Re: Meet the Fans!
While the match raged on inside the ring, Valley took her time to recover well on the outside of the ring. It wasn’t just that nasty spill that was hurting her, but the damage she’d taken from the little game they’d played before, still hurting even after the break.
But she was feeling better now, or as good as she was going to get without a long night in the bed. She didn’t immediately go back in, though. It had been a few years, but she remembers her strategies for three ways. It was all about making the most effective use of your time.
So she stayed low, stalking around the ring as Alicia and Chris battled, and her patience was rewarded when a dust off between the two ended with the Wrestle Angel rolling out of the ring. For the moment, Valley would have a winded Alicia all to herself. She could do wonders.
When the coast was clear, Valley slid in under the bottom rope, slithering behind Alicia like a snake. She jumped up when she close enough, spread her legs wide around Alicia’s head, and wrapped them around the Briton’s skull from behind.
”I’m back.”
With a quick giggle, Valley jerked back, pulled her legs in, and tried to send Alicia up, over, and down with a fierce reverse frankensteiner.

Re: Meet the Fans!
Looking at it all tactically, what went down made a lot of sense for all involved. First of all, as Alicia rose back to her full height, Chris decided discretion was the better part of valour and exited under the ropes. The big redhead couldn’t entirely blame her for that, but it was disappointing. That leg couldn’t be feeling good and she’d been hoping to get a few more shots at it.
That left her with the question of whether she went out after Chris or not. Staying in the ring by herself seemed a bit pointless but, with the fans crowding around the ring, she felt curiously disinterested in taking things to the outside.
She wasn’t given too long to think about it before the decision was taken right out of her hands. In taking on Chris, she’d taken her eyes off Valley and that was always a bad move (if inevitable). Before she could do more than straighten up fully, a pair of taut legs clamped around her head from behind and the British amazon had just enough time to hear the taunt and the giggle before the mat came out from under her and smacked her on the noggin.
If she’d been on her guard, there was an outside chance things might have been different. As it was, Alicia went down, head smacking on the mat, before coming almost involuntarily back to standing. For an instant, before her sturdy legs shivered and she staggered almost drunkenly for a beat. Before she…
Dropped to one knee.
Her head came up and she fixed Valley with that wicked smile, the only sign of any distress a slight glassiness to her eyes.
If Chris was taking a break, she still had someone else to play with.

KA-BOOM!
It had been a while since Valley had pulled off a good reverse ‘rana, and she couldn’t remember the last time she’d done it with someone who had such a stark size difference to her. Nonetheless, it went off without a hitch, as she arched back and brought her opponent up and over with a wide arc. It made her hope someone was catching this for Youtube.
The crowd gave her a quick round of applause of, along with some ‘HOLY SHIT’ chants that faded fast. With a quick nod, Valley hopped back to her feet, eager to follow up on her downed opponent.
She spun about on her heel, looked down, and found herself staring straight into the manic eyes of Alicia.
To say Valley was taken aback would’ve been an understatement. She knew the redhead was tough, sure. She’d experienced it firsthand. But this was something else. This was taking a heavy blow to the skull and staying steady. It was freaky, and the step that the Slamazon took back was a clear indicator that she thought so.
After an awkward moment, though, Valley steeled herself. One way or another, Alicia’s back was going on that mat. If the ‘rana wouldn’t do it, the follow up would.
Valley twisted around and shot her leg out straight as she turned, coming at Alicia’s face with a stiff spinning heel kick.

Re: Meet the Fans!
If she’d been a bit less shaken, rattled and rolled, Alicia would have been darkly amused by the look on Valley’s face. She looked like the horror film heroine who thought she’d slain the monster only to see the creature walk out of the firestorm still alive.
The fact that Alicia was down on one knee, swaying slightly, and Valley still took a step back was telling. Of course, Valley wasn’t the sort to be intimidated for long and she came right back in, clearly determined to put the stake in the kickboxer’s coffin.
Dazed as she was by the shock to her skull, Alicia’s move to guard herself was just a bit too slow. But, given close only counted for horseshoes and hand grenades, and it didn’t really matter how close she came to success – only that she failed. Valley’s heel cracked off the side of her head as she tried to move it out of the line of fire and, this time, the impact was more than enough to send Alicia down to the mat in a twisted heap of limbs.
Down but not out, Alicia blinked rapidly, shaking her head before planting her hands flat on the mat in preparation to shove back to her feet. Dazed or not, she couldn’t afford to just stay where she was.

Re: Meet the Fans!
Valley landed the kick and hopped back immediately, looking back on her opponent and seeing what she expected to see this time. Even though Alicia was down, the wariness remained on her face. Unlike Chris, she’d faced the Scissor Queen before, knew how she more than lived up to that name, and the exact last thing she wanted was an unnecessary reminder. Alicia was down and dazed, and she was of a mind to make sure she stayed that way, as long as possible.
Valley worked her way around the fallen kickboxer, moving over behind her as she rose, taking care to stay at a safe distance. She spared a few furtive glances in Chris’ direction to make sure they wouldn’t be interrupted soon, but aside from that, her eyes were centered.
”All right, all right…” Valley rubbed her hands and promptly plopped down behind Alicia’s head, getting in position. She didn’t relish the idea of working on the mat with her, but she had the advantage here. She had the initiative. Maybe that would make the different.
Valley grabbed Alicia’s head and shot her legs out on both sides of it, putting her between them for the second time in a minute. She placed her right ankle underneath her left knee, then reached down to grab her right foot, pulling it back to crank on the pressure.
A figure-four headlock - or, as she was calling it these days, the Valley Lock.

Re: Meet the Fans!
Alicia was hard-headed. In more ways than one, many people of her acquaintance might say.
So, while the kick had put her down, it wasn’t going to keep her down. And yes, she realised Valley would have something to say about that. But it wasn’t in her nature to stay down and that wasn’t a winning plan either.
So she was moving, rolling onto her back in preparation to get back up. It was meant as a transitional step but her blonde opponent wasn’t going to let her transition to much. Instead, as she hit her back, she felt the familiar sensation of her opponent’s legs sliding on either side of her head.
It was amazing the sort of things you noticed in moments like this. Right now, Alicia was briefly and oddly conscious of the softness of Valley’s skin as it brushed against hers.
And then the scissorhold locked tight and she had other things on her mind. There was no way that Valley’s legs were as strong as the massively thick limbs she herself possessed but they were more than strong enough to make this work.
Immediately, the hold wrung a choked gasp from Alicia’s throat, her eyes going wide as breathing suddenly got a lot harder. The British amazon instantly grabbed at the calf, doing her best to get her fingers into the gap – anything to take a little pressure off her throat.

Re: Meet the Fans!
Some people asked Valley why she went for the headlock instead of a regular headscissor, seeing the configuration as an unnecessary addition. In her opinion, though, it was quite the opposite. She always found she could get more pressure out of her legs like this, not to mention the fact that she could make it even worse by pulling back on her foot like a lever. It just felt like a more complete, total sort of pressure, in her eyes.
Plus, it looked neat. If Alicia could speak at the moment, Valley was certain she would agree.
”Gotcha.” Valley grunted and leaned back, putting more and more power into the crushing hold. While her legs lack the pure power that Alicia’s boasted, hers were still strong enough to knock someone out. She knew that for a fact.
”Nope, nope.” In response to Alicia’s prying fingers, Valley gave her a hips a twist, punishing the effort. ”Last person I put this on didn’t make it past a half minute. You might beat her, but…”
Valley lifted her hips up, then slammed Alicia’s back down to the mat, before giving her another twist. ”Tapping or napping, your pick.”
She was enjoying this, it was obvious to tell. It was nice to flip the tables on Alicia, if just for a little while.

Re: Meet the Fans!
Slowly but surely, Alicia’s usually tanned complexion was going darker and redder as the headlock took its toll. Despite that, she very much disagreed with the blonde’s assessment of the situation. She wasn’t out of the match yet and, while she couldn’t linger about, she fully intended to turn the tables.
Too bad Valley seemed to differ, with the twist of her hips both shaking the redhead’s hand free before she could make any inroads and sending a twinge of pain through her neck.
Then the slam to the mat and another twist and there was a blurring at the edge of her vision which was not a good sign. She could easily believe the blonde when she talked about thirty seconds but – at the same time – Alicia was a scissor expert. She knew how to counter and escape this sort of hold every bit as much as she knew how to apply it.
If she got a move on, of course. Otherwise, she’d be too busy being unconscious.
It was tempting to try and tell Valley she chose neither but, right now, Alicia had more urgent things on her mind. Abandoning her attempt to weaken the hold, grabbing at Valley’s thighs instead, the big redhead did her best to roll the two of them over. It’d take some of the pressure off her neck and, in that position, Alicia thought she could probably pry enough of a hole open to get her head out.
Then… Well, she wasn’t thinking that far ahead. She just needed to roll Valley over before she did risk passing out.

Re: Meet the Fans!
To be honest, Valley wasn’t quite sure about the thirty second stat, and she left out some key details. There was the fact that, while she used this moved quite often, she rarely managed to knock out anyone before they found a way to get free, by hook or crook. Also, while she had knocked out someone with it last year, that someone was a far smaller and weaker woman than Alicia. Though, she was also British. Funny coincidence.
So Alicia wasn’t the first to find a way out of the ValleyLock. She was, however, the first to get out of it like that.
Valley let out an annoyed grunt as she was flipped over, still holding onto the move, but from a much less workable angle, with Alicia’s head on its way to freedom. This was not the position you wanted to be in with Alicia Welles nearby, particularly when she had a very good reason to squeeze you. All of the sudden, she was faced with two choices:
A) Hold onto the headlock, until Alicia inevitably freed herself and came over her.
B) Cut her loses and make for the ropes.
With age and experience came the wisdom to know when to hold and when to fold, and Valley felt this was a better time for the latter. Valley let the headlock go and made a mad crawl to the ropes, hoping against hope that she could make it in time. Maybe Alicia would be too woozy to capitalize...

Re: Meet the Fans!
The second she was able to get Valley on her front, Alicia’s hands dug into the blonde’s grip. Just the change of angle had done a good deal to lessen the sting of the hold. But she still needed to get out properly, while Valley was still off balance from the change of position. And, with the edge of being the one doing the rolling (her MMA training coming to the fore again as she worked position), it wasn’t hard for the redhead to begin extracting herself from the hold.
At the same time, she was also wondering what Valley would do. Stubbornly try and keep the hold? Well, Alicia almost hoped she did. Escape was almost guaranteed and, if Valley just stayed where she was, the British woman would easily be able to take her back and go for a hold of her own.
As it was, Valley seemed to decide that it was best to give up and make a break for it. That meant the remainder of the coils around Alicia’s skull simply came away. It took her a moment to shake off the lingering effects and then she saw the blonde making a break for the ropes.
Oh no she didn’t.
Scrambling to all fours, the big redhead did her best to pounce on Valley before the veteran could make it to the sanctuary of the ropes.
