Meet the Fans!

Alicia was smiling their way, and while Chris was clearly a little taken aback by the look, Valley just smiled right back. She was fairly used to this sort of thing from the brutal Briton. The woman clearly loved a good fight above anything else, and while that could make her a little scary at times, there was certainly nothing inherently wrong with a wrestler who enjoyed her work.

”Consider it brung.” Valley winked, just before she and Chris went into action.

Chris took her straight on, and seemed to be intent on driving her into the nearest corner, if Valley was reading her right. That was fine by her - she felt her best bet here would be to work from the side, letting the bigger blonde do the heavy lifting.

So, the second Chris came at her, Valley ran off to the nearest turnbuckle besides the one Alicia was getting pushed to. She spun about, let her back hit the pads, then charged forward towards her the redhead at full speed, her short blonde hairs flittering about as she ran.

The moment she was close enough, Valley would leap up, getting big air, and bring both of her feet up to hit Alicia in the side of her face, looking to blindside her with a running drop kick in the corner.

A part of Alicia had been a bit worried. Not that the two other wrestlers would take her up on her invitation – that they’d insist on playing ‘fair’. But, to her glee, they didn’t. Chris looked uncertain for a moment but came on anyway and Valley…

Well, Valley seemed more than happy to provide.

Alicia steadied herself. And then Chris was on her. The blonde powerhouse’s attempt to wrap her arms around the redhead would earn her an elbow aimed at her jaw and a knee at the ribs. Whether those landed or not, though, the kickboxer got another demonstration of just how strong Chris Morgan was. Alicia was tossed almost bodily back into the corner behind her, grunting with the impact.

Still, she couldn’t afford to take any time to recover.

While she wasn’t a veteran of two on one fights by any means, Alicia wasn’t stupid. And Valley and Chris clearly worked well together, whether that was because they’d done this before or because they just clicked. Didn’t matter. But if Chris was drawing her attention, that meant…

The big redhead could hear the sound of feet coming her way. Her smirk widened. And she dropped into a deep crouch, making sure she was well out of the way of Valley’s drop kick.

Then she exploded up, her feet leaving the ground, as she went with a massive leaping knee aimed right at Chris’ chin.

Chris took the two strikes in stride, powering through them and hurling Alicia bodily into the corner. She woukd take a step back and another, getting space to go for a running splash into the cornered Brit. She shook her head as she went, shaking off the impact from Alicia's elbow to the jaw. The knee at her ribs made her remember the pain she felt from the redhead's body scissors earlier, slowing her down for a second.

In that time Valley went into action. Chris mentally had remind herself that there were no teams here, that Val would eventually come after her. But for the moment the Slamzon was working with her, going to dropkick Alicia in the face.

Only the redhead ducked the attack, letting Val hit the mat with her attack unfulfilled! Couching low as she reached Chris, the Brit leapt up into a flying knee!

The strike caught Chris right when she was moving forward, rocking her head back from the force of the impact. The taller of the two blondes fell backwards onto the mat, looking up at the roof of the arena....

Valley leaped into the air, Alicia dodged, and then she had ‘the moment’.

‘The moment’ was the worst thing about being a high-flyer. It was the instant after you tried a high risk move and you realized that your opponent had moved out of the way, which meant that you were certain to take a terrible fall. Time slowed down, you got to experience the helplessness as gravity dragged you along for a painful ride, and then came the impact.

In this case, it was particularly bad. Valley had been aiming for Alicia’s head, which wasn’t there anymore, which meant her feet kept sailing over the ropes. Her back landed on the ropes, they threw her forward, she flopped down on the apron and came to a painful rest on the floor outside of the ring, utterly wiped out.

Not the worst crash she’d ever taken, but enough to throw her for a loop. In other words, she’d need a minute before she could get back in the game.

Well, that worked out well. Aware rather than seeing Valley go flying, the redhead was more familiar with the way her knee hammered into Chris’ jaw. It’d been well timed, though as much by good luck as good management, with Chris coming forward and adding her momentum to all the power Alicia had packed into the hit. Either way, she went down with a crash, almost certainly vulnerable for a moment.

Sparing just a heartbeat to check Valley was down, Alicia threw herself to the ground by Chris’ legs. Grabbing at one tree trunk of a limb, she went to get it between her own legs to secure it, going to lock the foot with her arm. With any luck, she’d be able to get her forearm pressing right on the big woman’s Achilles Tendon, at the same time doing her best to twist Chris’ foot outwards in a way nature hadn’t intended.

It was a hold that was guaranteed to be agonising and also debilitating if she was allowed to lock it on properly.

It was far too early in a match to go for a submission. She was never going to make Chris tap out, particularly not when Valley could be stopping by any second to make her release the hold. Not happening. And Alicia didn’t even want to make Chris tap yet. But she did want to weaken the big blonde – working her legs over would be a good way of doing that. Make it harder for her to support big power moves. Slow her down.

The big redhead would wrench the hold as hard as she could, eager to take every inch of advantage she could get.

Chris shook her head, clearing it as her blonde hair waved briefly. She knew she had to get back to a verical base. Her, prone, she was vulnerable to both Alicia's and Valley's styles of wrestling.

And Alicia was quick to move in, seizing her leg and barring it at a critical point at the foot. The American let out a brief yell of pain before gritting her teeth. This was exactly where she didn't need to be, trapped on the mat. But, she had no intention of lying back and taking it.

Raising her other leg above Alicia, she drove her heel down towards the other woman's face, using her long limbs to attempt to force the British woman to release the hold....

Good news for one of the women in the ring. Chris was too stunned to fight back at first and Valley was seemingly out of it. That meant the big Brit was able to secure her submission hold and tear a sharp cry from the Phenom. At least, up until Chris went to strike back by dropping a heel on her face.

Not fun at all.

Alicia knew she couldn’t just sit here and take shots like that forever. Even with one of Chris’ legs immobilised and between the two of them, making the angle way too awkward for the blonde to bring her full power to bear, there was just too much behind it.

At the same time, she wanted to eke every last drop of advantage out of this hold she could. Even for her, getting Chris on her back wasn’t something she could count on regularly – it’d be stupid to let this opportunity go. She’d not been able to get the hold perfectly; it was probably just agonising instead of a recipe for a fast tap.

Still, the work she was doing to that leg was worth a couple of awkward hits so she gritted her teeth, did her best to twist Chris’ foot off her ankle at the same time as crushing that big tendon against the bone.

And waited for the next time that other leg came up so she could pull back. But she didn’t let go of that trapped foot, going to wrench at it from a standing position instead, the redhead also lashing out with a nasty kick at the kneecap. This definitely wasn’t a tenable position for long but she could still get some more mileage here.

Chris yelled out in pain as Alicia delivered a sharp kick i to her knee. The woman was definitely skilled enough to know how to take someone out of a fight. She had to get back to a vertical base, before the redhead tore down her supports.

Grimly, with the Brit in a standing position, Chris drew back her foot and then drove it hard into the pit of Alicia's stomach, looking to double her over so she could then deliver another kick, this one in the form of the blonde's large boot into Alicia's face....

Kicks to the knee were never fun. That joint was hellishly vulnerable even for women built like Chris or Alicia, and having someone with the Scissor Queen’s power target it was always going to hurt. Was always going to be debilitating, particularly when it was in the awkward position that Chris’ leg was.

Hence the yell as the redhead’s boot hit home.

And Alicia was just setting up to do it again when Chris went to return the favour; somewhat at least. With both hands occupied holding that big leg, the Brit wasn’t able to do much more than tense her stomach and take the hit. Nowhere near enough – it might not have doubled her over fully but it was certainly close enough that the big blonde was able to deliver the next hit more or less to her face.

That left her seeing stars and certainly meant she wasn’t going to be hitting that knee again.

Huffing for breath, the redhead half-laughing through the pain and breathlessness, Alicia staggered back, somehow managing to keep her balance – just. It’d take her a moment to reassert herself but she probably had that time; Chris was flat on her back, after all, and that leg couldn’t be feeling good.

Shaking her head, she started to straighten back up. Still smirking, naturally.

Chris, holding her knee after managing to kick Alicia away, decided to buy some time and regroup. Instead of trying to get to a standing position on her feet, the veteran rolled out of the ring, going under the bottom rope to land on her feet outside the ring.

Although prudent, the decision didn't sit well with the fans, who elected to boo the former Wrestle Angel. However, Chris paid them no heed, electing to instead shake her leg about, making sure she still had the full range of motion with it, which she did...
