One Totally, 110%, Extremely Serious Spar

When Feruza was a brand new wrestler in AFW, a hold like this would have made her feel bad about herself. But now, in the middle of a spar with the girl who was indisputably her #1 crush, she didn’t feel very bad at all, strangely enough. Wrestling was fun. Sure, some hurting came along with the fun, but that was the sacrifice you had to make, sometimes.

”You know you w— ach! Hey!” Feruza complained, as Eka began to use her whole body to try and pry her powerful legs off of her. And, to the Uzbek’s dismay, it was working! Her limbs began to slowly drift apart from one another, even as she exerted herself! And then, her beloved Eka hopped up a few inches, and dislodged herself from what Feruza had thought would be her secret weapon. ”Damn you! Hmph... well played, friend.” admitted the proud girl as she began to get to her knees.

Feruza smiled once more at Eka. She always looked so divine, like a Georgian goddess of beauty, as if there should be a ray of heavenly light coming down from on high to illuminate her to the world. She was the most beautiful thing Allah had ever made, thought Feruza. How she had managed to get into a wrestling match with her had to be proof of a higher power.

Eka was happy, for a few things. First, she could finally breathe again. The air of Tokyo had never felt so crisp and so refreshing as it did right now. Eka greedily breathed in, as if she were trying to suck in all of the air of the world. Second, that when she sat up, Feruza was there. She had gotten the better for the wear, no doubt, which is perhaps why she looked so radiant in the light of the sparring arena. The Uzbek girl's smile was infectious, and despite how tired and beaten she was, the Georgian girl found herself smiling too. Finally, she had a reprieve. Eka did not have to attack. She could just sit there, on her knees, and look into Feruza's eyes.

"Thank you," Eka bowed her head a little. When she did so, her dark hair fell in front of her face. With a graceful and somewhat coquettish smile, she brushed it aside. Her blue eyes were really shining now. "I thought you had me there. You were this close," Eka showed a distance of less than an inch with her forefinger and thumb, "but I, oh ho ho ho," the Georgian girl greatly exaggerated her laugh for effect, "I am far too clever for this, yes?" To put an exclamation point on it, Eka wagged her finger and smiled.

The Georgian girl was on her knees, but her tight rear was no longer resting on her ankles. She was tall for a girl, and she brought herself up. Eka spread her legs slightly, and brought her hands up. The bags under her eyes were still there, but they were not nearly as prevalent as the wide and beautiful grin on her face.

The woman in front of her was rather comely. There was something in her. The Uzbek girl had this vitality in her, and Eka wanted to be surrounded in her life force. The raven-haired girl took a deep breath in, and braced herself.

While Eka was happy to have air, Feruza was eager to go back on the offense. She loved Eka very much, but beating her in this spar of theirs would be... well, it would be really sexy. And she would have something to tease Eka about, and what was more fun than some friendly teasing? It could lead to a rematch, maybe... and that meant more fun time with her Georgian crush. With that in mind, Feruza knee walked towards Eka, laughing at what she had said.

”Yes, I was close! And you were lucky, not clever, my sweet Eka~” Feruza corrected her, as she came within grabbing range of her sparring partner. As soon as she did, she would attempt to wrap her strong arms around her waist, and squeeze her in a bearhug! Although they were not as powerful as her legs, her arms were still a force to be reckoned with. Kurash was a grappling sport, after all. You wouldn’t survive without powerful arms.

She would give Eka plenty of hugs given the chance, and this was surely the first of many in what Feruza prayed would be a long relationship. Although, Feruza’s hugs weren’t always this hard!

Eka was still smiling. She could not really give an exact reason why she was so joyful, other than the moment was what it was. The Georgian girl watched as Feruza approached. She probably should not have been looking into Feruza's eyes so much, she reckoned as Feruza began squeezing the living daylights out of her.

The ravenhaired girl did not have anything cool to say as Feruza put the clamps on her. Fortunately, her arms were still free, and she used that to push against her crush. That was about as useful as she expected it to be, which is to say not useful in the slightest. They were still on their knees, as if that was doing Eka any good.

And worse still, she had to close her eyes. The immense pain that rumbled up from her waist made her bright blue eyes shut, and she gritted her teeth. It felt as if only a second ago that she was getting her air back, and now she was having it ripped from her once again.

Well, if Feruza wanted to play that game, Eka could play, too. With her long right arm, she reached up and tried to secure a hold over the back of her neck. From there, she tried to bring Feruza into a guillotine choke. Sure, it was a little extreme for a spar, but she did not think that Feruza deserved anything other than her best.

Feruza wasn’t expecting such a brutal response, but Eka was making it clear that she was a force to be reckoned with, even in spars. Feruza’s grin turned into a grimace as she was deprived of air, making a pretty unpleasant sound as she gasped for air. ”Ggcchk!”

Her friend was very good at choking. Unfortunately, Feruza was not that kind of girl. As her face turned a deeper and deeper red, the Uzbek was forced to let go of her temporary enemy and to try and push her away before she made her either submit or pass out, whichever hurt Feruza’s pride less.

In the back of Feruza’s mind, thoughts swirled tumultuously. For each of Feruza’s power moves, Eka had a technique built to combat it. For each of Eka’s fearful submissions, Feruza had the brawn to break out of them. Their only roadblocks came when they stopped too long to admire each other. They were like a perfect match, yin and yang. In the back of her mind, this made Feruza very, very happy.

Eka felt all of Feruza. She was solid, firm, undeniable. The sound that she made sputtering in the hold did not do her much good, and Eka was beginning to feel a twang of guilt. This was one of the people she was closest with, one of her few friends in Tokyo. And here she was, choking the crap out of her. Something compelled her to release the hold a little bit, at which point Eka felt the hold loosen even more. Feruza was pushing against her now, and Eka could not maintain the hold at this angle. Choosing to let sunk costs go, Eka released completely and rolled away.

The Georgian girl rose from the canvas. Her long dark hair covered her face. A curious thought entered Eka's head, and she smiled for a second. With her dark hair covering her face, she did her best to put on as serious a look as she possible could, before throwing the hair from her face dramatically. She pointed straight at Feruza, with the pomp and circumstance of an anime character.

"Feruza, my sweet Feruza. You have learned much, yes?" She balled her fist and flexed her arm. "But there are still more techniques. Forbidden techniques, which are not taught to those of the highest order. I shall show you one such technique, yes? Eka cast her hand to the side. She had seen it in an anime. In real life, she could not quite pull it off. "Are you prepared for the, uh" Eka had just realized that she had not thought of a name for her move, "the uh, Death of Chrysippus?" Eka raised her hand high above her head. Long tumbles of her black hair flowed down her chest, and she did her best to hype the moment up.
