Julia Knight vs Starlight

Julia didn't hear Tabitha's remark and continued on her way as she rested things off in the corner her mind on what she needed to do to put things away. Tabitha always knew to back away not caring about the result of a round due to the match being to the finish instead of any draw that might arise of her doing so. On the bright side of the things she appeared to be winning things.

Though she still took a deep breathe and thought things over. For now she had control which meant she might be able to wear Tabitha down this round since she had something to prove not her. With that in mind she moved ahead once the bell rang and put her gloves up and ready to fight once more

Starlight had to admit that she was the worse off between the pair in the ring. Maybe it could be turned around with making Julia make a mistake of some kind? Either way, the plan for this round was going to be fairly simple. Continue attempting to frustrate Julia into making a mistake that Starlight could capitalize on. With both of them moving into the middle of the ring to start the third round, Starlight would start to jab out almost in a manner that was meant to keep Julia away from her than actually bother with hitting her.

Thinking the best way to frustrate Julia was to not allow her into any position to damage Starlight, she would start to move around Julia and try to keep her away. If Julia charged in, Starlight had her hands up for the most part to keep from taking any damage to her head.

The redhead was reduced to waiting this time around, that should be fine since she felt like she won the first two exchanges so maybe pulling back a little was necessary to getting some time to rethink her strategy and come in with something else. So as the bell rang she moved in and put her gloves up and prepared for whatever she needed to do to say on the defensive.

...Though that didn't seem to be necessary as Tabitha wasn't eager to go on the attack either and instead just seemd to be trying to peeper her with punches, one catching her arm and gloves. Though this was fine since she wasn't looking to attack right now she felt like she still do something. So with that in mind she did the same, going for little jabs at her arms and chests to tr y and look like she was attacking as well.

With both Julia and Starlight taking a different approach into this round, the pace would slow down somewhat. Both women seemed content to simply stay on the outside and start to try to feel out an opening instead of simply trying to brute force their way in. This was hopefully going to be the calm before the storm for Starlight as the idea was to lull Julia into a false sense of security by not going on the offensive. As both seemed content, it was now time to really test Julia to see if she would be able to react.

With neither woman having used kicks all that much in the battle so far, Starlight was hoping she could sneak one in. Trying to get the positioning right as best she could, Starlight would start working around Julia trying to get her to move side to side as they continued to feel each other out. Once Starlight got them moving, Julia would hopefully not see the head kick coming. Putting things in an almost all or nothing gamble, Starlight would try to unleash a head kick on Julia. If it connected, the hopes were that it might just well turn out the lights for Julia. If it missed however, Starlight would be wide open for a counterattack as she would need to spin herself back around from the momentum and force being placed into the kick itself.

The battle slowed things down for a moment as neither seemed willing to take the first big move and attack. Julia saw no reason to do so but she couldn't understand why Tabitha wouldn't, maybe because she didn't think she could pull it off? Either way Julia was just fine to keep the match at this pace, maybe she could find an opening but for now she just wanted to stay focused and strike when she needed too.

However as she was moving to the right to avoid some jabs and fire back with others of her own she was surprised by the girl taking the fight to her again and nailing her with a kick to the side of the face. "Goouuff!" she screamed as she stumbled to the side holding her gloves up to protect her face as she tried to keep her balance after the kick nearly knocked her flat on her back.

Starlight was half pleased and half disappointed that her attack worked. It certainly had left Julia dazed, but Starlight felt that she should have gotten more into that kick and possibly sent her down right then and there. Then again Starlight had little reason to argue with the results as Julia was reeling.

Somewhat disappointed that Julia did not hit the deck, Starlight would try to just run with it and try to do what she could to put Julia down and possibly even away. Giving Julia a shove toward the ropes, Starlight wanted to have this turn into something where Julia could not go down like Starlight had done previously to escape more of a beating. Now Starlight needed to take advantage of her opportunity as best she could.

Trying to paw a bit at Julia's guard, Starlight wanted to keep Julia's guard raised so that she could try to land a more powerful shot into Julia's body. Hopefully the ropes would keep her standing after that blow.

Her head was in disarray as she seemed to be unable to actually make any coherent thoughts or plans to get out of this predicament. Mostly her mind shifted on staying up for fear she couldn't get back up if she fell before she was pushed backwards into the ropes by Tabitha before she suddenly felt her guard being picked at.

This was the wake up call she needed to keep it up trying to make sure no more heavy hits could nail her across the face. Though this failed somewhat as instead they found her body. "Goouuugh!" she moans as she folds up from the punch before her body jerks back up coughing and her arms up to protect her face still.
