Fuck Alicia Wells.

Ugly fat-ass bitch. She needed to haul her swivel hips up onto a goddamn elliptical machine until she could wear pants without spandex in them. Big-ass cocky piece of shit.

She liked to go after her opponents after the bell huh? Liked to pick on smaller girls? Well fuck, she was practically begging for an ass kicking, probably years overdue. What an ego. What a mind-job. What a goddamn disgrace.

Spoiler:

The hooded girl, the devil of AFW Friction, or "Hoodie", as the online fans had taken to calling her, was patiently waiting for Alicia to gear up for her entrance. Tonight, the bottom-heavy kickboxer had a match against the even bigger, maybe even meaner, Amy Evans, and Hoodie was going to make damn sure it didn't go well for her. When the time was right, just as Alicia was set to make her entrance, she would jump her, break her down, pound her face in like she had with so many others so far.

For the time being, she waited just down the hall in the other direction, and with all of Alicia's attention focused toward the ring entrance she barely had to hide at all. She was leaning up against the far side of a pillar so that she could just see Alicia, at a small alcove where there were a couple couches for cast and crew. She watched the bigger woman warming up and readying herself, sneering from behind the black bandana tied over her face like a mask, counting the seconds until-

Brrrrrrrrrinngggg!

Oh, fuck!

She fumbled in her pocket for her cell phone to silence it before it-

Brrrrrin-

Phew. She looked around, and it didn't seem like anyone had heard. How stupid. She glanced down at the phone, and it was exactly who she thought it was. She bit her bottom lip and wrestled with the urge to respond, and lost. She rapidly thumbed out a series of texts.

Hey babe I can't talk right now. Sry I haven't called yet its been so crazy here but camp is going great. Everyone is super cool

I might get roped into doing a second week..... but I really just can't wait to come home

I love you so much and I miss you and I just want to come home, but I just have a few more things to do first okay? I'll call you tonight, so the morrning for you. I love you

She sighed heavily, and stared off into space for a moment. She had to shake her head to snap out of it and refocus on the task at hand.

Nikolette was hanging around the staging area of the backstage part of the Friction arena. She had the night off but was interested in the upcoming match and this particular area had fairly large monitors running the television feed for any of the wrestlers who were getting ready for the match or for anyone interested in one of the frequent open challenges that seemed to happen every show or two.

Alicia Wells vs. Amy Evans might not have seen like much of a match to watch on paper for a veteran like Nikolette. Both had only been in the league for a few months. However, it was definitely a much different story to someone who was in the business. Both had made their marks and had several matches in the few short months they had been in the league. Alicia had even already earned a title shot, coming up just short to the current champ. However, it was someone closer to home who had put the Serb's eyes on the young rookies.

Alicia had already defeated her newest dojo mate, Jesse, and one of her other mates, Gabbie, had seemed to taken interest in the girl who supposedly had fighting roots in kickboxing. For her own curiosity's sake as well as to do a little more recon for her dojo mates, Nikolette wanted a good seat to watch the action, as it were.

Settled in in a position against the wall, she was dressed in her ring gear, having worked out a bit before the show began. It was a safe bet to be ready for anything in the AFW, especially when the arena was full, even if she had no intentions whatsoever of fighting tonight.

Focused on the monitor, she was almost started when she heard a phone ring. Hardly anyone came this close to the backstage area with a cell that wasn't muted, so Nikolette perked up to see who was breaking the rules and give them a friendly warning. When she slipped down the hallway towards where she heard the noise, her eyes fell upon a girl in a hoodie.

It wasn't an unusual attire to wear, but usually those girls lurked in the stands as they waited for an abmush-

"Oh, crap."

That particular hoodie was instantly recognizable to Nikolette and her muscles tensed. The girl who had caused so much trouble recently was standing right there, rather casually thumbing out a text. Nikolette inhaled and clenched her fists. Whoever she was, she needed to be stopped, or, at the very least, identified. If she was here, it couldn't be for a good reason. She burst into a full sprint to clear the distance between them and bull rushed the hooded girl, lookign to shove her hard against the wall and pin her against it.

"Ungh!"

The girl's phone went clattering to the floor as she was slammed against the wall. She forced herself to stay silent while she struggled against this new chick, and whoever the hell it was she was going to go down fast. She wasn't going to let her screw up her plans.

Nikolette's head was pressed against her chest and she couldn't see her face, let alone punch it, so she grabbed a fistful of lush, brown hair and yanked up, her chain-wrapped fist cocked and ready to smack her in the jaw...

"Rrrrrggggh!"

Nikolette growled when her hair was tugged. The rush of adrenaline had her heart racing. As her head was yanked painfully, the Serb threw one arm up to try and mitigate what might come and paw at the chain wrapped fist. While she did, she drove her knee into the girl's gut.

With her back against the wall, the hooded girl didn't have enough space to line up a good shot. Nikolette's arm stifled anything she could've thrown at her, but when she managed to pull the girl's head up, she got a look at who was...

Oh, shit!

"Guuh!"

Nikolette's knee smashed the girl's midsection and crushed her against the wall, dropping her to one knee. Her first thought was of her mask, and she kept her head down while clutching her stomach.

The moment she could move again, she tried to escape, starting on all fours and into a run.

Nikolette backed away after the knee to let the girl drop. Standing over her, she snorted angrily at the masked menace.

"I ain't gonna let ya get away with anythin else, ya hear!?" She barked. As Nikolette was about to further disarm and restrain the girl when she saw her try and scramble away.

Quickly the Serb lashed out her foot to kick out at the masked girl's ankle as hard as she could to trip her up. She would then try to quickly reach for the girl's chain wrapped arm to tug her back up to her feet and roughly into a standing hammerlock.

Before she did anything, Nikolette needed to disarm this maniac.

Fuck!

The hooded girl went down, barely catching herself on her hands to keep her face from smashing on the tile floor. Then before she could go another inch, Nikolette had a hold of her arm and was dragging her up.

She tried to keep her back to her attacker and kept her head down, which only made her easier to subdue as Nikolette twisted her arm behind her. She kept a tight grip on her chain, and then was hit by a sudden realization...

She was in the open, facing down the hallway toward Alicia. She had been trying to make her escape in the direction of her would-be prey, and now...

Where was she?

"L-let go!" She cried out.

The first sign Alicia’d got that something wasn’t quite right had been the phone going off. A few months back, when she’d first joined Friction, she’d have thought nothing of it. Now, even as she’d been stretching and getting ready for her match, the sound had cut into her awareness, distracting her from her preparations. Not enough to make her look around but enough to make her curious. It went away soon enough, the big redhead shrugged and went back to making sure she was combat ready.

Someone else had probably dealt with it. She’d got a match to prepare for, she was up next and it was almost time for her entrance.

Tonight, she was up against Amy Evans, another relative newcomer to the league and a big blonde with a taste for the power game. And a lion theme which… Alicia sometimes just didn’t get pro-wrestlers. Oh well. She didn’t need to ‘get’ Amy Evans to get a good fight out of her, and she was hoping their styles would make for an interesting clash.

This time, the noise down the hall was unmistakeable as anything except a fight. Alicia’s head snapped around, drawn to the commotion. There were two figures fighting not too far away. As she stepped towards them, she half-recognised one as the woman Cecilia had fought at the Alaska PPV.

Tesla? That was it. Nikolette Tessla.

But it was the other which caught and held her attention. Shorter, build and all other identifying features hidden beneath her hooded top, Alicia didn’t need any to know who this was. It was the hooded girl who’d been causing havoc backstage. She’d burned the ring down and gone after Abattoir – and that was all the big redhead knew about.

For a moment, she just watched the action and then everything clicked into place. Just like that.

She didn’t know why Tessla was there. But she could take a wild guess at why the hooded girl was there. After all, there was only one reason to be lurking around the ring entrance right before a match. And Alicia’s own entrance would be ideal for a sneaky little ambush, just like what had happened to Abattoir.

At her sides, her fists clenched until her knuckles went white.

Alicia liked a fight. Always had. But that didn’t mean she at all appreciated the idea of being stabbed in the back again before a match. Bad enough Styx had got the drop on her and now this masked clown thought she could do the same? Or maybe she was just jumping to conclusions.

Ignoring the techs, the British amazon spun on her heel and began to stalk down the hallway towards the struggling women. She didn’t know what she was going to do when she got there yet, whether she’d pull them apart or… Or what.

Nikolette's ear twitched when she heard the hooded girl growl. Her heart skipped a beat for a brief moment and she yanked on the hammerlock even harder, practically trying to force the girl's wrist between her own shoulder blades.

"You ain't goin anywhere." Nikolette snarled back. "Yer reign of terror ends now, ya hear!" Nikolette paused when she saw Alicia approach.

"Alicia, help me restrain her!" The Serb commanded as she reached up for the hoodie with her free hand to expose the menace. "Once I see yer face, there won't be anywhere to hide."

Oh. There she was. She just wasn't expecting her to be right there.

Oh, fuck.

The surge of panic in the hooded girl's eyes was suddenly erased by terrible pain as her arm was wrenched up behind her. "Yyaaaaagh!" She cried out, squeezing her eyes shut in agony.

She felt Nikolette's hand on her hood, and out of desperation her hand shot back and grabbed onto Nik's wrist. She yanked the arm forward, pulling the girl tight against her back, and smashed the back of her head against her assailant's face.

She hoped that was enough to let her wriggle free, her disguise still intact, and she went for broke trying to sprint away to safety.
