Navi Florges w/Melody Serperior vs Katherine Hart w/Mina Diaz II - I Quit Match!

Reinvigorated by a rush of adrenaline and the will to protect her friend, Mina strained and grit her teeth as she found the will to keep Melody at bay in the Full Nelson. She couldn't afford the energy to talk back to Melody while all her efforts were concentrated on keeping her in the hold. And those efforts would soon be rewarded. Mina had brought her friend Kat the precious few moments she needed to seal the deal by choking out Florges. Tensions rose in the arena as Navi was asked if she was ready to call a quits. Fans grew antsy in anticipation of Navi's answer.

When the arrogant blonde replied with "Never", Katherine groaned audibly. Part of her knew her foe would remain forever stubborn, unwilling to surrender even if it meant risking life or limb. The Super Kitty drove her knee deeper into her foe's spine before resuming choking her out. Despite genuinely wanting to put Navi on the shelf at this point, she chose to attempt to end the match this way. In a way that would hopefully incur referee stoppage, resulting in a hard fought victory.

When Navi's grip began to Kat's eyes widened. Karmic justice for her foe was in sight! She bit down and pulled harder on the skirt, refusing to relent until Nat was completely limp! After hearing Melody's screams and seeing Navi's hands drop, Kat didn't stop. The fabric of the skirt would begin to tear around Navi's neck as Katherine upped the pressure and kept the choke applied for several seconds after Navi had gone limp. She did so out of habit to ensure her foe wasn't feigning unconsciousness. After she convinced herself that Nat was really out, she would place a hand on her foe's chin again and reapply her Bow and Arrow finisher more conventionally.

"I can't stop until the match is called!" She said in a fatigued but audible yell. She looked towards the official and pleaded: "Stop the match and give her the loss! I'll break her back, I swear it!!" It was unlike Katherine to offer this kind of ultimatum, but given the stipulations of this type of match, and the damage sustained throughout her body, especially her arm, she knew she had to end things here and now. Forcing Navi to quit of her own free will was not an option. And that was evident to everyone a this point.

A certain serious tone had struck as the match went far beyond where it was actually intended to go and a quiet hush fell over the arena.. But that quietness was born not only out of the current circumstances, but also as the crowd slowly came to notice the figure that had just come out on the top of the rampway. The blonde haired woman stood dressed in a full black suit and white shirt with long colars overiding... Her trousers was figure hugging and the suit jacket was buttoned in such a way that accentuated the breast region, but despite this the clothing immediately instilled a strong air of professionalism and superiority about her.. Of course it could be none other than Cassandra Sellers, owner of the AFW franchise.

Behind her stood 4 officials and medics who at a simple hand signal made their way down the rampway to tend to Navi. With another signal, the ref that was in the ring immediately broke from any indecision and sought to try and dislodge Kat's grip on Navi, yelling that it was over.. The crowd voiced their displeasure, but it was more just an act of affronting the hated GM. Cassandra just stood there, the black square rimmed glasses framing her icey blue eyes as she watched all of those involved in the match. She did not look too please, but then again she was the kind of woman that was of a temperament to be indignant or discontent.

"I think thats just about enough of that..." She said dryly into the mic in her hands while the officials were even then intervening "I am calling the match to an end before there is a death in the ring." Cassandra nodded to the announcer who looked confused as to how this matches end should be announced, the winning conditions had not been met... But for the safety of Navi, she called for the bell to bring things to a close. "However, as the words 'I quit' was not uttered by either contender, this will go down as a draw." Cassandra finished to clear the confusion

From her vantage point, it was difficult to see what was going on around her, but Kat could definitely tell that the mood of the atmosphere in the arena changes significantly. The general manager and her staff had entered to the sound of no entrance music. But their footsteps and clamoring were quite audible. Although she could perceive the presence of the staff, it was no cause for her to stop. The masked wrestler continued applying her finishing hold to her now unconscious foe! And fought to keep Navi within her grasp. At least, she did so until she heard from the mouth of Cassandra, herself, that this contest would be ruled as a draw.

"W-WHAT!?!" Katherine cried out in shock and surprise. Her voice echoed throughout the arena, whose crowd was nearly silent due the somber and serious tone. She adjusted her hold on Navi and placed the sole of her boot on the blonde's back before kicking and pushing her off her person, making it easier for the medics and miscellaneous staff to tend to Florges and collect her for medical treatment. Of course, Hart had no intention of legitimately ending her rival's life. Their conflict had simply escalated to the point where both women were willing to injure the other.

It would take her a moment to fight through all the fatigue and damage she endured throughout the match, but eventually, she'd find her way to a kneeling position and then a standing one. Throughout her conspicuous struggle to get to her feet, it was apparent that she was rising with the intention of protesting the call. And rightfully so, at least in her mind and the minds of many fans in attendance. The events transpiring tonight were lining up to the be second time AFW management would screw Katherine out of a win she'd earned. And this time, she was determined to air her grievances to the woman in charge, Cassandra, herself. She made eye contact with the general manager the entire time she fought her way to her feet.

As Kat finally let go of Navi, she kicked her unconscious body over to the concrete, allowing the medics to finally tend to it, as they tried to put the bloodied blonde on a stretcher.

Melody, still held in a full nelson by Mina, was as surprised as everyone when the owner of AFW, Cassandra Sellers, interupted to put an end to the match for Navi's own safety. What concerned her was Kat's reaction to the news about the match being ruled a draw. She growled as Kat kicked Navi off of her knees, and then, slowly, got to her feet. She could see it in Kat's eyes, she was going to go towards the owner of AFW and wanted to complain to her. 

Melody's heart skipped a bit. Not thinking straight, she started thinking what else Navi could endure, even after the match was over, with the worst possible outcome being that the match would continue from this point on.

Once the thought crossed her her mind, she started headbutting Mina with the back of her head, right on the nose, completely unconcerned for the manager's well being. If successful, and once Mina let her go, she would rush at Kat, turning the masked woman to face her.

"YOU MURDEROUS CUNT!!!", she screamed as she sent a left punch right into the most red, most hurt spot on Kat's face

Mina had done a decent job of keeping Melody at bay long enough for Katherine to trap Navi long enough to drive her to the point of unconsciousness. The manager's strength was adequate enough up until this point, but seeing Navi's lomp body tossed aside lit a fire in the green-haired woman. In a fit of indignation, she burst free from Mina's hold after throwing her head back to headbutt her on the nose!

Diaz would shriek in pain and put both hands on her nose and face as Melody escaped. Serperior would hit Kat with a stiff punch aimed directly at the bloody area of her face! The Super Kitty would have only barely reached her feet by the time the strike connected. She would stagger back and nearly falling. After stumbling a couple steps, she'd place her hands on the ring apron, barely catching herself. She panted hard and held her head down for a moment in an attempt to collect herself once again. At this point, Mina would see her friend in such a state and race past Melody to be at Kat's side.

With a blood dripping from her nose, she'd glare at Melody intensely and then at staff members that escorted Cassandra to the ring, the ones that weren't tending to Navi. "This green haired freak isn't gonna stop! Are you people gonna detain her or are you gonna wait till you have to carry two women backstage in stretchers?!?" She cried, pleading for some level of assistance or order to be brought to the situation before Melody could put Kat, Mina, or both in the same state as her best friend, Navi. After this outburst, Kat would tap Mina and to be brought a microphone if Melody was forced to let up.

As Melody stood over Kat, people watching, both in the arena, medics, staff, and the ref knew Melody wasn't done. Practically consumed by anger, the green-haired woman wouldn't be done until Kat was in the same unconscious state as Navi.

"Stand up. Stand up and face me, you...", Melody would say sharply to Kat before she would wind another punch at the woman's face, before she was interrupted by Mina, who ran over at Kat's side to defend her, before she screamed at staff to get Melody away from here.

"Stay out of this you...Hey! Let go of me!", Melody would react as staff at the ringside, including the ref would seize her by both her arms, and tried to drag her away from Kat. Despite Melody's rage, even she couldn't fight off 4 people holding her. She gave up her attempts, and allowed herself to be taken by the guards, who started leading her towards the entrance ramp and towards the backstage area, as the medics finally got Navi on a stretcher, and were ready to carry the unconscious blonde away to backstage, and into the ambulance...

"You heard me..." Cassandra said coldly as Kat flung her one worded question at her as if it had been a cuss instead... But despite Cassandra's intervention, things continued to escalate with Melody and Mina. With an exasperated sigh, Cassandra gave a hand signal that moments later saw the officials intervening and detaining Melody.

Cassandra continued to stand tall at the top of the rampway as Melody was being escorted up towards the exit

"Now then.." Cassandra said as she flicked at squint in Melody's direction briefly "I presume that is all, unless you wish to be escorted out too." The domineering blonde put to Kat pointedly

Kat struggled to keep herself up but after some brief stumbling, she'd walk to way towards the entrance ramp, seemingly in pursuit of the blue-eyed woman. Though battered and bloody - her mask poorly adjusted on her head, she smiled when Cassandra inquired about escorted her out of her arena. This prompted Katherine to chuckle audibly, garnering some concern from her manager, Mina. After getting that involuntary response out, the "Super Kitty" would raise the microphone she procured earlier to her lips and offer an impassioned rebuttal.

"HA! Escort?! You guys, hear that...? You know, it's funny. You spend all this time wrestling match to match, putting your livelihood - literal blood, sweat, and tears on the line night after night...and then you meet the GM. Who'd ever imagine that she'd be such a comedian, haha!" She shook her head with conspicuous disappointment.

"No no no no. I'm afraid we're not doing that, Cassandra. Miss Sellers, whatever it is you prefer to be addressed by. Because you see, I'm normally not the first in a group to step outta line. I pay my dues, I get the job done. I prove myself inside and outside of that squared circle day in and day out." Kat pointed to the ring, still littered with chairs, sweat, and blood from her match just now with Navi.

"And I've been doing that for almost a DECADE, now!" The purple clad wrestler balled her fist and yelled her last sentence. After waiting through the crowd reaction to her declaration of her time spent being dedicated to professional wrestling, Hart continued."And in all my years, all my matches, I have NEVER seen an 'I Quit' match end in a draw because one person couldn't continue - in fact, I've literally been in this same situation and been declared the victor in other promotions! But not in AFW. No, that can't happen here for some reason. Cassandra, do you know how my last match with that blonde prick, not you, Navi, ended? The ref couldn't use his eyes to see that I grabbed the rope so he kept counting. He saw the replays literally seconds after, they played on the titantron but he still wouldn't reverse his decision or restart the match. And now, the boss herself is here to personally see to it that I'm screwed out of yet another win that I EARNED over rookie that needed to have her mouth shut for her." She'd take a deep breath, while visibly shaking with annoyance and rage.

"So no. I'm not going to be 'escorted'." The woman said while making air quotes with one hand. "I'm going to get the win that I rightfully deserved. And I'm gonna tell you exactly how that's gonna go down. YOU are going to change your ruling and declare this I Quit match a victory for Katherine Hart due to Navi Florges' inability to continue...or I'm going to come up there and make you." Kat would finally toss the microphone aside and begin storming up the ramp, brushing aside any security that rushing at her with her undamaged arm via stiff uppercuts to the jaw.

Cassandra frowned with an expression of mild annoyance as it became apparent to her that Kat wasn't going to simply leave the ring quietly. She started out on a speech or rant to berate the GM... And not only that, she finished off things in a threatening manner as she indicated she would make Cassandra give her what she wanted.

Miss Sellers kinda assumed that the thought of the displinary or unorthodoxed punishment that would await Kat following laying her hands on Cassandra would be enough of a deterrent to make her think twice... But apparently the masked wrestler was not thinking straight or simply didn't care at this point as she made her way up the ring.

Cassandra was not in the position of backing down... Kat would fall in line, even if by force... She signalled with a hand towards the secruity staff still in between them to restrain her, but they were only able to halt Kat's progress up the ramp for a while before being flung aside by the rampaging blonde who then made a b-line towards the GM.

Cassandra was surprised by the unexpected turn of events, but she and Kat herself were about to be surprised even futher... Just as Kat was coming straight up to Cassandra with the intention of delivering a forceful upcut and without any musical introduction what so ever, a hulking figure came bulldozing out from behind the entryway just a few feet behind the GM... The 6"5 and 240lbs behemoth almost pushed Cassandra aside as she rushed the approaching masked woman and tried to shoulder barge straight into the center of Kat's chest with enough raw aggressive force behind it to potentially knock Kat clean off the raised ramp stage and down onto the hard concrete floor if Kat wasn't quick enough about catching her balance.

The masked woman showed whatever steel, grit and resolve she had left in her mad charge towards the GM. She cast aside the guards and officials with whatever force she could muster, violently shoving and striking them aside in an effort to get to Cassandra. In an effort to make good on her words and make her change the ruling for the match, even if she had to do it by force.

But with such tunnel vision and fatigue plaguing her, even Katherine failed to adequately prepare herself for what came next. As she brushed off the 6 of 7th AFW staff person to get in her way, just a few feet away from the boss, she just barely noticed a large figure barreling towards her with surprising speed and force. Before she could even get a good look at her, the behemoth made impact. The stranger violently shoved her back, forcing her off her feet and sending her down the wrong end of the inclined ramp, away from Cassandra.

Without so much as a yelp or a cry, Katherine was thrust back. She fell on her back, dazed with her upper body on the concrete. Her lower body still touching the bottom of the ramp. Having been knocked a great distance and floored left her bell/head ringing. Having this happen to her after fighting what was certainly one of, if not the most violent and grueling 'I Quit' match of her career was the kicker.

It was clear that the masked woman had finally reached her limit. She laid there with her eyes shut. Her chest and shapely bosom rising and sinking with each deep breath she took. Katherine remained sprawled out, still unaware of the identity of her assailant - the woman that ran her over as if she, herself was a motorized vehicle. Fans reacted with shock and awe as Katherine remained floored with the call, and Miss Sellers seemingly left intact.

As Katherine laid there, sprawled out in a bloody heap. Showing signs of wear and tear that would surely last, the thoughts racing through the minds of most in the AFW could be summarized quite easily.

'She fought tooth and nail until her opponent was out and then she kept fighting even after that....and she has to show for it is a draw....'
