Re: AV 16 Entropy Title Ladder match: Alaina Sanders (c) vs. Valley Doll
Alaina climbed up one step before feeling an unexpected added weight. It was enough to throw her off and she came back down to the mat standing on her feet although her jaw smacked against a ladder rung!
It only stunned her a split second but Valley got more time to recover. Valley was also showing signs of life.... Alaina should have dragged her further away. It was time to rectify that mistake. Alaina pulled Valley up and placed her head between the thighs of the amazon. The crowd knew what was coming.
Alaina wanted to amabomb this woman into oblivion, avenging her early loss and ensuring she would regain her title!

Re: AV 16 Entropy Title Ladder match: Alaina Sanders (c) vs. Valley Doll
Valley clung onto Alaina tight, despite all the hurt going through her body, as if her life depended on it. In a way, it did - she was a firm believer that a wrestler’s top goal should be going after belts and securing championship runs. This was likely going to be her one and only shot, and she wasn’t giving it up as long as her body could move…
...which, judging from the way Alaina was lifting her up, might not have been for much longer.
She knew every drop of energy she had left was precious, so Valley stretched her time, waited for the right moment. When Alaina hoisted her up on her shoulders, she knew that the time to act was right then. In another moment, she’d either be unconscious or damn close to it.
With a loud, defiant shout, Valley jerked back and pulled her legs in, looking to send Alaina flying with a hurricanrana. It wouldn’t be enough to win her the match, but it would be a good start to bigger things. She had to get some offense, damn it.

Re: AV 16 Entropy Title Ladder match: Alaina Sanders (c) vs. Valley Doll
Alaina's heart sank when Valley wrapped her legs around Alaina's head and the downward momentum started. Thanks to Cassie Elliot, Alaina knew the devastating effects of having her finisher reversed. Alaina had to stop this before it spiraled out of control. Alaina spread he legs apart and stepped forward in a lunge to widen her stance as much as possible! It took all the strength she had to slow down the descent and prevent herself from being flipped over. Her core muscles felt like they were on fire nearly to the point of being torn.
Still, she succeeded. Valley was dangling upside down and Alaina was still upright. This was taxing to stop but she still had Valley in a compromising situation. Alaina dropped straight down, hitting Valley with a makeshift piledriver! It wasn't as impactful as it could have been but it sure wasn't going to be expected by Valley!
As soon as they hit, Alaina kicked Valley, grabbing the ropes and kicking her underneath to the outside of the ring! The tired amazon then lumbered over to the ladder, getting it set up to begin what she believed would be her final ascent!

Re: AV 16 Entropy Title Ladder match: Alaina Sanders (c) vs. Valley Doll
How many times had Valley done a hurricanrana? In pretty much every match.
How many times had she botched it this badly? Never.
She laid on the outside of the ring, listening to the crowd’s roar, and she tried to make sense of everything that happened in past five or so seconds. She’d been going for the hurricanrana, a move that would certainly send Alaina flying. Only it stopped about half way through, as Alaina resisted it, a move she didn’t even know what physically possible. That would’ve been bad enough, but then Alaina grabbed her, and-
...a piledriver. Alaina had hit her with a piledriver.
Valley groaned and rolled over to her chest, slowly pushing her way up more, defying gravity as best she could. The bell hadn’t rung, so she knew there was still a chance, but she didn’t realize how small that chance was until she looked up and saw Alaina so close. There was no way to get to her in time...unless…
Valley crawled up on the apron and grabbed the bottom rope, then the middle, than the top, pulling herself to her feet in one rabid, last ditch effort. She had an idea, but it involved a move he’d never even used before, only thought about in theory. If she hit it, it might win her the *match. If she missed, though…
High-risk, right? No guts, no glory. ”Time to fly.”
Valley yanked herself up to the top rope, placed her feet on top of them, them bounded forward, coming towards Alaina, or, to be more specific, coming behind her. As she flew, Valley dropped her body into a mid-air cartwheel, letting her swing up while her body came down. She was perfectly upside down and parallel to Alaina’s body for one instant, and that instant was all she really needed.
In that moment, she grabbed Alaina’s thighs and stuck her head between those Amazon’s legs, forcing her foe to come along with he as she tumbled. If all went well, she’d be yanked off the ladder as Valley’s completed her cartwheel, ending with them both falling to the mat from high up.
Valley would come down on her knees, which would suck, but not as bad as Alaina would get - she would end dropped flat on her back, hit by a springboard variation of the Slamazon’s finisher - the Valley Bomb!

Re: AV 16 Entropy Title Ladder match: Alaina Sanders (c) vs. Valley Doll
It was now Alaina's turn to be left wondering what just happened. She made her slow ascent and was close to retaining that belt, reaching up when she felt herself grabbed.
Suddenly she was quickly spinning and falling, and before she could process all this or even make a sound she made impact on the ring. The speed and spine meant extra impact. The unconventional use of an already unconventional move lead to the amazon from that height with the bulk of the impact on her head and upper back!
The fast shooting pain, the spund of the crowd as well as her entire consciousness quickly and violently went to black. This was no simple fade to black as it was an instant devastating crushing to black. Her body slumped to the mat, laying there motionless except for a faint rising of her chest.

Re: AV 16 Entropy Title Ladder match: Alaina Sanders (c) vs. Valley Doll
The crowd exploded.
Valley had heard some raucous reactions in her time, but never like this. Never for her. It was this loud, deafening sound that seemed to go on and on, a never ending roar that shook the ring. It was the sound of a crowd that knew they were watching something special, something that would be remembered for years to come.
Valley for her part, stayed on her knees, looking forward at Alaina. She was out. Unconscious. She’d seen enough knocked out women to know one when she saw it, and she realized that her opponent - the champion - would not be getting up anytime soon.
She’d won. The belt was hers, and there was literally nothing to stop her from taking it.
”Sorry, Al.” She gave her friend one, final pat on the stomach, sighing, and looked up at the belt. So close. So close.
It wasn’t easy climbing up the ladder. Valley’s skull was still hurting from the piledriver, and flying through the air like a madwoman hadn’t done wonders for that ache. She stumbled. She slipped. She pulled and pulled, working her way up bit by tortured bit, until she finally reached the top. She took one last look down, almost as if she expected Alaina to rise up like some movie monster at the last moment, but it wasn't happening. She was safe. Finally.
Valley reached up, unclasped the belt, and took it in her hands, as the crowd’s cheers grew impossibly louder. The bell’s ring could barely be heard over them, but the announcer's booming voice came in clear with the loudspeakers, booming along with her theme music.
”YOUR WINNER AND NEW ENTROPY CHAMPION, VALLEY DOLL!”
All the while, Valley sat on top of the ladder, holding the belt in her arms, looking at it like it would disappear if she averted her gaze for even a second. It was there, she could feel the weight in her hands, but she was still having a hard time believing it was happening. All the people who said she couldn’t make it, that she’d never get anywhere in the AFW...this proved them wrong. She’d come so far from the woman that Akashi squashed in minutes, who’d gotten stripped naked and sent running to the back, and this was all the evidence she needed.
Valley Doll was a champion, and as long as she could stand on two feet and fight, no one was taking that from her.
Clutching the belt tight in one hand, she fought through the pain and stood up, balancing as best she could. She raised the belt high, its shimmering face gleaming in the bright lights, and let out a wild, fierce cry, as tears streamed down her face.
”HALEY! I DID IT!”

Re: AV 16 Entropy Title Ladder match: Alaina Sanders (c) vs. Valley Doll
Alaina's vision was fuzzy when she woke up, her head and neck pounding. However she could hear perfectly well. She heard the crowd... the music.... it was all coming together. Seeing Valley with the title celebrating had proved what Alaina feared most, the amazon was now a former champion. She rolled over and covered her face, crying herself albeit for entirely different reasons than Valley.
Alaina was seconds from retaining that belt, and if she took the time to hit Valley with any offense after that piledriver there is no way she was going to have stopped Alaina. Should have. Could have. Didn't. To make matters worse, Alaina had once again failed to defeat Valley. She didn't care that ladder matches were something fairly new to her, or that speed helped much more than power.... no matter what she threw at Valley the older Slamazon had now been able to stand over a defeated Alaina in victory twice in two matches.
Her heart didn't sink, it had effectively disintegrated and blew away like dust in the wind. Alaina drew a deep breath and stood as straight as she could. Her head was very fuzzy like her vision, and her back was wrecked. She stumbled up to Valley, trying to act like she wasn't in pain inside and out. "There it is... ya beat me again. I...." Alaina began to say before almost choking up seeing someone else with the belt she herself claimed for a year. "Congrats. I know you will be a great champ." Alaina said as she extended her hand for a shake. After that was done Alaina stepped back. "I will leave you to your time to shine now." She added motioning to the crowd.
With that Alaina hobbled towards the ropes, flopped onto the mat and rolled underneath. With a stumble and fall to her knees outside she got up, one hand on the back of her head and the other cradling her abdomen as she took the very, very long walk up the ramp towards the back, not sure where the heck to go from there in her career.
