Feeding Time: Mako “The Shark” Vs Shido the Fanboy

Shido continued picking up speed. He felt he needed to if he wanted to put Mako down for the count. She was right about it being hard to pin her. But it wasn't like he was going to give up on trying. No, victory had to be attainable some way. If he couldn't pin the pretty predator, then he'd have to find some way of submitting her or knocking her out. And both those goals involved one objective: knocking the Shark down.

The young man made use of his agility and hopped over Mako as she tried to trip him and halt his momentum. After avoiding that strike and meeting the ropes for a third time, now, Shido would dash towards Mako with all the speed he had built up and leap at to attempt a Shoulder Block! With all the speed he had built up, that Shoulder Block could have easily taken down a man twice his size. He figured it would certainly floor Mako so that he could attempt a followup! If it connected that is.

Shido would soon find that he might have been right. All he had to do was hit his move. And he would make contact with Mako alright. He'd take an extremely well-executed, well-placed Roundhouse Kick to the side of his head as he dove through the air! The impact was quick and precise. He didn't even let out a yell or any audible reaction as he took the kick! The Fanboy simply hit the ground and remained there, completely immobile!

Mako had given her all with this roundhouse kick, and it wouldn't disappoint her. As soon as she fully extended her leg as she spun, her heel struck Shido right on the side of his. The strike made a smacking sound, and the fanboy instantly fell face flat on the ring and didn't move. "Now that had to hurt" Mako thought before she even saw her opponent flat on the ring. She could tell the impact hurt as soon as she hit him, and so could the crowd as a great many shouted "OH!" just from seeing the powerful kick.

But even though the young man was face down and unmoving, she wasn't done with Shido just yet. Mako would walk over to her opponent and grab him by the arms. "Come on Shido, you deserve to go out with more than a kick." the shark would say as she tried pulling the fanboy up, and trap his head between her legs. The crowd would cheer loudly as they knew just what move Mako was getting ready to use on Shido, and we're excited to see it in action.

Shido had some momentum going for him. Fans began to cheer when he came at his opponent a third time. But those cheers would turn to a mixture of reactions and would convey a number of emotions when he jumped into the air, only to be met with an insane kick from Mako! The man fell to the ground like a soaring bird that was sniped out of the sky. Many assumed Shido was done right then and there. He wasn't moving, how was he going to kick out?

But Mako knew not to count him out so easily. No, she wanted to make sure that the very next pin would be the last of the match! The Shark closed in on her prey and prepared to seal the deal. She yanked him up to his feet by pulling on his arm. As out of it as Shido seemed, he was still aware enough to figure out standing at this point. When he was just halfway up to his feet, Miss Adachi would shove his head between her legs to set up for a huge move! The crowd would rally behind her as she did. As bad as this might be for Shido, it was still an entertaining match.

Mako had brought Shido into this position for a big move, and everyone knew what it was at this point as she began to hook his arms. The shark was about to deliver one hell of a pedigree onto the weary fanboy, and while it would hurt like crazy, it was still a good way to go out at least.

So with the crowd roaring for Mako to finish this, the shark would bend down a bit before jumping back up into the air. And as the two were off their feet, the young woman would unhook Shido's arms as they came down. And end with a loud smack caused by the fanboy's face hitting the ring full force. There were a great many in the audience that had a feeling that Shido was going to feel that in the morning for sure. But as for his opponent, Mako could only think about pinning the young man as she swung around and pulled back on his leg as the ref girl went down to her belly to begin the count.

Contrary to her alias, Mako had opted to soften up her prey and prep him for the finishing blow. The Shark woman would seal the deal with a thunderous Pedigree! She jumped up whilst keeping the Fanboy's arms hooked and she let go of them on the way down, driving his skull into the mat face-first! If Shido wasn't moving after that kick, he was most certainly not moving after that Pedigree! The crowd roared as Mako confidently swung herself into position and hooked his leg to begin the pin!

The crowd had really rallied behind her at this point and chose to count along with the referee, fully expecting Shido to be vanquished right here and now!

"ONE!" "ONE!"
"TWO!" "TWO!"
"THREE!" "THREE!"

"Ding! Ding! Ding!"

The bell would sound and the referee would reach for Mako's arm to raise it and celebrate her victory over the Fanboy! It was a good bout, but ultimately Shido came up short. The fans would cheer for the Shark's triumph, tonight! And the defeated young man would simply lay there on the canvas, just groaning and barely moving.

After delivering not only a jarring kick, but also a devastating Pedigree, Mako had little doubt that the fanboy was done. And considering how the crowd counted as the ref did, it seemed they thought the same counting One. Two. And Three. The bell rang soon after signaling that the shark had done it, followed by the ref girl lifting Mako's arm as she began to get up. She'd throw her other arm up once she was standing up tall, listening to the roaring crowd before remembering her little conversation with the ref as she was patted down earlier.

"Hey that offer from earlier still stands if you want..." Mako would say to the ref girl, causing her to blush greatly and start to talk rapidly saying maybe another time and scurrying out of the ring. The shark just laughed to herself a bit thinking how easy that ref was to tease. But soon she'd take notice of Shido who was still behind her groaning as he laid on his back.

Mako wasn't surprised he was still down after the beating she gave him. Still it was a good match for sure, so Mako thought her opponent should be at least a little proud. Even if he did come up short the fanboy had showed some impressive skills, with some more training he could be even better. Right now though he was kinda a mess, guess she should help him up since she kinda did this to him.

So Mako would crouch down so she was as close to his level without sitting or kneeling down and say, "Hey there Fanboy, you need some help? " and extend her hand to him, hoping that he could get to his feet with a little help. But then the thought of him needing even more help crossed the shark's mind.

"I'm not gonna carry you, though, so I really hope you can walk on your own" she'd add as the thought of her carrying Shido in her arms seemed...odd to say the least. Mako really hoped that the fanboy could walk since carrying him out like that would make him seem way too bride-like for her.

Amidst the rampant and loud cheers Mako had earned for earning her victory, tonight, she'd take a moment to pull away from celebrating and check on the Fanboy. At first he looked to be in bad shape. Despite the match having been over for several seconds now, he still wasn't moving and still hand't opened his eyes.

Being the sportsman she had already proven herself capable of being in this match up, the Shark would bend down to check on him, mostly out of concern, perhaps a little bit out of willingness to acknowledge him as a good opponent. After prompting him twice, Shido would respond without opening his eyes, simply stating. "Yeah...I'm.....I'm ok." He'd slowly begin to stir and open his eyes. The Fanboy would reach for Mako's hand, accepting her help to get up and give some better reassurance about his condition. "I'm gonna be ok. No need to carry me. I'm just....gonna have a headache for a while, haha. Great match, Mako. You were really something!" He'd smile at her after reaching his feet. "Next time, I'll know what to expect. It won't be as easy. Still though, awesome match!" He continued his thoughts whilst blushing a bit, this time.

Mako smiled as Shido took her hand and said he was ok. It made her happy to know the fanboy wasn't going to be a poor sport or anything, and she was happy to hear that he had enjoyed their match. "Hehe glad to hear you liked it, I'll make sure to give you a rematch someday if you want. Of course you're right that it won't be easy." Mako would say after pulling Shido up to his feet. But while the crowd was still cheering, the young woman felt it was time to make her exit...even if she really wanted to soak in for at least a while longer.

"Come on fanboy I think it's time we head out." the shark would say after a firm pat on the young man's back. Then walking to the ropes Mako would pull up on the middle rope, and push the bottom rope down with her foot. "After you" she would say chuckling a bit as she motioned Shido to go on through.

Shido stumbled a little, though ultimately he was able to find his footing and begin to make his leave along with the Shark. Content with his performance tonight and happy to have found a friend in a fearsome striker and competitor, he'd leave the ring with his head held high. Or at least, he was about to before he paused for a moment to see Mako hold the ropes open for him. "Haha, you know, I should be the one doing that for you." He said while blushing slightly. He was too tired to fight the bit of role reversal going on, here. And even if he, could something told him Mako would be stubborn about this.

The Fanboy would duck under the middle rope and leave the ring before extending a hand to Mako to help her on her way down.

Mako smirked a bit as Shido said he should be holding the ropes for her. "Oh really? I never pegged you for a chauvinist" she would say teasing the fanboy. Now while she knew that men holding the ropes for women was a pretty normal thing to do, the shark was anything but normal. So she waited and watched as Shido went through the ropes and leave the ring, and a moment later she did the same.

But Shido was more than eager to give her a hand this time, to which she responded "Such a chauvinist" as she shook her head and took his hand. Then after hopping to the ground Mako would put the fanboy in a headlock and start rubbing her fist on his head. "Come on fanboy I feel like celebrating!" the shark would exclaim with her arm still around him as they walked past the fans.

"We should go out for some drinks! Haha, and since you're such a chauvinist I'll let you buy them!" Mako would laugh as she walked away with Shido. A win, a new friend, and some drinks, this was going to be a fun night for sure!
