It had been quite a while since Maddie's last match, and, well, it was for good reason. Her last two fights ended with her utter destroyed and humiliated at the hands of Gail, and almost resulted in her getting kidnapped and raped had Akiko and Yukiko not come to her rescue. It was one thing when she got beaten up by the sadistic heels and other tough fighters, but getting crushed like that by someone that was as much of a jobber as she was, needless to say, was a huge hit to her confidence. Ever since then, she'd pretty much only made appearances at the side of her teammates and gotten in few small scuffles, but nothing really worth mentioning. Alas, she wasn't making any money serving as little more than her team's mascot, and with little other options available to her, she had to set foot in a ring again eventually.

Dressed in her green sports bra and black spandex shorts, Maddie paced nervously around the backstage locker room as she waited for her match tonight. Akiko and Yukiko were still dealing with the aftermath of what happened at Avalanche, so they couldn't be there with her like usual. Her opponent tonight was apparently a new rookie, but without any information on her, the dark-haired jobber's mind quickly assumed the worst. No holds barred matches were really the only type she could even stand a chance, using nasty tactics to make up for her weakness, but at the same time they were her bane whenever those same tactics got used back on her. If whoever she was fighting tonight was anything like Gail, who ruthlessly tortured her crotch and tried to abduct her, Akiko and Yukiko wouldn't be there to save her this time.

A sharp knock at the door practically caused her to jump, snapping her out of her nightmarish delusions and back to reality. There was no going back now. Taking a deep breath, Maddie tried to compose herself as much as she could before stepping out the door and heading towards the arena.

As soon as her J-rock theme started up, the dark-haired girl appeared on stage, immediately greeted with a storm of boos and laughter. Even though the reaction was pretty much the norm for her by now, given her reputation for getting beaten, stripped, and humiliated almost every time, it still frustrated her deeply. Her anger temporarily stifling her fears, Maddie marched down to the ring without a bit of showmanship, sliding up on to the canvas and moving towards her corner. Thankfully, the taunting and laughing died down with her music, as the time for her opponent to appear rapidly approached. A sickening feeling washed over her stomach as she was once more filled with anxiety, as she intensely watched the stage on the opposite end.

Clara felt weird about her following match. She watched the match (or the catfight, as Melody described to her in an email), between Melody and Akiko Takamiya, and how vicious it was for both women, but she couldn't help but notice in her research the dirty way of fighting all members of Akiko and Maddie's team, Black Feathers Gang had. As such, she took specific... precautions for this way of fighting as she was put in the match with Maddie Hanezawa

THe fact that she was booked into a No-DQ match saddened her a bit. Every single one of those matches ended the same for her. Chair to the head, count of 3. Although, another thing she noticed was that none of the members of the tag team really use any weapons, so maybe this match would last longer than 1 minute for her.

Finally putting on her mask, she walked towards the gorilla position, and got the special, voice modulated mic she asked from the production crew as her theme began playing.

Smoke machines were on, and her silhouette appeared as the music began. As the 0:30 mark of the theme hit GASTER appeared from the fog, mic in hand, and made her way to the ring.

Stopping halfway down the entrance ramp, GASTER would get the mic closer to her face and began to speak, in the deep voice modulated by the mic.

"So? Gang of the Raven wanted to challange my wrath, and sent their weakest member to try and take a lord down? Well, I say they really underestimate the Lord of Darkness. But, a challange is a challange, and I am afraid I must DELETE you for my conquest of this world and dimension to continue!"

With that (and to a few cheers and laughs from the crowd for her cheesy speech), GASTER entered the ring, and waited for either the response or the ref to ring the bell as she took off her hoodie to reveal yellow sports bra underneath.

Maddie tensed up as she saw the fog emerge, staring intensely for her first glimpse of who she was up against. Needless to say, it was not at all what she expected. Rendered speechless at her opponent's introduction, much of the jobber's anxiety cleared away to make room for confusion.

Time after time, she got pit against deranged, vicious girls where it felt as though she were fighting tooth and nail just to survive. This time, that usual tense and heavy atmosphere was just not present. Just standing with a puzzled look on her face, Maddie watched as the masked girl made her way down to the ring, stripping off her hoodie.

As the initial shock wore off, some of the dark-haired girl's worries returned, knowing that just because her opponent acted like some geeky chuunibyou it didn't mean they weren't dangerous. Still though... Should she play along? She didn't exactly want to put on much of a show for the crowds that mocked her, but maybe it would at least be polite? Not like she could even tell how malicious her foe was with an act like that. Even so, she'd probably look lame if she didn't do something...

"Uh... Ha! I'm uh... I'm still more than enough to take down someone like you!" Maddie stepped forward and pointed towards GASTER, struggling with coming up how to respond, "You're not even worth Akiko-sama or Yukiko-sama's time!"

Strictly speaking, their little crew was a bit more heel-leaning, but in this case should she be playing the heroic role? Probably?

"Umm... I'll stop your evil ambitions. Uh... Here and now!"

"MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Very well then. I will delete you and then procede forward to delete other members of the Gang of the Raven!

Under the mask, Clara wasn't sure whether she would follow up on that promise even if she did win, given that Melody lost to the heavy-hitters of the group.

Getting to her respective corner, GASTER, waited until the bell rung before approaching the middle of the ring, waiting for her foe to do the same. Now without her microphone, she said in her regular voice (although trying to deepen it a bit) she said to Maddie:

"Now. Show me your strength, hero!

Thinking that had gone over at least somewhat well, Maddie just nodded firmly as the strange girl returned to her corner. Though a bit more at ease that she was before, the dark-haired girl still pretty worried if that villain act came with a mean streak to match.

As the bell rung, GASTER stepped out from her corner and beckoned for Maddie to come at her. Deciding to play along still, the petite jobber cautiously advanced forwards, watching for any sudden movements from the masked girl. Coming within striking distance, Maddie started to debate her opening move, seeing as her foe seemed to be giving her the chance. She wanted to win this match no matter what, and finally bring an end to her long losing streak. Even if she was the 'hero' here, she wasn't going to hold back.

Obviously the old trick of poking someone in the eyes wasn't going to work on someone with a mask, but there was still something that was the same in principle. Swiftly lashing out, Maddie reached for GASTER's mask, making as though she was trying to pull it off. Thinking that would make for enough of a distraction, the dark-haired jobber lunged forwards and attempted to ram her knee up between the girl's thighs.

Not expecting Maddie to go for the mask, Clara broke her character for a second:

"No!", and, instinctively, protected her face... only to realize this move was a distraction as Maddie launched a knee into GASTER's crotch...

...only for the shadow overlord to feel nothing, preparations that Clara did before hand paying off.

"Mwahahaha! Such a cheap trick won't work on me!", she said, as she got her hand around Maddie's head, planning to drive it to the mat with a simple DDT.

Maddie smirked as her knee struck her target, however something immediately felt off. She'd done this more than enough times to recognize what hitting someone in the crotch felt like, but here she felt like she impacted against something... hard?

Confused for a moment, she didn't even have the chance to ponder this mystery before GASTER wrapped her arm around her head and fell backwards, driving Maddie's skull into the canvas. Grunting in pain, the dark-haired jobber flopped over onto her back, dazed and disoriented by the attack.

DDT doing it's job, GASTER immideatly ran towards the ropes, bounced off them and ran back at Maddie, jumping up and planning to land her leg across her head with a leg drop, and would reach her leg and hook it for a pin

"It seemed my already low expectations of you were too high", she would say as ref would begin her count

"GAH!" Maddie cried out as GASTER's leg came crashing down on her face, rattling her already spinning head. Letting out a long groan, the dark-haired girl felt her leg getting hooked and her body pressed down.

"ONE!"

Hearing the ref's count stirred Maddie quickly to action, attempting to kick her leg out and push her way out of the pin. Quickly trying to roll away and get some distance, the stubborn jobber hoped to get back on her feet before her foe could attack her again.

Expecting Maddie to kick out, GASTER would stand up and would once again run towards the ropes. Planning to soften her opponent a bit more, she outstretched her hand, planning to nail the girl's head with her Clotheline as a follow up to her offence, expecting no counter attack from Maddie.
