Mako Adachi VS Suzumi Ishikawa: We're Gonna Need a Bigger Cage

After driving her opponent into the corner, Mako would repeatedly strike Suzumi in the torso with her shoulder. Even grabbing onto the ropes so that she could give her strikes some extra power. So once the shark felt that she had taken delivered enough shots on the tsunami, she would start to back away from the woman as she began to make some space between them.

Keeping her eyes on Suzumi as she backed away, Mako would come to a stop a little more than halfway across the ring. And with the crowd cheering loudly for the shark, she would dash with great speed towards the woman as she attempted to land a hard double knee strike. Shouting loudly as she ran, Mako hoped to land a hard hit on the Suzumi before she could compose herself inside the corner.

Talk about from bad to worse. Make screamed out loud, flying at Suzumi. She tried to move, her sore body reacting far too slowly to escape. Mako crashed into Suzumi and she let out a cry of pain as she slumped down to the mat into a heap! Suzumi laid on the mat on her side, curling up into a ball as she covered her midsection. Suzumi was clearly falling behind, feeling like anything she tried seemed to be too little to halt Mako and her offense.

Mako's knees were able to drill the tsunami in the midsection after her full out sprint. And soon after bouncing off the woman, the shark would find that her opponent was in a good bit of pain. Now would be a good time to climb out she though, but a part of her wanted to keep the fight going, the roar of the crowd not making this choice any easier.

But in the end Mako did not wanting to miss this chance, and would quickly head over to the side and begin scaling the steel cage. Using the ropes to help her for the first few steps she would continue up, wondering how long she would have before Suzumi came after her. She had received a couple of hard hits, but Mako doubted they would keep her down too long. With that in mind the shark would have to hurry this up.

Suzumi watched as Mako made her way to the cage and began to climb. She grit her teeth and forced herself up. That woman thought all she had to do was knee Suzumi a bunch to keep her down? She was going to pay for being cocky.

Suzuni screamed as she gave chase, jumping up and climbing aftwr Mako. She had her feet firm, grabbing Mako from behind and falling back to deliver a backdrop from the cage down to the mat! The impact would hurt Suzuni too.... but she banked on it wrecking Mako!

Mako was a little more than halfway up the cage when she found Suzumi was giving chase with a shout. The shark tried to hurry a bit more as she climbed, but the Tsunami was too quick and soon grabbed onto her. “God damn it!” Mako would shout right before she was pulled off of the cage and down to the ring as her opponent slammed her landed a backdrop!

“Gah!” the young woman would grunt as she landed hard, causing the shark to arch her back as it stung and hurt like hell. Suzumi had to be hurt as well, but not as much as Mako was at the moment. So rolling onto her stomach, Mako would punch  the ring a few times. Each punch landing sooner than the last as Mako began pumping herself up until she was rapidly beating her fist on the ring. The crowd meanwhile began to shout her name overtime her fist landed, eager to see what else she could do in this matchup.

Suzumi slowly stirred to her feet in time to see Mako punching the mat. She stepped back and then moved forward, swinging her leg around to deliver a hard soccer kick to the side of Mako's head! That would make up for her strikes earlier.. as well as teach her a lesson about overconfidence!

Mako was just about finished pumping herself up when she saw that Suzumi was almost to her feet. Quickly trying to do the same, the shark would manage to get off the ring, but with one knee still on the ground. So when a kick came at her head, Mako would pull her arms up to cover her head, which absorbed most of the impact.  

The strike still managed to knock her head back as she grunted loudly. Sending the shark against the ropes before she began nursing her left wrist which had taken most of the impact. But since she was in a dangerous position like this, Mako would reach her right arm up and grab the tope rope. Once it was in her grip, the shark would pull herself up to her feet with a groan. Her body aching from that last slam, mostly her back as it had hit the ring full force.

Mako was determined to continue as if she was still one-hundred percent, though. So as she tried her best to stand up straight while showing as little weakness as possible, the shark would bring her fists up once again to face the Tsunami. And with her adrenaline and cheers of the crowd helping a great deal, Mako would try faking her opponent out with a wild punch, and spin behind Suzumi to grab her waist from behind.

Suzumi watched as Mako got up and moved in. The punch came and Suzumi was ready for it.

She wasn't ready for the next part though! Her eyes widened as Mako grabbed her around the waist. Immediately Suzumi's left hand dug into Mako's grip and her right elbow swung back at Mako's head! She was surprised at the woman's ability to recover and hoped she could free herself from this hold!

Suzumi was not ready to wver admit that she was in over her head. However she could not deny that this was going to be a long match.

Mako's fake out did exactly as she planned, giving her the perfect opportunity to get behind the Tsunami and grab onto her waist. The shark's plan broke apart after that, though, as Suzumi was quick to dig into the arm wrapped around her, as well as sending an elbow towards Mako's head. The strike jarred it's target for a moment, forcing her to try shoving the Tsunami away and into the ropes infant of them.

Bringing a hand to were she was stuck, Mako could tell the spot was going to hurt in the morning. Suzumi was giving her one hell of a fight, and she was enjoying it. But for some reason the shark felt the Tsunami felt differently. Not giving it too much thought, though, Mako would head right back at Suzumi for another grapple. Hopefully she could get a hold of the woman's arm and whip her to the other side of the cage to crash against it.

Suzumi grappled with Mako and felt herself being whipped towards the ropes... and the side of the cage! Suzumi groaned as she planted her feet and twisted her torso trying to spin around and reverse the whip! If she could pull this off Mako would be the one crashing into the side of the cage instead of Suzumi!

She was pulling out all the stops, not wanting to give an inch in this match to the talented upstart!
