", she thought to herself, gears starting to turn in her head after the last word on her mind...

Deciding to get Alaina back for the earlier Boston on Melody (as well as needing to train her own skills with submissions), Navi dragged Alaina away from the ropes, turned her stomach-down, scissored one of Alaina's ankle with her thighs, and locked her arms around Alaina's head with an STF. It was interesting for Navi to see what the Amazon would do in this situation as she stetched her back, tap out, or surprise her once again with her strength at this point?

Alaina felt her legs lock up in Navi's grip and her head was yanked back. Pain shot throughout her body as the hold was locked in, eliciting a loud scream of pain from the amazon!

Alaina reached up and grabbed onto each of Navi's wrists, and strained as hard as she could to try to pry them apart. As this went on she tensed up her legs and tried to pull them free as well, however being stuck in such a hold made powering out a difficult task!

"...there is no way I could've done this in an actual match, is there?", Navi thought as she tried to keep the hold in. She desperately tried to do that, as Alaina tried to separate Navi's arms at her head and to get her ankle out of Navi's thighs.

Despite the spar going for as long as it did, keeping the hold in was proving difficult. Alaina still seemed as strong as she was in the beginning of the spar, and Navi struggled to keep the pull on her head. But, despite that, she was somewhat managing to keep the STF in. Unless Alaina could reach the ropes, the only other choice that Navi saw for the Amazon is to tap out.

Alaina's choice to power out wasn'the getting the progress she anticipated. She desperately reached out for the ropes falling short as the hold was uncontested, with much more pressure applied than before!

She tried to claw her way over to the ropes reaching out and grabbing on! "R-rope break! Let go let go!" Alaina cried out in agony pleading for the rope break to be honored.

Navi tried to pull Alaina's head back even further, fully intent on trying to make the Amazon tap out! However, Alaina started to pull herself and Navi towards the ropes. Within 2 seconds, Alaina managed to claw hers and Navi's weight to the bottom rope and grabbing it.

Knowing she shouldn't go too far in a spar, Navi obliged the request making a mental note to practise on her submission game a bit more later.

She would roll off of Alaina, waiting for the Amazon to get up, but having a plan in mind to get the Amazon up for 3.

Alaina was much slower to her feet this time, using the ropes to help her up. Her head still throbbed and she shook it to try to regain her focus.

Alaina moved in, reaching out to try to grapple with Navi! The amazon bent down reaching between Navi's legs and around her shoulder. Alaina was in great position to scoop Navi up and slams her down... provided Navi didn't worm her way out or somehow reverse the slam!

Carefully moving in to grapple with Alaina, Navi (despite hoping to finally successfully grapple with The Amazon) would get scooped upwards by the Amazon, in a position for Alaina to execute a body slam. Not keen on having to land back-first into the canvas once again, Navi tried to slip away from the position, going over Alaina's shoulder and behind the woman.

With little time to think before Alaina turned around, Navi would get Alaina into a full nelson, before trying to lift her up into the air for a dragon suplex!

Alaina'slammed eyes widened as Navi slipped out of her grip. As Alaina was about to turn she felt her arms wrapped up as she was lift off her feet!

"Wha... no no! ARGH!" Alaina cried out loudly as she was brought crashing to the match with a thunderous, agonizing impact! She groaned and cried out as she tried to wriggle about, at least preventing herself from being stuck in a pin! However when she did fall to the match she fell limply and unmoving.
