Sonic Boom vs. Pride Queens II

Alaina grabbed Amy's legs only to get mule kicked and stumble back! Alaina groaned and staggered back. Amy rose to her feet and Alaina reached herself. She wanted to stick it to the Pride Queens, and the teamwork of Sonic Boom was going to do it.

However, Alaina needed to get any down. She backed in the direction of her corner beckoning Amy to charge her. "Show me what ya got." Alaina said as she tried to goad Amy into charging her.

Amy had been able to slip out of submission holds before and the sharpshooter she tried to lock in was no different. Instead as she rolled up back to her feet she saw Aliana moving over to her corner and standing there trying to get her to attack, Amy simply cocked her head. "Do I look like I was born yesterday? Or do you just assume cause I dress like this that I'm an idiot?"

It was obvious she wanted her to slip up and get knocked into the corner, only problem was the only things she could do was try to get her to attack which was equally as not likely to happen or just not attack and make a stalemate, which was boring both to her and the fans in attendance. Growling she moved in and looked as if she was going to lock up before going for a double leg take down so she could bring her to the floor and try to drag her away from the corner.

Well, sometimes plans backfire and there are times they really backfire. This was a catastrophe. Alaina groaned as she went down, being dragged away! Alaina needed to stop this in a hurry!

She sat up as she was dragged almost as if she did a sit up. However she reached out and sent a solid punch into Amy's abdomen to try to free herself!

Catching and dragging her down Amy hoped to get her at least to the center or even better her own corner where they could work her over for the finish like they did in the last tag match. Instead the girl felt Aliana fighting back to try and keep her from being dragged wherever Amy pleased and as she leaned in to make it easier for her she took a shot to the stomach.

"Gnngh!" She coughed as the punch stopped her in her tracks as she coughed in pain and she tried to drop a boot down on her opponent as she let go of her legs. Holding her stomach while doing so.

Alaina managed to free herself and struggle up to her feet. Alaina saw that she had an old ing, and she needed to take advantage immediately. Fighting through her own multitude of aches and pains she moved over to Amy, wrapping one arm around her head, hooking her leg with the other arm.

Alaina lift Amy high, holding her vertical before dropping her straight down on her head with a fisherman brainbuster!

Winded but not about to call it quits based on that Amy felt the sense of urgency to fight right back and keep Aliana from gaining momentum. Though the Amazon quickly moved in and tried to grab around her, locking in a fishermans hold as she was looking to set up something devastating.

Something the blonde knew she couldn’t just let her pull off. Not if she wanted to win. Holding onto the brunette tight at partner looked on she set about standing her ground, and as Aliana attempted to hoist her up Amy tried to fight from the Fisherman’s position and pull away under her struggling, laying down was never in her vocabulary.

Amy managed to wriggle about preventing the lift, but Alaina still had hold of her head. There was more than one way to take Amy to the mat...

Alaina rammed her knee into Amy's abdomen as hard as she could, then fell back to the mat still holding onto Amy's head to deliver a hard DDT by planting Amy's skull off the canvass! Not the most elaborate move, but it was a quick departure from what she was trying before, and if it caught Amy off guard she was going to have one nasty headache!

Holding on and trying to take control of the hold herself, Amy wanted to lift Aliana up instead and try to bring her down on her back but that similarly wasn't happening as the Amazon was grounded on the floor. Instead she was cut off from trying anything as she was instead drilled in the gut by a quick but powerful knee.

"Uggh!" She buckled from the knee, stunning her enough for the Amazon to drill her to the floor with a ddt! Hitting the floor on the top of her head Amys body planted up and on it before she rolled to the floor on her back. Stunned and holding her head while Aliana stood over her.

This was it, an opening that Alaina had been wanting! Amy was down on the mat for a moment, but not much longer. Women as tough as her didn't stay down very long once you finally got them off their feet. Alaina immediately rushed straight at Kyoko and plowed into her with a clothesline, trying to send the woman flying off the apron and onto the ground below!

Again, Alaina had no time to waste if this was to work. She bolted towards her corner to tag in Julia, making the cowgirl the legal lady in the battle for Sonic Boom. "Its time to finish this Julia." Alaina said with a wink, ready to do her part in the upcoming devastation of Amy, who was now isolated from her partner!

This was Julia's second encounter with the Pride Queens, and once again the team had been well prepared to keep her high flying prowess to run out of control. But fortunately, Sonic Boom wasn't a team that relied on just one person. Some earlier teamwork as well as Alaina's strength and relentless drive had worn the Pride Queen's down. And now, with Julia well rested, the two were looking at a good chance to wrap things up in a nice bow and avenge their initial loss to this team. They just had to capitalize.

Julia tagged Alaina's hand as it came to her, then immediately darted down the apron to the corner nearest to Amy and ascended up to the top rope, moving into her position for their team finisher. "You know what t' do!" she called out to Alaina.

The Amazon's part would come first. And then, Julia would have her chance to take flight one last time tonight...
