WiP: Stacking Chairs And Making Plans

Erin looked around the room, finally taking a moment to really check out who decided to come to the meeting. There weren't a lot of people in attendance, but thankfully no one there looked like a pushover. After Tara said her bit, Erin would open her mouth to begin hers. "Well thanks for inviting us. I mean I'm not super serious or anything, but I can guarantee I'm worth your time!" The red head declared with a smile.

Erin would shift in her seat, a bit overeager to get things started. "Soooo, What kinda plans did everyone have in mind?" she would ask, admitting that she was fairly clueless as to how exactly things would be working. After what just happened a few seconds ago though, she assumed introductions weren't as large of a necessity anymore.

Tara took charge of the situation and herded everyone to their seats, gathering them in a quaint, quiet area where she could facilitate discussion with her opening statement. Erin was quick to follow up. Kat thought of her as bubbly and cute.

While still seated in her chair, Kat took the opportunity to respond to the orange haired woman, as well as address the others. "I'm gonna second her on that one and thank Tara for inviting us out. I'm sure everyone here is well worth each other's time. Each of you seem pretty capable in your own right, even if some of us are a little more mischievous than others.

Kat would clear her throat for a moment before continuing. "All that being said, I think we should each throw out ideas and put it to a vote. That cool with everyone, nyah~?" she suggested this in the hopes that it would prove to be productive.

Mako listened as Tara thanked the three of them for attending, and thought she had made the right choice of coning here. So far everyone seemed pretty cool, and the shark was betting she'd get along with them just fine.

So when Kat mentioned a vote Mako would agree saying, "Yeah that sounds good to me. Tara should probably start since this is her idea after all. I mean if she wants to that is." The shark didn't have many ideas of her own but she would let people know what she thought and add onto the other's ideas if something cool popped into her head. So leaning forward in her chair, Mako would wait to see what Tara would say.

Tara would sit there for a moment, basking in praise at creating the club as she leaned back, assuming a lazy posture in her chair. When the rain of appraisals had stopped and it had fallen to the Korean to speak first, she'd lean forward, remembering that she should be at least trying to give off a confident vibe.

"Well, that's one thing to address, I guess" Tara turned to Mako, hands to her lips. "My idea is like, there's no leader between us. It's just us, practising. We don't keep track of whose sparred against who, whose beaten who and stuff like that. Heck, we don't even have to have scheduled regular meetings. We just literally turn up when we all agree, and practice and train and alike..." Tara would sit back in her chair, confident yet stern gaze to her face, somewhat feeling that her mess of words might of just gotten her point across clearly enough.

Erin listened closely to what Tara had proposed, trying to wrap her head around it. "So... just show up, shut up, and beat up?" She asked, trying to reiterate in the simplest of terms. "Reminds me of my favorite bar back home." the Irish girl said with a hearty laugh. She would quickly calm down before looking to the others. She was excited about the prospect of getting some good training in and eager to test her strength against everyone there. Since she was fairly lacking in technical skills, this was a great place to improve.

"In all seriousness though I'm super excited to get some training in. Hope we can all learn a thing or two from each other." Erin continued. She wasn't sure what exactly she could offer but the red head was sure she could at least provide a challenge for the other wrestlers.

Kat continued listening in as everyone else got a word in. It seemed that Erin was receptive to the idea. The masked blonde, herself smiled and wore an excited expression on her face as the concept of how the club would function was explained to them. She, too, was enthusiastic about being able to train and hang with a group of friends.

"Sweet. Like sort of a dojo where we just hang out and train together, whenever? But one that's secluded from the regular gym. I'm cool with that. We're gonna need to make sure we have adequate supplies, though. Mats, maybe one or two rings, a couch, food, or at least a place nearby that delivers. I'm all for kicking butt with friends, but we're gonna end up working up a sweat and we're gonna wanna be safe and all that jazz."

Mako listened to Tara as she spoke about her idea., and it seemed pretty simple. They would basically be a training club, and she liked the idea. After all she needed ta good amount of training in several areas, mainly holds. Giving and receiving them. So once Tara finished and the others had their say Mako would say, "First off this all sounds great to me. I could use some training in submissions holds".

Then turning to Erin the shark would git her a pat on the back saying, "That sounds like my kind of bar by the way. And if you want I'll take you to one of my favorite bars later and you can tell me if it's anything like your's." She was kinda curious to know how rough this Irish woman's bars were, so maybe the shark and Erin could compare bars.

Not wanting to change topics, though, Mako would add, "Oh, and more supplies sounds good too. But a couch might be a bit overkill right off the bat. Mats, a ring, and food sounds pretty awesome to me, though."

Tara sat patiently, agreeing with near every suggestion and opinion that came her way. These women definitely seemed the right sort for the idea she had in mind.

"Yeh.." Laughing, she'd agree with Mako as she turned to Katherine. "Maybe not couches just yet" Smiling as she turned back to fully face the group, Tara raised her hands as if they emphasised how serious she was about getting a idea like this off the ground in such a manner. "I'm thinking...we just stick to this room for now...hire it out whenever we need it...and sorta wing it until things start to set in tone."

Lowing her hands back to her lap, her eyes would shoot quickly back and forth between the three other women.

"Thoughts?"

Katherine nodded to agree with her fellow wrestlers. She placed a hand on her hip and leaned towards Tara before answering with her immediate thought. "So, you know I'm fighting one or more of you over them couches, right? A cat's gotta have a place to nap." She said with a raised eyebrow in a silly tone. Kat was being lax about it but was totally up to the idea if anyone re-visited the point.

She'd lean back in her chair before declaring that:"This does sound like the start of something really cool, though. I'm totally on board. And this room, itself isn't all that bad. It's pretty spacious."

Erin smiled at Mako. She would gladly join the other girl for a drink or five. "Yeah sure, anytime." She responded. Erin wasn't about to pass up an invitation to go drinking. She would soon find herself turning her attention to Kat as she spoke out.

"Well if ya want the couch, ya gotta go through me." Erin declared, sticking her tongue out at Kat. She didn't intend on being the lounge queen, but no way was Erin going to let anyone snag the couches before she did. The red head would quickly address the rest of the room. "So, do we got any more planning to do?" She asked.
