Sparring gone wild (Starlight & Kane)

In a sign of respect, Kane would offer to touch gloves now that they were beginning the last round of their sparring match. With their battle starting to draw a crowd even, Tabby felt that it would be bad form not to accept and touch up Kane's gloves to begin the last round.

With both Tabby and Kane backing off after meeting in the middle, it was certainly the calm before the storm as both wanted to win this third and final round so that they would be declared the winner of the spar. In all honesty it probably did not mean much as it would not show in their records either way but the setting was like it were a full on match in a packed stadium with this being the main event. Tabby was taking this seriously and she could only expect Kane to do the same.

"Hmm, I though you were gonna come right at me.. Smart not too. I was ready for it." Tabby would quip as she was almost assuming that Kane was going to just go all out right from the start. As they circled each other for a few brief moments, Tabby would try to initiate some action as she started to simply jab out at Kane almost as if she were trying to prod him into doing something more so than trying to make solid contact with his forehead.

Kane was watching Tabby closing. He needed to smile a bit when she told him that she was ready for it. He would wait a short moment before answering. “Believe me… no one is ready when I bring it!”, he answered back a bit cookie. He would not let her out of his view. The last round he took the offensive, now he wanted to go onto the counterpart, trying to hit some big punches in unexpected moment.

Tabby did seem to wait for him to make the first move. But Kane wouldn’t go for it he would keep watching her with a smile.

Then suddenly he saw that she was coming his way. She would saw that she was throwing a simple Jab his way. Without any big problems he could block his one. He was just about to open his guard and go for the attack himself when he suddenly saw that Tabby was going for another strike. This time she was hitting him directly onto his forehead. Kane was hit unprepared and was stumbling backwards a few steps dizzy from the hit he just took.

Tabby had caught Kane it would seem and now it was time to try to chop him down like a tree. Instead of trying to follow up with more attacks targetted at his head, Tabby would instead start to target Kane's body and legs. Trying to stay in close, Tabby would try to go for some short kicks to his legs while trying to work his body with some power punches. If she could keep on the offensive, Tabby might just find a way to chop this tree down.

With her focus wholly on offense now, Tabby was throwing caution to the wind almost and leaving herself wide open were Kane to recover and be able to mount any real offense.

Kane was on the resaving end of a pretty bad beating right now. Tabby was on the full attack hammering Punches into his body while working onto his lower part with kicks. The punches as well as the kick were really, really fast. Now in the last round Tabby was showing everything she got… or at least everything she got left. Behind every punch and every kick there was a lot of power making them just pretty painful when they hit Kane´s ribcage. Kane needed to scream out with every hit he took. But then he saw that Tabby was only attacking and not watching herself. This was his chance. In the first small break he would jump forward and would try to hit Tabby´s head with a powerful right jab. He would put as much weight behind hit as he could because he needed to separate them or this match was over for him!

Tabby found herself on the offensive, landing a few good shots on Kane. The audible noises Kane would make simply confirmed that her shots were landing. Now she was on the offensive and in control, or so she thought. Getting a little careless perhaps and only focusing on hitting Kane more and more to end things right then and there possibly, Tabby found herself getting nailed as Kane catapulted forward with a straight punch.

Tabby had her guard down as she was trying to work over Kane's body and would take the full force of the hit. Now dazed a bit, Tabby was functionally defenseless as she tried to shake off the impact that Kane had delivered straight to her head. With one hand on her forehead and the other simply dangling, Tabby was defenseless now for Kane to almost certainly knock down if he so desired.

Kane body was hurting… pretty badly… he just took a rain of punches from his opponent and that in the last and most important round of this match. The fans were starting to get behind Tabby.

Kane needed to do something he won a short moment by stunning Tabby with a blow to the head. He needed to capitalize on this. Kane would try to launch himself forward to tabby he would put his right up. He would try to throw a right hook aiming to hit it against the side of Tabby´s head while spinning his body a bit to the left to ad even more power behind it… he wanted to send Tabby down with this blow. If that was successful he would look down to Tabby breathing heavily. Then he would start to count: “1….2….”

With Tabby getting stunned, Kane would end up capitalizing on things by levelling her with a brutal right hook that almost knocked Tabby off her feet completely as she crumbled to the ground. Kane would get up to a count of 4 before Tabby even realized that she was on the ground now. Realizing that she was knocked down, Tabby now wanted to get herself back up on her feet. There was no way she could reconcile being knocked out by this guy.

Getting back up to her knees at the count of 6, it looked like Tabby was waiting for Kane to count to 8 before she would get back up fully. With the two essentially splitting the first two rounds, Tabby wanted to make sure that she could win this last round and be declared the winner of this sparring session. It would not have meant much for the history books, but the idea was that Tabby wanted to win in any competition she was in. Now that she was back up on her feet, Tabby would clap her gloves together a few times and then gesture over to Kane that she was ready.

With the round only just having started, there was plenty of time for Tabby to try to put Kane on his ass to repay him for this knockdown.

Kane would watch his opponent closely while keeping counting… she really looked like the hit did some damage… on the one hand the boy was happy about that he could score a big blow like that and send her down in the final round… He wanted to win badly… after all the looses he endured over the last time…

But on the other hand he was a bit sorry for her… he didn´t want to hurt her too badly. She was a great person, friendly, sporty and funny. So it was hard for him to see her come back so slowly to her feet.

Then she made it back up into time… just at the eight call… Kane would watch her closely… she couldn´t hide that she took some damage during the match… but he was not looking better right now… or feeling better. “Are u ready to on?”, he asked her… He would only get e gesture as an answer… The boy needed to smile again and put his arms up. When his guard was in position again he would start to walk over to Tabby watching her closely.

He would try to make a sudden big step towards her and catch her with some punches to the body.

Taking a quick glance over at the clock, there was still a little over a minute left in this last round. Tabby could see that Kane was closing in on her, and this was fine. If Tabby could get hold of him for a while, then Kane could not let loose any manner of haymakers that would knock her down or wholly knock her out. Kane was certainly not lacking for power as the punch that knocked Tabby down previously would attest to.

Seeing Kane lunge forward, Tabby would instinctively attempt to back away a little and raise her guard a bit. Wanting to protect her head from another haymaker, Tabby would try to lure Kane in so that she could grab him and tie him up. She could feel the blows to her body and would let out a grunt after each one landed. Now was the time for Tabby to try to make her own move and tie up Kane again. Hopefully she could buy herself enough time to fully recover and mount an offensive of her own to make up for being knocked down.

Kane was coming after Tabby he wanted to send her down again. He would do everything it needed to win. He was fired up to end this match.

But Tabby was going away from him bringing some separation between the two… But Kane wouldn´t stop he would keep chasing after her following her. When he was close enough he was releasing a rain of punches to her body. Luckily her guard was up high so he had a free target… But these body punches weren´t bringing so much… he needed to land some heavier strikes, so he would try to hit her higher. He would try to punch with heavy hit against her guard hopping to break throw It an hit her head with maybe one or two blows.
