Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome

Finally.

Fucking finally.

Spider shoved her opponent - her unworthy, undeserving, unwashed opponent - off her knee with a contemptuous push, dumping her on the floor. As she rose, nursing the little aches and pains she’d accumulated, she had nothing but rage in her eyes. Rage that was about to get some measure of satisfaction.

She could’ve done a lot of things to Zoey. She could’ve dropped down and got her into some kind of submission hold. Targeted the legs. The arms. The neck. She could’ve hit her with a knee drop to the chest.

Spider could do a lot of vicious, nasty things to Zoey - and she would. But for now, she was content to just stomp away at the little redhead’s back, mashing her into the floor and screaming with each hit.

This wasn't a fun place to be. Not only did her spine feel like it had just been snapped like a twig, but now Spider was raining kick after kick onto her curled up body. Zoey yelped and squeaked with each hit, the newbie covering her head with her arms to avoid taking any dangerous blows while she attempted to figure a way out. Her opponent's rage-induced screaming thankfully drowned out her own pained voice, but it was embarrassing nonetheless.

Eventually, she tried to roll onto her back with her knees over her chest to offer some level of protection. After that, she intended to rock back onto her shoulders and spring to her feet again, it might even catch Kikuchi with a foot or knee to the head if she was lucky. If she wasn't lucky, the Spider would be far too close for comfort and Zoey would have to put some distance between them, lest she get caught again.

Her legs were stiff and trembling after the backbreaker however, which certainly put a hamper on her ability to pull off the move.

Spider liked to think she was a woman of complicated tastes, that she was at her best when she was savoring refined things and living the high life. But, she had to concede, there was something to be said for appealing to her baser emotions as well. After being humiliated in record time by Zoe, she was more than willing to return the favor in brutal fashion.

Every stomp was a treat.

Every squeal was a delight.

Her only regret was not wearing shoes that had more of an edge to them, and she made a mental note to change that at her earliest convenience. She was hurting the little bitch, but she could’ve done so much more…

She hissed in frustration as Zoe hopped back up to her feet, trying to escape her deserved fate. A noble try, but Spider wasn’t about to let that happen - before she could get too far, she reached out, grabbed Zoey by her long, blazing hair, and yanked hard on it, tossing her back to the floor.

Somehow, Zoey managed to spring back onto her feet and stop the constant stomping from the woman. It came as some surprise even to her, since she expected that Spider's constant kicking would knock her back down once she left the mat. But that was good, if she was on her feet she could move and get some distance between herself and Kikuchi.

But that didn't get chance to happen; almost the instant her feet clapped against the canvas, Kikuchi grabbed a handful of ponytail and pulled hard enough to get another embarrassing squeal from the newcomer. After that, it was her back clapping against the canvas, "Nngh- Oof!", again . Rather than try to get to her feet right in front of Spider, which was quite a silly decision in hindsight, Zoey made an attempt to roll away from her instead.

She hoped to roll herself out of the ring, since that was one way to almost guarantee an escape from Spider, even if a temporary one. If not though, the ropes came before that and she could use those to pull herself back up.

Down Zoey went, tumbling like a fallen tree, landing right back where she belonged - at Spider’s feet, groveling. She was all too tempted to start stomping her again - base and boring yet strangely satisfying and effective. Unfortunately, the redheaded brat decided to make a hasty retreat.

”You-” Spider gave chase, kicking as Zoey as she rolled, but it was too late. She escaped the ring, leaving her to stand above. She wasn’t about to go out there and chase her - after all, Zoey had to come inside to win this. Best to let the fly come to the spider, not the other way around.

”Count!” She shrieked at the referee and stepped back, keeping her eyes focused on Zoey. The ref was a little tepid at first, but eventually she moved to the side of the ring and started the count-out, giving Zoey a deadline to come back in.

”1!”

Zoey let out a loud sigh of relief as she felt her body fall out of the ring. She managed to turn herself and land on her feet successfully, saving herself from the embarrasment that would have come with tripping over her own feet. She breathed in deep and looked up at Spider, taking a couple of seconds to gather her senses and catch her breath. Zoey couldn't help but giggle at how comical it must have been to see Spider yelling and kicking and trying to chase her on her escape from the ring.

Before the referee's count could finish, she ran to one side and grabbed the bottom rope, swinging her light body up and into the ring between the canvas and bottom rope in a smooth arc. After that, she tried to use the momentum built up from the entrance to roll onto her feet and stand up straight. Her breathing was faster than it had been at any point in her debut so far, her heart beating against her chest at the same time.

If she wasn't stopped or caught, she'd rush down at Kikuchi and sling an arm out to try and hit her in the upper chest with a clothesline. It wasn't a move she was good at, and she didn't really have the strength or weight to pull it off more often than not, but Spider didn't seem like she'd be able to counter it right away, especially given Zoey hadn't attempted anything like this up to now.

Spider, for her part, couldn’t make up her mind on whether she wanted Zoey to stay outside the ring and be counted out, or if she should’ve gone out there and dragged her in. On one hand, she wanted the win, by any means. Typically she wouldn’t have cared how the match end, so long as her hand was the one that got raised.

It was a moot point, anyway, as Zoey made the decision for her. She came rushing back in the ring - in an admittedly impressive display of agility, and made a beeline for Spider.

Bold. And dumb.

Against a less experienced wrestler, the clothesline would have worked. But Spider had been in the ring far too many times. She was ready, and when the attack came in, she ducked just in time to avoid it…

...then rose up as soon as it passed, reached up to grab the back of Zoey’s head, and promptly dropped flat on her back, looking to slam her opponent’s head into her shoulder with the swift neckbreaker.

Zoey couldn't help but sigh as her stupidity began to show, her arm didn't hit anything because Kikuchi had crouched down to avoid the move. In hindsight, it wasn't particularly surprising, she hadn't exactly made it hard to guess what was coming. Nevertheless, it was worth the try, anything that would put Spider down again would have been a good way to turn the match back around.

And there it was, Spider's hands locked around her head as the woman came back to standing and Zoey's blue eyes opened wide. This felt like it was going to hurt, even before her opponent had performed the move. She felt herself being yanked backwards, the momentum from her charge carrying her legs forwards and up into the air in front of her, and then she started to fall.

It felt like her head wanted to leave her body just an instant later, Spider having landed the base of Zoey's neck on her shoulder. It would be quite surprising for the newbie to later learn that no permanent damage was incurred, as Zoey certainly felt like she was done for at the time. Her mouth opened wide and a pain-induced squeal came out, echoing slightly around the arena.

She flopped sideways onto the mat like a fish, twitching and shivering as her hands went up to examine the site of impact.

The crowd had been so lively, just a minute ago. All cheering, as their bright heroine went against the vile villain and laid her to waste. So eager to see the dragon slain, that they almost forgot how dangerous a dragon could be. As Zoey laid on the mat, many of them grew silent, disappointment etched on their simpering faces, as reality began to set in.

Spider coveted that silence. It was the most beautiful thing she’d ever heard.

”Oh, don’t give up yet, little girl.” Spider licked her lips and sauntered to the side, as Zoey writhed beneath her. ”I haven’t even started to hurt you yet.”

Deciding to start off with something simple, yet effective, Spider kicked Zoey in the side, forcing her onto her chest. She brought her boot down hard on the redhead’s back, then reached down and grabbed both of her arms by the wrist. From there, it was just a simple matter of pulling them up while her leg pushed down, tearing Zoey apart with the Surfboard hold.

Zoey wished the arena hadn't become so silent just then. The lack of noise from the audience let her painful moans and whimpers become audible to everyone, bouncing around the arena to come back at her. Her cheeks blushed bright red as the realisation of how pathetic she must look struck her, trembling on the ground and struggling to move.

She didn't think it could get much worse after a hard hit to her fragile neck like that, her body wasn't complying fully with her anymore and she was completely helpless if Kikuchi attempted a pin. Of course, the woman's alias should probably have tipped her off that a pin wasn't coming any time soon. With Zoey writhing on the ground and waiting for the pain to stop, she felt a boot kick into her side and roll her over, and then the same boot pressed into her back.

"Nngh! N-No!" she cried as her arms were grabbed at the wrists, and painfully yanked upwards with no regard for natural angles. The boot pressed into her back to stop her torso from being lifted in the same way, causing horrible agony in her shoulders, Zoey felt as if her opponent was trying to rip them straight off of her body. The screams only intensified from that point, and Satoshi felt tears begin to well up in her eyes. "God! It hurts! Let go! Let go!" she begged, even if she knew in the back of her mind that this would only encourage the Spider.
