Seraphim and Minerva

"If I fall?!" She screamed and clung to the pipes, shaking nervously. The slap to her behind made her squeak and she practically jumped up a few feet. She scrambled up about a story and a half before she turned to look down at Seraphim. Not realizing how high she had gotten, she stiffened and began to shake, her little tail wagging. "T-too high! Sera-San! I-I'm s-sacred."

Well, she could climb decently too; not bad. Seraphim wasn't always the best either, but as she grew up, her friend Alison taught Serpahim parkour, and she had really taken a knack for manipulating herself in an urban enviroment and getting from one place to another on her feet by taking routes and doing moves few could with just their hands and feet. Of course, for something as simple as climbing, that wasn't really needed, but it still helped to know a trick or two. And in Minerva's case, she barely even managed to get up beyond the second story, nevermind stopping in fear when she looked down.

That was practically the first rule in climbing; never look down. Well, what else could she do now? Seraphim could climb up behind her and force her up, but that might make her even more frightened. Then again, there was the option of a dare but... No, no she couldn't do that, she wouldn't use that to her advantage.Instead, she would try the old fashioned way of cheering her on, even giving a bit of an inscentive if she succeeded. "C'mon Mine-chan, you can do this. It's not hard, and nothing bad will happen. You know, if you get to the top, I'll have a surprise for you later!" Seraphim raised her voice enough to be heard, hoping Minerva might get a bit more motivation at this point when she spoke, staying just beneath the girl in case anything happened.

Minerva quivered as she clung tightly to the pipes. She was sucking in quick breaths. "I-I need you now..." She whispered. "Please help me... I can't do this alone." Tears welled up in her eyes. The place inside her that have her courage and strength, she wondered where it was. If only I could dare myself... She thought. Her eyes opened when she heard Seraphim's words. "Sera-San!" She said the words with suprise in her voice, even though she spoke to herself. "That's right. Mine-chan has never had anyone to catch her when she falls. She always had to rely on only what she could do and any mistake was very bad. Mine-chan has someone to catch her if she falls now but she can't only rely on Sera-San, she must also be strong." Minerva them began to climb again. Slowly and steadily she climbed, her tongue sticking out in determination as she made her way to the top.

In the back of Seraphim's mind, she had to keep telling herself not to dare the girl. It was not only the wrong thing to do, but she wanted Minerva to do this on her on, not with the help of the extra effort she always got from a dare. No, she wanted Minerva to know how to do this all by herself; to realize that her strength came from within, and not just from being pushed and dared into doing things.

When Seraphim heard though what Minerva had said, it was a bit disheartening to her, in fact there was a mild sense of pity for the girl once again, knowing she had been alone and didn't have many friends to rely on. It did help Seraphim feel a little better about herself though; being here for Minerva, she knew it was the right thing to do.

'Father Maxwell would be proud...' Seraphim thought to herself with a pained grin, thinking back at the church and how everyone there would be so happy for her in how she had been helping others so much lately.

Looking back up at Minerva though, she noticed that the girl had finally made it to the top, a large, open rooftop awaiting her up above. Oddly enough, there was a large black gym back in the corner of the roof by the pipe Minerva just climbed, and it looked like it had recently been put there too. How it got there though was anyones guess, but Seraphim knew why.

"Okay, I'm coming up now to!" She announced, taking a running start before she literally leapt onto the pipe, clearing a few feet up just from doing so. Seraphim's grip was tight, and she didn't just climb quickly, but she took small leaps, pulling herself up with both arms before reaching out and grabbing again. Not only was it impressive, but Seraphim was scaling it like an animal, looking like she had done this a thousand times and had no trouble with it at all, quickly scaling to the top of the roof in no less than twenty seconds, not even winded at all from it.

Minerva crawled onto the roof and panted on her hands and knees. She wasn't so much winded as as glad to be on a flat surface. She heard Seraphim's faint call and nodded to on one. "Ok Sensei-sama!" She called back in a huff. After a few seconds, she stood up and turned around to see how Seraphim was doing but found her standing before her. "Eep!" She squeaked and fell on her butt. Her wide eyes looked up. "Sensei-sama is fast!"

Every time she heard Minerva call her by the name of Sensei, she couldn't help but smile a little, even chuckling softly to herself at it. Minerva always seemed to bring out a brighter side to Seraphim, and she was really thankful for that, even if she never said it. When Seraphim reached the top though, pulling herself up with a final leap and rolling onto the roof, Seraphim kicked up to get to her feet, noticing how Minerva had fallen over, even making those bear ears from her orange track suit droop a little to further animate the girl's reaction. "Heh, thanks. But my friend Alison-chan gets all the credit for it; she taught me." There was a certain way that she said that person's name that made one wonder just who this person was, like seraphim really cared about this person. Seraphim even rubbed the back of her head with a nervous smile as she did, using her other hand to reach out and pull Minerva up. "Besides, that was all just to see some of your capabilities, I'm mostly here to train you how to fight, remember?"

"Oooh..." Minerva said with a wide eyed curiosity at Seraphim's explanation. She made a mental note to ask Seraphim more about it later. For now as she stood back up she smiled and merely said, "Arigatou Alison-chan!" When Seraphim returned her attention back to the task at hand, Minerva's brow furrowed in renewed determination and her bear ears perked up. She bent her knees and punched the air. "Hai sensei-sama!"

Seraphim couldn't help but chuckle softly behind the palm of her hand when Minerva said that, and reminded herself to thank Alison again later and tell her about her 'newest student.' But for now, Seraphim kept her focus on the training that she had to offer, slowly removing her hoodie as she approached the gym bag that was on the roof. Pulling the hoodie over her head, Seraphim nearly took off her sleeveless sports top in the proccess, a little embarressed with herself as some of her cleavage of the sports bra was shown, and she yanked it back down with a nervous sweatdrop. Once she got it off though, she unzipped the bag, revealing she had brought quite a few things from before, preparing for this day.

"I put this bag up here last night for us. No one comes up here, so I knew we'd be fine." Seraphim said as her back was turned, taking out a small cooler at first and sliding it to the side. "Help yourself, there's some water and juices inside." The ice-chilled cooler did indeed have some things to drink, even two sandwiches wrapped in foil, proving that she was thinking ahead. She continued to rummage through the back though, taking out a blanket and putting it aside, a small first aid kit, and then two sets of boxing gloves, tossing a blue pair over her shoulders towards Minerva's direction, not aware that she nearly threw them at the girl's head. "And put those on too." She added, zipping up the bag when she finished. There was still plenty inside she had brought, but that was for later, and if she had an emergancy of some sort.

Minerva watched as Seraphim walked over to the bag. Though her mouth hung open, her panting was minimal now. She saw Seraphim partially expose herself and blushed. Minerva, like Seraphim, thought of the white haired more of a big sister than anything that could be sexual but she did think Seraphim was beautiful and definitely sexy, plus no matter what their relationship was now, Seraphim had brought Minerva to an orgasm before. Complex and confusing thoughts drifted through the girl but were erased when Sera's shirt was fixed. She absent mindedly nodded when the beverages were offered and not until a pair of boxing gloves smacked her in the face did she snap out of it. "Wah!" She cried out and rubbed her cheek before putting them on. By this time she noticed the cooler and reached in, only to be thwarted by the gloves. She blushed and stuck her tongue out and hoped Seraphim hadn't noticed as she snapped to attention, giving up on the drink for now.

With a sudden facepalm at what she saw, Seraphim shook her head just a little, finding Minerva's reaction to really be summed up in one word when the boxing glove hit her in the face. 'Hopeless...' The girl really was, she had virtually no potential, and was really quite a weakling in the ring. But, through enough hard work, Seraphim knew that something good can come of this, and eventually Minerva would be able to fight. Even if she was only half decent, or just learned a few things, it would be enough to make Seraphim feel like she succeeded in some way, even with just a few things taught. None the less, Seraphim decided to move on, unaware of what lustful thoughts Minerva had. Truth be told, if Minerva really asked for it, Seraphim would have done something for the girl and please her, there was nothing wrong with just a little in Seraphim's book, but even she had her limits and would only do what made Minerva happy.

Getting to her feet, Seraphim adjusted her clothing for a moment, wearing now just a sleeveless black top that was untucked from her black jeans with that brass knuckle belt, along her with leather eyepatch and those black bracers she always wore, black seemed to really be Seraphim's dominant color, aside from her crimson read eye and the red boxing gloves she put on. And then of course her feather white hair that seemed to always be her most distinguishing feature. But overall, she didn't appear as intimidating as before, mostly because she was putting up a smile the whole time, walking over towards Minerva rather casually.

"Alright, I'm first going to teach you some basics; let's start with defense, alright?" Securing her gloves, Seraphim took a stance, this time being a full defensive boxer, rather then including Mauy Thai in any way. "Follow this stance here, and know that when you're blocking or expecting an attack, you should always make sure you guard your two most vulnerable areas." And with that, Seraphim raised one fist close by her jaw, protecting also her neck and face if she had to, while her other hand was closer towards her gut, both closed in fists, ready to block. "Throw a punch at me, I'll show ya what I mean. Then I want you to block my next strike."
