Zoey Satoshi vs. Spider Kikuchi - A Warm Welcome

The teasing. The taunting. All from this little brat of a girl, every bit as green as her hair was red. If there was one thing that Spider could count on as fuel, it was sheer rage, and Zoey was doing an excellent job of incensing her at an astonishing rate.

Spider expected an attack to be coming when she stood up and shook sense back into her head, but there wasn’t one. Instead, Zoey kept her distance, either because she was playing it safe or because she didn’t see Spider as a real threat. Impudence. Unforgivable impudence.

Spider hissed - a real hiss - and charged forward, running straight for Zoey with wild eyes. The moment she was close enough, she ducked down and shot out, going for the newcomer’s stomach with a spear - it was hardly a staple of her moveset, but it suited her tastes now. She wanted this bitch down, she wanted to be on top, she wanted to be causing her so much pain...

Zoey came forwards toward the middle of the ring once Spider was back on her feet, watching her movements carefully to try and predict what the woman's next move would be. Suddenly, Kikuchi hissed and came barreling towards her in a storm of primal rage, it wasn't exactly what Satoshi had been expecting and it left her with very little time to think or react.

Seeing the pure hatred on Kikuchi's face made Zoey's deep blue eyes grow huge, her smile faded almost immediately and was replaced by panic. Even though she had been crushing the match so far, there was still something terrifying about watching someone charging down on you as if they meant to tear you limb from limb.

Something about Spider's movements somehow gave Zoey the impression she was about to attempt a clothesline. She leaned forwards, but then Kikuchi ducked too and ended up slamming Satoshi in the waist hard with her shoulder. Feeling the full weight of the woman crashing against her wasn't fun, and the spear sent her down hard onto her butt with Kikuchi kneeling over her slender legs. The move left her stunned and winded and panting for air, but her arms instinctively went to try and (rather poorly) apply a headlock to the Spider if her opponent hadn't moved fast enough.

This sort of move would’ve been a terrible idea against most opponents for Spider, giving that she’d always been on the slimmer side, outweighed often even in the AFW. It was blatant, too, driven only by rage and no sense, the sort of attack that a more skilled wrestler would’ve countered in one of a dozen ways.

Luckily for her, Zoey did not seem to be that skilled wrestler. Either that, or the panic took her senses. Either way, it worked out well for her, and the smile which had been absent on Spider’s face for the past minute started to creeped its way back across her lips.

”What’s wrong?” She began to crawl up Zoey’s body like her namesake, pressing against her as she slithered, enjoying the feel of flesh against flesh. ”You seem-”

Spider’s taunt was lost when Zoey managed to capture her head in a desperate lock, clenching her tight. It wasn’t painful, not really, but it was more annoyance than Spider wanted to deal with. Looking for a way out, she began to push against her chest, trying to pop her head out.

At the same time, the referee dropped down and inspected Zoey’s shoulders, making sure they weren’t getting pinned.

While the move had been simple, and Zoey had been taught how to counter it more times than she could remember, the newbie's brain had been hindered by the panic and caused her to make a mistake. She felt she had paid for that mistake however, all the air in her lungs had vanished after Spider's shoulder had rammed her bare stomach, leaving her red-faced and gasping.

Zoey blinked hard a few times as awareness came back to her a moment later, still panting hard to replace the air that had been forced out of her. She looked down in surprise at her squirming opponent, who was somehow trapped in a headlock that she didn't remember applying. "So clumsy~" she taunted with a cute giggle, her smile returning to her face. With one shoulder up above Kikuchi's head, the teenager certainly wasn't pinned. She tried to tighten her arm and entwine her legs with Kikuchi's to prevent the woman's escape, but the Spider's head slid out just a moment too early and earned her freedom.

Thinking fast, Satoshi's hands shot out to try and capture Kikuchi's wrists. If her plan succeeded, she hoped it would give her the leverage needed to roll her opponent over, and from there hopefully make an escape to a safer distance. If not, she'd be stuck under Spider with her thin legs trapped and grasping at the air where Kikuchi's wrists used to be, something her furious opponent would love to take advantage of, and something Zoey definitely didn't want.

It took a lot of squirming - during which the more perverted members of the audience were no doubt treated to an undeserved scene of her rear end wiggling about - but Spider was able to worm her way out of the hold and get free before her opponent was able to make things worse - far worse - by entwining their legs.

She freed herself and breathed in the clean air, but she wasn’t given long to savor it. Before she could move to bash Zoey’s face in, her wrists were snatched up and held tight. Before she could get them free, she was rolled over onto her back, with the swift redhead on top. Before she could snake her legs around the little snot and squeeze her midsection, she’d pulled away, and there was nothing more for Spider to do than roll off her shoulders and quickly get to her feet.

Shaking it off, Spider’s icy glare stayed locked on Zoey as she rose. Wanting to get her hands on her as soon as possible, she dashed forward with her arms outstretched, looking to force the younger women into a lockup.

When she rolled on top of Spider, their faces barely two inches apart and Zoey pinning the Spider's wrists to the canvas (Further appeasing the more perverted section of the audience, no doubt), she winked and made a kissing motion with her lips. Once on her feet, she cart-wheeled backwards very elegantly and quickly, giggling the whole time and putting a sizeable gap between herself and Kikuchi.

"You look angry. Not as good as you thought you were?" she asked gently, grinning as Kikuchi came rushing predictably at her again. Rather than let herself get into the woman's lockup, she brought her right leg up high and tried to rock Spider's skull with another hard kick to the side of the head during her charge. If all went to plan, it'd put her down and give Satoshi an opening to attempt a leghook pin, and a chance to end the match.

Spider's terrifying gaze was starting to lose it's effect on the rookie, considering it had been present for almost the entire match and so far Zoey had been one step ahead of her opponent at every turn. She hoped her own constant taunting wasn't losing it's edge in the same way, as it seemed to work very well in provoking the Spider into making mistakes.

Spider never saw the kick coming. Again.

Her mind was a mess, awash with rage and fury, focused only on getting her hands on this little brat. The taunts were incensing her, making her more and more heated, while she became less and less focused on her surroundings. She’d closed in, thinking that she could get a grasp on her opponent and end this farce, when a blow crashed across her face.

She went down, fast, but the insults didn’t stop there. This little wastrel actually had the gall to pin her - to pin her, as if Spider was that simple to defeat. The referee had barely hit the canvas a second time before she kicked out and shoved Zoey’s face away. ”Get off me!”

She was hoping the pin would work, but it was too good to be true and her opponent's leg shot out of her grip, the woman's shoulder coming up to end the count. Zoey rolled backwards with the added momentum from Spider's shove and stopped on her feet, going from crouching to standing. The newbie then went quickly to the nearest corner and began to climb the ropes at a rapid rate. When she got to the top she stood up straight and turned with a smirk, looking to see if Kikuchi was back on her feet.

If Kikuchi was still on the ground, that would have been perfect, and Zoey would attempt her finisher; launching away from the ropes like a spring and somersaulting in the air with a display of her agility before landing feet-first on Spider's stomach. If she was on her feet, the move would remain the same but simply transition into a dropkick to the chest after the flip.

There were a number of dangers that came along with such a move, she could miss the target and hit nothing but canvas, leaving her looking silly. Kikuchi could have recovered from her previous attack faster than she had anticipated and catch her out of the air, which would be equally embarrassing, but Zoey went for it anyway. If it paid off, it'd be quite a devastating move.

The pin was an insult. More than anything that Zoey had done in the match so far, more than the fact that Spider was put in this matchup to begin with. The idea that someone like this thought she could pin a woman of her calibre so early on? A slap in the face. For Spider Kikuchi, that was all she was prepared to take.

She started to stand up as Zoey came barreling her way, showing all the tell-tale signs of an incoming dropkick. The speed, the movements, the look in her eyes. It would surely be a good, strong hit, too. If it connected. Which it wasn’t.

She waited until the last moment, then jumped to the side and let the dropkick pass by - but that wasn’t all she did. At the same time, she stretched out her knee beneath the newcomer, grabbed her by shoulder, and dropped her with a backbreaker, making sure she landed on the point.

Zoey's somersault transitioned into a dropkick aimed at her standing opponent's chest. It looked certain to connect, her feet were right where they needed to be and she was moving fast enough that she wasn't going to fall short, but Zoey felt her legs hit nothing and Kikuchi's body began to sail past. That was fine, she thought, she would simply use the momentum from the missed attack to keep moving after she landed and-

Spider's hands locked on her shoulders and yanked her suddenly out of the air. That would have been bad enough, but it suddenly felt like someone had slammed her spine with a hammer as Kikuchi brought her down into a backbreaker. "Nnnnghyaaaaah!" she screamed out, trying to roll off the woman's knee and curl up to rub her back. She hadn't at all been expecting it and the move was landed with great efficiency, it was surprising the newbie hadn't been broken in two.

Satoshi had been waiting for something like this all match, but it finally came only when she thought she was safe.
