Best 2 of 3 Falls Count Anywhere!: Mari Fuuma vs. Maddie Hanezawa

Madison sat in the backstage locker room, humming gleefully as she waited for her debut match to start. The rules were pretty intense, but the petite Asian girl was not at all worried. Falls counting anywhere didn't mean much to her; she had learned to fight out on the streets, so if anything being confined to just the small ring would have been weirder to her. As for the 'best 2 of 3' part, Maddie was actually quite excited. Self-admittedly, she was not that great of a fighter, and never had been. However she did have one strong point, and that was her toughness. Even against a strong foe, she was confident she could outlast them in a battle of endurance and come out on top in the end. This fight was going to be a great showcase for that, and prove that she was worthy of her place here.

Bashfully, she hoped her two idols, Akiko and Yukiko, were watching the fight, although she hadn't had the chance to tell them about it.

Finally as the signal was given, Maddie bolted out the door. As some fast-paced J-Rock music blared out, Maddie leapt out on the stage, posing flamboyantly. Dressed in her usual open pink jacket with only her white bra underneath, her white shorts, pink thigh-high ripped stockings and white sneakers, she hopped about to the beat of her intro music, waving to the cheering crowd. Reaching the ring, she jumped up into her corner, striking another pose throwing a cheesy V-sign in the air with her hand as her music died down. Leaning back and lounging against the turnbuckle, she waited for her opponent to enter next. She didn't really know anything about the girl other than her name, and Maddie was quite curious to what she would be like.

Mari tightened her arm sleeves as she sat near the entrance, having been brought up for her entrance after her opponent left. Another match that implore the use of violence as Falls counted anywhere in or out of the arena. Mari certainly accepted the rules of the game, she had no problem beating her opponent all over the arena or where ever it was they ended up if it meant clawing her way up to the ladder of the food chain.

She wasn't going to be lost to some hungry competitor, she wanted to be the Big Bad Wolf and make this place her hunting ground.

Mari's music soon came on to the speakers as she made her way out on to stage, dressed in her baggy black pants and black tube top that barely held in her large assets, she walked unflinchingly on to the stage as she did what was noted as her signature pose, extending her arms up in an angle while leaning to the side. Staring out into the ring at the opponent that she needed to beat as she kept her slow walking pace as she approached the ring.

Walking up the stairs, taking a slight pause with each step, Mari reached the corner post as she ascended the corner as she re-did her post. Looking out into the crowd, she then turned her eyes towards her opponent as she jumped off the top and landed on the mat as she headed towards her corner, her eyes never leaving her opponent.

Maddie shivered a little bit, clearly intimidated by Mari's unnerving entrance. It didn't help either, that Mari looked way stronger and scarier than any other girl Maddie had fought in the past. She briefly began to regret agreeing to this fight, but quickly shook the feeling, knowing it was way too late for her to back out.

Taking a deep breath and composing herself, Maddie returned to her normal, perky demeanor. Maybe this Mari just looked tough. No point in psyching herself out before things even began. Stepping forward towards the center of the ring, Maddie reached up, stretching her arms out before falling into a relaxed pose. Ready to get things started, she eagerly awaited for the bell to sound.

Crouching down in her corner, Mari continued to glare at her opponent as she noticed some small indications that her opponent was a little frighted of her. However as much as fear was an advantage to her, fear could be a great motivation to fight harder. She had to make sure her opponent couldn't find the right way to use that fear. Upon that thought, the gears in her head began to move.

The match was already a No-DQ match by the dint of fighting anywhere.

With no restrictions holding her back from a cheap shot, Mari would fling herself out of the corner to race at her approaching opponent. Hoping to catch her by surprise, Mari would attempt to start off the match with a hard hitting big boot to Maddie's face.

Taken off-guard by Mari's lightning fast speed, Maddie was caught completely flat-footed as she took a boot right in the face.

"Nnngaaah...!" Maddie cried out, as she was knocked flat on her back. Momentarily disoriented, she just laid there prone for the time being.

Crashing her boot into the face of Maddie, Mari was arrogant in the surprise attack as she didn't immediately turn around and instead chose to look out coldly into the front row crowd as her sudden attack did not earn much admirers. Instead of capitalizing on the great opportunity to capture the first pin, Mari did no such thing. Walking from the center of the ropes to the corner, Mari walked into the corner that was Maddie's as she watched her opponent prone on the mat.

Waiting for her opponent to begin stirring, Mari would approach the disoriented girl and grab her by the hair to haul her to her feet. After that she would try and throw her towards a corner to put distance between them again where she could gather momentum for another big hit as she would race in again to body splash Maddie against the corner.

Still a bit woozy, the petite Maddie was easily flung, crashing back first into the turnbuckle. Seeing Mari rushing at her once again, Maddie instinctually dove to the side, hoping to avoid another crushing hit.

The slow methodical pace did not pan out as well as Mari hoped as she went chest first into the corner. Letting out a grunt as she staggered back, holding her chest with one arm, she wandered near the center of the ring as she had little idea where her opponent was currently as it left her open for a counterattack.

Seeing her foe crash into the turnbuckle, Maddie breathed a sigh of relief that she was not in the way for that. Reeling from the impact, Mari seemed a bit disoriented, and so Maddie saw her chance. Hopping up into a crouching position, she then flung herself towards Mari, aiming to try spear her and tackle her to the ground.

Turning in the direction where she heard her opponent approaching her, Mari looked to stop her opponent's momentum before it got rolling. However all she got was a spear to the gut as it knocked her off of her feet and on to her back. She did not stay on the mat for long as she began rolling towards the edge of the ring, landing on the floor as she covered her gut.

Her intention was to walk off the hit as she lingered outside as count outs were not a problem for her to deal with.
