Julia Rogers vs. Valley Doll II - Try Again

The Jawbreaker. Quick, surprising, almost guaranteed to turn a match around in your favor. Valley had always gotten a lot of good use out of the move, and this time was no different, as shown by the dazed cowgirl sitting in front of her.

Momentum regained. It was time to work on that leg again. But first, a little payback.

Valley took a deep breath, then jerked backwards, doing a backwards roll and popping to her feet in one smooth motion. Not the most pleasant thing for her back, but she soldiered through. It would be worth the pain, if this worked.

Her feet touched the floor with a sizable gap between her and Julia, one that she immediately close by jumping forward, twisting around in a full circle, and shooting her leg out with a low spinning heel kick, aimed right at the very face that her opponent was currently nursing. Trying to knock her completely flat.

Julia was a tad too busy trying to shake out the cobwebs to appreciate the flawlessly executed kip up of her opponent. Got a nice little round of cheers and applause from the crowd going for her, though.

By the time Julia did see Valley again, it was only when most of the distance between them had been closed, just in time to get a quick glimpse of the other blonde’s boot before it slammed right hard directly into the luchadora’s masked face! “Ugh!” she yelled out at the impact, which knocked her flat onto her back and into a considerably heavier daze than she’d already been in just seconds ago.

”Ha!”

Valley indulged in a triumphant yell as she nailed Julia with the third - maybe fourth, she was losing count - kick of the match, knocking her flat and giving her a completely vulnerable opponent to work with. The crowd seemed to expect a pin from the way they were leaning forward, but Valley knew that wouldn't take Julia out this early. She had better ways to use her time.

She grabbed Julia by the ankle, dragging her to the center of the ring. From there, she kept the ankle lifted and did a quick spin, planting her foot down between the cowgirl’s leg as she completed the spin, putting her in the telltale position for a classic move. Valley brought her own leg over the ankle, fell back, and completed the hold, putting Julia Rogers in a makeshift prison of legs.

The figure-four leglock. It had been a while since Valley busted it out l. Only the best for Julia.

“Ughh...” Julia groaned, rubbing her head with her hand as she laid there on the mat. That kick to her noggin’ really hadn’t done her any favors. Granted, none of the other kicks she’d taken had either. Still, flat on your back and wide open against a gal like Valley was a dangerous place to be.

Case in point. Valley dragged Julia out to the middle of the ring like she was a lifeless carcass, and as the masked blonde’s senses started coming back to her, her legs were already being tied up in the dreaded figure four!

“AAGH!!!” Julia suddenly screamed out as the hold was applied. With her legs essentially hogtied in place, they remained motionless while the rest of her flailed and thrashed around in pure agony. But when the ref asked if she wanted to submit, Julia defiantly shook her head and shouted, “NO!”

Valley couldn’t help but feel a tinge of nostalgia as she watched Julia writhe around in pain, bringing her back to some of her earliest matches. In Slamazons, the figure-four leglock was pretty much a required mainstay, and there was rarely a show that didn’t feature the move at least once. She’d tapped to it quite a few times. Made others tap not nearly as much as she would’ve liked.

It was old school, and you just couldn’t beat old school. Julia was helping her demonstrate that quite well, here.

”No shame in giving up, Jules!” Valley sat up and jerked back, punching the hold and giving Julia bolts of pain, to go along with the constant stream. ”Tap!”

Valley wasn’t wrong. There wasn’t any shame in giving up. But win, lose or draw, there was shame in allowing a match to end before you’ve given it your all. Julia was in excruciating pain, but she still had plenty of fight in her.

A fresh, sharp cry of pain burst from Julia’s lips when Valley jerked back to add even more pain to the hold. Even still, she wasn’t about to submit. “Ain’t happenin’!” she yelled back to Valley.

Far from the ropes, Julia wasn’t sure she liked her chances of dragging them both over there to force a break. So instead, with a strained grunt she attempted to slowly turn her body to the side, hoping her effort would be enough to force Valley onto her front and reverse the hold!

Anyone who’d watched wrestling for more than a week would be aware of the counter for the figure-four, know the best way to turn it against your attacker. Valley certainly was, and she would’ve been disappointed if Julia didn’t go for it.

Knowing that something was going to happen, however, was a different thing than actually stopping it. A harsh, painful truth.

When Julia started rolling them over, Valley tried to fight it, managed to resist for a few moment. But her opponent was younger, stronger, had more stamina to draw from. There wasn’t any fighting it.

Over she went, and now it was Valley’s turn to howl in pain. Knees planted on the mat, she shook her head wildly and contemplated letting the hold go - she might have, too, but the position was one she didn’t want to give up just yet. She was certain she could turn it back around. She just needed a couple of moments to do it.

The second she rolled them both onto their fronts Julia put her palms against the mat and started taking several big breaths. Taking the pressure off of her own legs and throwing them right at Valley’s was huge for the cowgirl right now. But the situation was still far from perfect.

Even though the pressure was no longer being applied to her, having her legs tied up in this awkward position was damn painful on the leg Valley had been working over all match. She didn’t doubt the hold was currently giving her foe hell, but Julia wasn’t sure how long she could tolerate just applying it. And if she tried to untangle their legs, that might just give Valley a chance to easily flip them over again before she could break free.

With just a hint of reluctance, Julia continued to strain while wrenching on the pressure against Valley’s legs. “What was that ya said? ‘No shame in givin’ up?’” Julia said, playfully throwing her foe’s own words and advice right back at her.

And now came the taunting. Something about Julia’s accent made it all the more grating, too.

Valley gritted her teeth and fought back the pain as best she could, struggling to keep it together in the reversed hold. Her leg was still relatively fresh, so she had that going for her, but nonetheless, she wasn’t eager to have her own strategy turned against her. Kicking had gotten her fairly far in this match, she wanted to keep that trend going.

”Very funny, very funny.” Valley muttered and buried her face in the canvas, enduring the hold for a few more seconds. Finally, enough was enough - with a loud, irritated sigh, Valley released the hold and slid forward, freeing them both, though her legs hurt far too much to capitalize right away.

Julia couldn’t have felt more relieved when her legs and Valleys untangled. Immediately the luchadora rolled over to the ropes and grabbed on, using them to once again pull herself up. She didn’t even bother attempting to put pressure on the wounded leg. It wouldn’t have held, and she knew it.

She did give her thigh a nice, firm slap to try to get the blood flowing. “C’mon, dammit....” she muttered under her breath, knowing this very easily could’ve been time spent taking advantage of a big opening if she had just been capable of safely closing the distance.

But moments like this were likely going to be scarce. Every chance she could get to rest her leg, she needed to take it.
